The team was great very communicative and the car came back looking perfect and worked with my insurance provider. They picked up and dropped off the car looking perfectly detailed.

Really bad service, they do whatever they want with your car when clarity tells them what you need, they tend to also change your pieces for cheaper ones.

I do not recommend this body shop. My vehicle was brought here for accident repairs through my insurance company. The shop charged the insurance for parts and repairs that were not completed. After receiving my vehicle, I discovered that certain parts, including headlights, were not replaced despite being listed as completed. When I raised the issue, the shop refused to correct the repairs and claimed there was an agreement, which never happened. I would strongly advise anyone using this shop to carefully inspect their vehicle before accepting it back.

I was really nervous about having to find an autobody in NYC after all the nightmares I’ve heard… but I called my mechanic and they suggested Marmin. Working with Gary and the Marmin team has been the best car experience I’ve ever had. Truly couldn’t recommend them enough. The turnaround was fast, the communication was great, the pricing was fair, and all around this was such a fantastic experience. Thank you to Gary and the entire team.

Gary from Marmin is the best! He is the most responsive, goes the extra mile to help and does great work. His is a second generation business that cares about helping the customer, being responsive and doing great work. Other competitors treat customers like numbers, not people. Marmin is a family business that cares about the customer. The competitors can't be bothered to return calls and even charge for estimates! Some luxury auto dealers won't even talk to you without charging a fee to look at pictures or the car damage. Gary stands heads and shoulders above the rest. This is his career, his family business's reputation. He cares about long term relationships, treating the customer fairly, doing good work and being responsive and responsible. Marmin went the extra mile to do superior work and even fixed the other side of the rear bumper and lights, which was not in the original estimate. They washed the car and cleaned the inside so it looked brand new. They did outstanding work on time, underpromised and over delivered. Can't say enough good things about Marmin. They are the best! I used Gary and Marmin a year later. They continue to be supremely professional and customer service oriented. I needed the repairs down by the weekend and they were incredibly responsive and did great work. As they are family owned, Gary oversees everything. The competitors are very corporate i.e. you are just a number. They have no flexibility, make it difficult to make appointments even for an estimate and won't give you a definite time when the car will be ready. Gary is just the opposite. He is responsive, flexible, stands by his word and does great work. Cannot recommend more highly! As an update, I had a fender scratch from parking on the street. Gary, as a personal favor, buffed the bumper for free so it looks totally fine. He didn't have to do this. As Marmin is a family business, Gary is in the long term relationship business. Many of his competitors are transaction oriented. Gary is in the long term relationship business. I have sent him business, offered to be a personal reference and have been a loyal, repeat customer. I can't recommend Marmin highly enough as Gary is the only one I have encountered who deserves this high praise and life long loyalty.

Our Mercedes Benz GLS 450 was in need of some accident repairs, and Gary was very helpful and accommodating. In addition to promising a quick turnaround, Gary was able to provide a very good price that was significantly lower than anyone else we spoke to. The work was completed very quickly, and dare I say, the car looks better than it did prior to the accident? Gary and his team did a beautiful job of the highest quality. They are very comfortable working on expensive foreign cars. I can highly recommend Marmin Auto Body and will never go anywhere else for my needs in the future.

I got into a fight with a concrete pillar in a parking garage...the pillar won and left it's mark on both passenger side doors. I looked around but then saw Marmin's reviews and they were right, I would give 10 stars if I could. Gary was honest, professional and my car looks better than the day I bought it and it is a new car, so that is saying something! He got it done when he said he would so everyone just stop looking around and head to Marmin, there is nothing more I can say. You will be beyond happy.

I recently brought my 2004 Audi A6 4.2 to Marmin after an incident that affected the entire passenger side of the vehicle and the front bumper. This old car, while nice, has a very limited market value. The cost to repair at Marmin justified keeping the car. At the same time, the quality of the work was terrific. All the repairs were made seamlessly and the color was rich and consistent throughout the exterior. I don't think the car ever looked better since I first picked it up 20 years ago. If a photo is worth a lot of words, check out the picture. The car is old but I'm attached to it and very happy that it will have more time on the road. The car has been good to me over the years so I'm happy to return the favor thanks to Marmin. My review would not be complete without mention of Gary. He is the person people deal with throughout the process from estimate to delivery. He is a jewel while very competently running an active business. I'm amazed at what they are able to do. I particularly appreciated that Gary went out of his way to secure parts that were difficult to obtain for my old car. He is a pleasure to deal with. In general, dealing with accidents is not enjoyable. Gary, with his expertise, has a reassuring manner and provided a fair and objective assessment of the situation. The reality was not as bad as the fears and the episode was put behind me. Now, I love to look at the car.

Exceptional! We’ve gotten five MBs repaired by Gary (Marmin) over nearly 15 years. Each time he has made the process easy and painless and has lived up to his word. He returns the car looking flawless in a handful of days vs the two weeks or longer that the MB NYC dealer takes. Go to him and you will be happy you did.

I came here for the first time to get roof scratching repaired. Gary was excellent to work with. He always answered the phone and called me as soon as the repair was complete, which was even earlier than I had anticipated. The repair looks great and I wouldn't even know there was ever any damage - they matched the manufacturer paint color perfectly. The location is very easy to get to for anyone on the Upper East Side and they are open until 7pm so I was able to go after work and still get there on time. Overall very happy with the service and quality.

I am longstanding customer unfortunately due to a few mishaps of living in NYC. They always manage to put me ease for all repairs and are prompt when the work is completed. Thank you Gary and his staff of great professionals. Also really like your new location much more convenient.

Came here for the first time to get body repair after a hit-and-run on my 2005 Acura. The owner Gary was very easy to work with, kept me up to date on the progress and got the repairs done quickly. The new parts and paint look great. His rates are also considerably cheaper than what my dealer charges. Will likely return to Gary for any future work or maintenance.

Gary and the team at Marim Auto Body were communicative, efficient, and accommodating. I have USAA Car Insurance and within 30 minutes of filing my claim Gary had called me and was able to immediately start working on my car. He provided me with the detailed breakdown of cost and timeframe. Not only did Gary update me every day but when the car was completed I was so happy with the result. My, relatively older car, looked almost brand new! Would, and already have, recommend to anyone.

0 knowledge on what they are doing. All they want is just take the money from the insurance as quick as possible. I gave Gary my car after an accident, yes great job on the outside, I won’t take that away from him. But mechanically he didn’t do anything what he was supposed to! My car has a huge noise after I put the car on Drive. All he told me was oh yeah go to someone else they might do it for you. I brought him the car expecting that everything was going to be fixed but was very disappointed after I took my car from him and took the money from the insurance for one thing but yet told me that he can’t fix it the most important thing!!! Why do I need you to fix my car outside when the inside you didn’t do anything???? DO NOT TRUST HIM! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! After Gary responded: Gary, the insurance initial estimate was 3k, but you brought them up to 6k correct? The estimator said that you told her that was not from the accident, how do you want them to cover it? And why would you say that?

We needed to get our car serviced immediately after it was broken into and Marmin was the first shop we called. Gary picked up the phone and was so courteous and accommodated us right away. He assured us during a very stressful time; when tensions were high and our car was vandalized as a result of an uptick in crime from the Covid-19 pandemic. The car came back on time and was done to perfection. As my husband said when he picked it up, “the inside looks like it did when we first bought our car!” Gary is honest, outgoing, and operates an excellent shop — not an easy find in NYC. This is the second time I’ve used their services. Gary, who is the owner and is very hands-on, explained everything that had to be done, provided an estimate and coordinated with the insurance company. I got my car back one day earlier than promised and in top shape. If I need body and collision work in the future, I’ll bring it to Marmin.

Very great service the car looks beautiful in addition to that their turnaround time to get their pears done was the quickest I have ever seen an auto body fix my car. I remember I took my car to auto body shop a few a while ago they took two weeks to fix a job that to be honest could only take maybe a few days. Gary did a very good job and this was very fast if I ever get into an accident again hopefully I do not I will definitely be bringing it back to him thank you so much

Gary was great! We brought 2 Subaru Outbacks in for various issues - one with extensive dents. Gary fixed all in a timely and efficient manner, both ahead of schedule and well within estimates. The convenience of dealing with Marmin is excellent. My choice for all maintenance and repairs.
