Clean store, great selection of Rock shirts/ concert shirts and I believe his name was Leo. Leo went out of his way to help me and was so nice and courteous.
10/10 experience. I’ve never shopped for clothes for myself before and had a lot of anxiety going in. Leo was super helpful, knowledgeable, kind, patient, and understanding. He’s super chill and instantly knew which clothes would fit the aesthetic I wanted to go for. If you go to this place and Leo is there, you won’t be disappointed. Trust me. Thank you Leo. Went into this store during a short trip, very cool vibe inside with Alot to look through. Leo, who helped us out, was incredibly nice and welcoming. We liked the store so much that we had to come back on our last day just to check out the store again and say hi to him. Would 100% come back next time I’m in New York!
Nice stuff but the prices are a bit too high to be considered “thrift”. Basically all the shirts are $20 and up even ones with holes and stains, pants seemed to be $30 and up. Small shop with good stuff here but don’t come expecting anything cheap (also not much of a size variety, if you wear large/x-large or bigger you might have trouble finding something for you here)
The selection was excellent. The music and vibe was super good. The prices were very good for what they were selling. Lots of leather jackets, tough workwear jackets and button downs. The staff were amazing. They seemed to have the entire inventory memorized and could give you recommendations for similar pieces that you were interested in. They care about the customer and seem like they were genuinely there to help. Would always go back every time Im in the city
I think this was probably very cleaned out before I got here on a weekend afternoon idk? Because I didn’t find anything other than mainly school spirit tshirts, flannels, jeans/pants and windbreakers. Nothing unique or invoking style, unless you want to pay a lot of money for grunge for some reason. Otherwise verrry small and overpriced with $20-$65 tshirts and the lowest baseline is $20-30 and nothing under for items that are cheap at more expensive places. A lot of stained items. No sense of curation. They really need to update their dressing room situation. On the plus side, no shein/ forever21/etc which is a good sign, and they put sizes on their price tags.
Great place to go to, the owner is a friend of my brothers, he’s a DRIP lord!!!( dresses very nicely and encourages you to get pieces of clothing that you wouldn’t usually get, knowing they would look great) and is just super chill. The store is a great environment it’s warm and inviting and…… the music fire
100,000 views later and 1 year, this business manages to maintain all of its spectacular qualities, instead of Nick at the front counter, you’ll find Leo! another great addition to the thrift NYC team, but also just a very nice and genuine person, the selection at the store remains top-tier, and the prices are still very competitive with other thrift stores in the area.
I’ll be back to shop Thrift NYC!

I‘ve been here today in the afternoon, had the best experience in here! amazing store, very nice and friendly shop owner as well as his friend that accompanied him. very great selection of jackets, jeans, y2k sweaters, just about everything you need for a vintage store. loved it and fully recommend it!

Don't bother. Their sales people are obnoxious. Their sizing is limited (no XL men's shirts, really??). Their sourcing is tepid and their prices are unimpressive. There are so many other stores that do it better.
absolutely incredible! if you are looking for high quality vintage clothes at a great price, this is the place to go! it’s not like one of those thrift stores that’s super big and full of junk, it’s a little store focused on funky vintage finds and i couldn’t recommend it more! the music is great, along with the vibe, and the staff was very helpful. be prepared to spend at least 20$ on anything in there. it was absolutely filled to the brim with sick finds! would very much recommend 10/10!!!!
This is a nice store. There was a good selection of mens clothes- jeans, pants, tees, shirts, coats. Small selection of women’s clothes. Some interesting printed tees.
Wonderful store with very nice higher end items. Owner was very friendly and great to chat with while my wife and daughter shopped. Music was excellent and general vibe was great. Definitely check it out, but don’t tell too many people so it stays a hidden gem!!!
This is hands down the best thrift store in NYC, no questions asked!!! The variety, selection, styles, and overall vibes are unmatched! It is an absolute treasure. Every time I go, I leave with a haul of unique pieces that complement my style and taste eloquently. You'll also find that the owner is an incredible person who really cares about his clients, selection, and store. Don't be afraid to ask if something looks good on you or compliments your style, he's your guy. To go even further, Thrift NYC offers premier client relations like holding your items while you load up or just simply checking in on you. I can't wait to go back, and once you go, you'll feel the same way.
Best thrifting experience I've ever had! Amazing selection, owner was so nice to us, he helped us find things that fitted us and matched our styles. Prices are really reasonable. Can't recommend it enough, will be back!!

This my new favorite thrift shop in NYC, no joke. Might've just been lucky but literally everything was fitting perfectly and looking good. In addition to that, the owner was handpicking things out for me and giving me honest opinions on how they all look.
