Opened a few minutes early. Joey, mechanic on duty, possibly owner was super nice guy. Very quick, very honest. NY inspection took 12 minutes, $40! Would certainly go to him for body work based on this, if needed.

Commend Tony and Frank for their exceptional service. Despite issues with my car - e-brake faily, they provided timely and quality towing service. Their professionalism and the White Glove service made a significant difference. Their price is competitive comparing to those offered by my insurance at discount rate.

Called ahead for an inspection and was told to come by any time (first come first serve). I pulled into the garage 10 minutes later and pulled out 15 minutes after that. The whole experience was very quick and easy and the team was super helpful - they also kindly put on my registration sticker and front and back licence plates. I will be back in the future!

Highly Recommend for State Car Inspections. I showed up on a Monday at 11AM with no appointment as a walk in. They took my car right away and were done in under 10 minutes. Easiest car inspection of my life. In previous years, I always dreaded inspections cause it would take hours out of my day. The last time I tried doing an inspection in manhattan, I got told by other auto shops was a four week wait, so I would always go to other boros. With congestion pricing now in effect, since I live in the zone, I rather stay local. I saw everyone in the reviews of this place saying they took walk-ins and were very quick. I gave it a shot, and they exceeded my expectations. I will be coming here every single year for as long as I live in manhattan!

These guys are outstanding! I brought my car for a yearly inspection and Mo greeted and treated me with the courtesy and respect that I would expect if I brought my car for an engine replacement!

I recently took my car to Marty’s after my son got into abit of an accident, and I couldn’t have been more please with the results. I towed my car over to the shop and in about a week repairs were finished, and they even cleaned the car for me. The guys at the shop dealt with my insurance company after I made the claim and they kept me updated. Highly recommend!!!

Got me in for a car state inspection on a Tuesday morning quickly and with no hassle. It was $40, which is a bit more than I'm used to, but definitely worth it for the convenience and location and level of service. Thank you!

I’ve been going to Marty’s for a while now, and they’re honestly the best. Reliable, honest, and they always get the job done without trying to upsell you on things you don’t need. They’re really knowledgeable about cars and can diagnose and fix just about any problem. You can tell they know their stuff. Plus, their prices are reasonable—definitely not like some of the other places in the city. If you’re looking for an affordable, trustworthy mechanic in NYC, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Didn’t provide a firm price until I came to pick up the vehicle, and they wanted 25% more than original estimate. After some push back they immediately dropped the price part of the way back to the original amount.

After leaving I discovered they did not properly reattach my rearview mirror when replacing the windshield, and about ten minutes later the canopy on my sunshade fell into the car, which I suspect was due to poor AC conditions wherever they held the car causing the adhesives to melt.

They gave me a partial discount for this, but did not seem apologetic at all and refused to take responsibility.

The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Would not recommend.

Second time coming to this place. This visit was for oil change and license plate installation. I did not make an appointment but they were kindly enough to accommodate me. In and out in only an hour or so and they didn’t even charge me for the plate installation. Couldn’t be happier about this shop. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend this place. First went in for a state inspection and was in and out in 15 mins. I then went in for some body work and the guys did an amazing job. Car looks brand new! They are very reasonable and reliable.

Drove up early for a photo inspection for my insurance company. They were happy to accommodate me, directed me where to park, took all my info, etc and I was out of there in under 10 minutes! Have no reason to believe they would be any different under other circumstances. Will go back again. Thanks!

This place is FANTASTIC. The service was so quick. The car was ready a day early and is as good as new. They helped with my insurance as well and gave me a great price. Dropoff and pickup took less then five minutes each time. I think the guy that helped me was Chris so a huge thank you to him. Cannot recommend this spot enough. They were all super helpful.
