FYI, this is still lifted listed as Manhattan, but it is closed permanently on W. 38th St. and is now in Long Island city. However, the business has not updated its listing, so I drove here to get my car inspected and now I cannot do so. Can’t speak to their services so I’m sure they are fine.
I have never had such a terrible experience. Would never have imagined this was even possible. Sprinter van came out of the shop with more damage than it went in with. I tried reaching out multiple times & sent proof with photos taken from my insurance company. They promised to get back but never did. The only explanation for what happened is that it was raised up on a lift without consideration to the vans height which resulted in the roof along with the ac unit being severely banged up and broken.
Still looking into legal action. NOT RIGHT
Overnight Leon and his team repaired the dent on my car and replaced my shattered window. I’m very picky with what shops work on my car but trust these guys to the max.
Bad customer service…u call them to get info and they hung up on ur face ..they tell u yes to do some services at night since they open 24/7 and when u go there they tell u nah we can’t do because the guy is Not here …
The best auto shop in the tri-state area!!...open 24-7.. There's absolutely nothing these guys can't fix!...Only thing limiting them would be the availability of part delivery!...get your NY inspection here... alignment... paint job... All electrical issues are resolved... all mechanical issues ... These are the guys your dealership send your car to if they can't resolve a problem!!...
Buyer beware. These guys are great until they make a mistake. Then, you’re on your own. They have zero integrity when it comes to admitting their errors and making things right with customers when these mistakes incur further hardship. Trust me, and seek your mechanic services elsewhere—pay a few hundred dollars more if you have to. But avoid, avoid, avoid. Not at all worth the initial “savings” they may offer.
Owner is very nice person and humble. But the manager is very rude and disrespectful person treat customers like garbage. Did complain abut Manager to the owner.
This is worst place to repair your flat tire . They didn’t open my tire & didn’t check my entire tire . Bcz the pin was side of the tire & ONLY insert the rubber strip. Charged me $25.00. DONT go there . Clear robbery.it’s the most expensive flat fix in NYC area. Driver will judg & 1 tire price sedan asked $260.
I had problems driving down from Canada with my car into Manhattan and it was Columbus Day. I was received by Essa who took care of me and my problems and gave me fantastic service at a very fair price. I highly recommend them. Jai-rruh-jef Essa.
I just had my oil changed. Excellent service and very friendly staff. They access their database of car models and know which oil to choose. I will definitely return for other services.
Our Inn was transporting some new furniture from our Brooklyn location to our Inn in the Catskill Mountains. When we were rear ended by a pass van. Our door didn't shut properly, thus we couldn't make the trip out. We brought our truck into A1 Collision NY and were surprised by how great their service was. It was a tremendous value, and we were back on the road within a few days. Thank you A1!
I was at the convention center installing a booth for the New York International Auto Show 2016. My client is a high end luxury car and SUV manufacturer. they wanted one of their white displays painted black, and it had to be a quality finish. Sending the unit back to my paint shop was not an option at that point. I did a quick search and found A1 Collision, and gave them a call. Not only were they very receptive and accommodating to my non-typical request they were able to complete the work in a very short turnaround. Which is paramount to my industry and the finish looked great! They made me look like a hero in front of my clients. I have no doubt that I will need to call on them again next year and I now have additional support I know I can depend on!

The manager is inhuman and rasist... he literally curse at the clients infront of my eyes ... my advise dont stop by this shop you will defenetily not enjoy the business.
