Got two flat tires in the same day, had my roadside tow my car here, was in and out on new tires in 20 minutes. Really a life saver finding a tire shop or gas station in middle of manhattan is rare ?? thank you guys for your service.

I’m a uber driver last night I got flat tire in the storm I was in down town manhattan I didn’t see any tire shop there I drove around 4 miles to this guy I also tried to change it by myself but it was freezing so reached to the tire shop ask them to repair and they said we can’t repair it because it’s not good anymore ok that make sense then the guy said I have used tire if want to buy I asked him to show me and I saw the tire that tire was dead no threads nothing and he said $90 and he said I don’t have new tire but he had new tire I asked home sir you have new tire how much for new one I believe that new one was around $80 or max $100 it wasn’t a b famous brand he knows that I’m in trouble he just tried to rob me I asked him Change it with my spare tire I paid him $20 cash only and I came home…. We I learned a lot last bite which will help me in future and never go to them again ??
This place screwed me last night over charging me $80 per tire that was basically bald. On top of that the next the same tire that they replaced ended up going completely flat on me in less than 24 hours. I came here because I was desperate. Trust me if you can find another place then go there. They couldn’t even give me balance on the tires they scammed me on!
They take advantage of you. I went a couple of times for tire plugs. Every time I pay $15. Today he decided to tell me it’s $30. I asked him why $30 today? He said just cause I feel like it. Lol never going there again.
Beware of the guy working the early morning shift trying to hustle females! I went around 7am because my tire was low and needed air. Since it was so low, I asked him to check it. He told me it would be $20 just to check the tire and said if the air goes down, then something is wrong with it. I’ve been there many times before, and the person who works in the evening always checks the tire without charging just to look at it.
So I came here and Santiago and Cesar we’re working and it was an absolute pleasure to deal with them. I came with my BMW 550 with a run flat and honestly within 10 minutes. These guys had two cars in and out amazing experience. I hope the boss sees this review and gives them a raise as those guys are very professional. Nice guys to deal with well done. good job guys hard to find professional guys in Manhattan. You guys nailed it.
Tried to charge $30 for a basic tire plug that usually costs $5. Prices feel inflated and predatory, especially when you’re stuck and need help. No transparency, no fairness. Would not recommend.

I have been driving around with my tire indicator shining bright on my dashboard and kept stalling, telling myself I would deal with it later. Bad idea. I just got off the Hugh Tunnel on my way to Jersey for work, heading toward the Lincoln, when I suddenly heard the weirdest noises. Next thing I know, my tire completely busted.
Of course, being in the city makes everything harder. Finding a tire shop out here is nothing like Brooklyn, where there are ten shops within five miles. I looked up a place, drove all the way there, only to find out they were closed. At that point, I crossed my fingers and hoped Carlos Tires would still be open and thank God they were.
They were quick, professional, and had me back on the road in no time. Truly a lifesaver. If you ever need tire help while you’re in the city, I definitely recommend them ?✨
Amazing experience. The guys were very nice, very professional and quick and easy to work with. They plugged my tire, and i was off in 10 minutes from the moment I came. Most definitely recommend If you need a quick patch/Plug or tire change.
$25 to plug a small leak. Reasonable considering it's Manhattan. Hey they gotta pay the rent and feed their family. Professional, respectful and had no problem letting me follow them in the back to see them check and repair tire. Open 24 hours ?
When they changing the tire make sure you watch them do it in front of you, they didn’t want to fix my tire because they said it had a bigger nail, that’s their excuse to charge you either more money or sell you a used or a new tire, the patch should cost between 10$ 20$ not 80$ bucks!! Be really careful guys!!!! They charged each person differently so be really careful
Total rip-off. Don’t bring your car here for a flat repair unless you have no other choice. They charged $60 and even determined the price based on what kind of car I drive. Worst of all, they don’t stand behind their work when they mess up. Stay away.
Wednesday night I got flat tire, I went there and I will let you know about what you have to be careful when you go there.
- you have to check your tire pressure by yourself cause last time they made the pressure 44.
- for fixing they asked me for 25$ after they finished despite I used to pay 15$ only and they said you can complain to the manager -they have to add a sign with the prices, a price increase after the work was completed
We were in the city recently and the low pressure gauge started going off for our tires. It was almost impossible to find a working air pump anywhere. The cab driver drove by and screamed out the window and told me to go to this place. This was one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had… Like a NASCAR Station for normal people. The two guys that worked here were so nice and immediately took care of the tire issue. I watched two other people get their tires fully patched and/or removed in the 15 minutes I was here. What a cool operation! Cash only so keep that in mind.The price is super cheap and so remember to tip them well!
Love this place - all professional guys and great prices! $15 to fix my flat (also gave a $5 tip) and so quick. Open 24 hours too. Been here twice (unfortunately) and always got great service!
Update (09-22-2025) - Unfortunately was there AGAIN a few weeks ago; just wanted to update that rates went up to $20. Still great service and very reasonable, considering the times (where everything keeps going up).
I didn’t get to use his service due to my car located pretty far but they are really helpful. I appreciate it. If I have flat tire next time that can be patched up, I’ll definitely go here. Thanks!
We were visiting from out of state and hit a nasty pothole and someone told us about this place. He fixed my rim enough to get us home and charged $20! So friendly, great service! I wish we had places like this at home!
It was like being a NASCAR driver! I pulled in front, the car went up on the jack, pneumatic drill pulls the lugnuts, tire is repaired, back on the axle in five minutes! Prices posted. Mechanics friendly. Best car related event I’ve ever had in NYC!
Called many tire repair centers in midtown but they all had excuses. Carlos’ Flat Fixed came in clutch and helped me with what I needed. They were fast, efficient, and honest. They got me out real quick.
Great place. Went at around 1:15am for a flat on my back tire. Had a nail in it so I asked for it to be patched. Both guys were great. Quick service and reasonable price. The Patch job cost me $45. The man mentioned that a Plug job was $25. Also, it's cash only. Wait time was between 5-10 minutes to get the tire repaired. Excellent work, reasonable price and quick service. Definitely recommend.
On a quick trip, came back to my car with a flat. Found them through a quick search and they took me immediately and handled the multiple small nails in my tire in 10 minutes. They were extremely nice and helpful. I'm also an out of towner so they could have price gouged me, but they didn't. It was extremely reasonable, quick and painless. Which is something I've never said about needing service to my car. Thank you for getting me home safely.
I'd definitely use them again. (although I hope I don't have to lol) I don't review places normally but I think they deserve it.
Had a slow leak in my rear tire, and found this place... Unfortunately, the leak was plugged once (or twice) previously, so didn't want to throw good $$ after bad and just repair the leak. I was given the option of getting a new tire and so I opted for that... There was no sales pressure at all. The service was quick and efficient.
Just had a flat tire again (no thanks to NYC potholes). Luckily, Carlos tire repair was near by . Service was super quick, in and out in 15-20minites . Guys offered me used tire for half a price or new one for regular price. Price included setting up the tire on the disk and installing it on the car. So far I’m happy with the service , they saved me good amount of money and time that day. 5 stars
