The owners have known me since I was a kid—honest men who do fair business. Don’t take the bad comments below to heart. In this area, you’re dealing with different kinds of people, and you have to keep your guard up, so our service and social standards aren’t what you’d call “the norm.”
I mean, you’re buying used car parts—you can’t expect “like new” condition, low mileage, or to play 20 questions over the phone fishing for information. Remember, time is money, and chances are, those types of people never even buy anything!
Now, on a more service-related note, Roosevelt Auto Wrecking is one of the few salvage yards that will:
A. Return your money or
B. Give you another part in the rare case the first one doesn’t function correctly or is damaged.
Personally, I’d rather have that guarantee and put up with some “locker room talk” than get “smooth-talked” over the phone—by some woman who just goes by the part number—and end up screwed over if the part is damaged or not working.

What a terrible place to get any parts or information from. These people don't know what they are selling. I came all the way from the Bronx and told them what car I had. They said it's all the same. It was wrong. Terrible customer service
I literally just got off the phone with a man from this location who offered a transmission with 100,000 mileages for my sisters 2015 Nissan Sentra. I then asked is there any others with lower mileage he begin to raise his voice at me saying “the car is 9 years ago and divide that Etc… “ very unprofessional and terrible customer service. If I could give no stars I would.
Didn’t have what I needed but they went as far as to source it and get me on the right track in no time. Will definitely come back if I need more used parts. Call ahead!
This is a salvage yard, they do a great job of keeping and tracking a large inventory. Willets point, not for the faint of heart. Definitely call ahead and confirm part availability.
Except for having to drive through the night enclosed streets there service was good really good price for a engine I purchased and good miles on it the workers were very respectful and they were very customer satisfying overall great experience there thumbs all the way up for real I recommend this spot to anyone needing parts wheels ect Roosevelt Auto wrecker's saved my car being I needed a motor I got what I needed
They are amazing. Purchased a engine for my car from them for a great price. Not only the price was amazing; they installed it and did a great price. They changed the water pump, thermostat and spark plugs. Called me and told me i might I might as well buy a clutch to put in. The car is running amazing and they did it over 2 years ago. The only place I choose to go with my vehicle.

The owner was helpful. I have an old bmw. He had the part I needed. Even if he doesn't have the part, he will assist you in locating the part even if it doesn't get him the sale. Will be coming here for my old car parts needs that just can't be found new.
