Matthew Bechard made my experience phenomenal! This was my first time bringing my vehicle to Land Rover. He helped me understand things from start to finish, he took the time to help me seek out the best options for my vehicle and what that would look like long term. Honestly it was just nice to have someone take the time and talk through things and it really helped ease my anxiety and worry. He was very thoughtful and thorough which really made a difference. I would like to preface that I considered in the past buying a car from this dealership and other JLR dealerships in the NYC area. Ultimately my experience was so negative that I purchased from a third party dealership about a year ago. If this is something you are considering, I'd say go for it. I did however recently go into this dealership for help on a simple technical matter regarding my Land Rover Defender 110. I was given attitude by the employees because I was purchased my car "third party." They tried to mislead me and then charge me an exorbitant amount of money for this service. I am glad I refused because I learned the next day it was something that you can call Land Rover Customer service and they'll do it for free. If they were decent people they could have just told me this and sent me on my merry way in under a minute. I am glad I did not fall for these scammers. I'll absolutely buy another Land Rover in my lifetime, but these people couldn't get my sale if they offered me a brand new car 90% off. Take your money elsewhere.

I purchased a 2020 Range Rover Sport from this dealership with approximately 16,000 miles on it. Upon delivery, the vehicle was dirty, and the side door panel fell off shortly afterward. Over the nearly two years that I owned the car, it was in the shop almost every other month. Eventually, I stopped bringing the vehicle to this dealership because the same issues were repeatedly returned to me as “fixed,” only for the problems to reoccur, requiring additional visits. Staff were often dismissive of my concerns and attributed the issues to the fact that Range Rovers are “notorious” for poor quality around 110,000 miles—despite my vehicle having far fewer miles at the time. When the engine ultimately failed, I contacted the dealership to see if there was any assistance or support available. Once again, my concerns were dismissed, even though I was able to provide documentation showing that the vehicle had consistently received all required scheduled maintenance. This was my first and will be my last Range Rover. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage others to consider brands such as Mercedes-Benz, where both vehicle reliability and customer service are far more professional and dependable.

I have been speaking with Javier (in service) and Issac (general manager) for a few weeks now but have had a horrible experience. I trusted Range Rover Manhattan with the repair work on my new Range Rover SE vehicle after they told me it would take 3 weeks. It has now been almost 5 weeks and although the vehicle is repaired they are refusing to let me collect the car. When I dropped off the car Javier assured me that he had a special relationship with Geico and I would not have to be involved with the insurance claim, that he would "handle everything" - Now I got involved and realize that the ball has been dropped. Not only do I need to cash a check from Geico myself and then turn around and write a check to the dealership but I also needed to coordinated with the Geico insurance adjuster to get the other two checks which were already supposed to be issued resent. I literally just got off the phone with the finance department at Range Rover Manhattan getting their TIN number for the insurance agency (something that Javier was supposed to handle) So what's left: I've done all the insurance work myself, I've made Range Rover Manhattan upwards of 4 grand on the repair job, and they still won't give me my car. What I would do in the future: NEVER GIVE MY BUSINESS TO THESE INCOMPETENT BROKERS AGAIN and instead go to the repair shop myself. If you fail at your fundamental job as a middle man then you are a detractor of value on this world.

This is the second time I had a recall with my Range Rover and Land Rover of Glen Cove said they still didn’t have a fix for my recalls and I called Land Rover of Manhattan and both times they took care of it right away. Thank you Catherine for your help.

We'd been servicing our 2022 Range here since we purchased it new. It's only ever been serviced, tires changed, etc at this location. Recently we relocated and needed to have the tires changed. Went to locate the wheel lock- not where it was supposed to be. I called the Manhattan service center and the representative sort of just shrugged it off like it happens and my only option is to drive 4 hours to a service center where they have a master or just sheer off the locks and have them replaced with normal lugs. No help, no solutions that are actually representative of the fact that the guys in the service dept forgot to put my wheel lock back where it belonged. Luxury prices for mediocre service.

I want to first start off with saying that in my past experiences dealing with Manhattan dealerships and their big over heads, you usually don’t get the best deals. In the past you would have to go to NJ or CT to get a good deal. So let me be the first to say, you dont need to anymore. You will get a very good deal without having to leave NYC. I was introduced to Isac Ashwal by a good friend Paul, who is from my exotic car club. I expressed to him, I buy a lot of car’s/suv’s and I need the best deal possible. He promised me that he has the right guy. I reached out to Isac who was very cool and down to earth. He made me feel comfortable and promised me we were going to beat anyone deal I saw. We spoke for a while on the phone and he assured me that he would give me a great deal and that he is in the business to move cars and not let them sit to maximize the profits. He then connected me with Pierre Noel, who was also cool and promised me to get this deal done and to make sure I was happy with the numbers. So after telling Pierre what I was looking for, within 24 hours he found the perfect spec for me with all the bells and whistles. After reviewing the sticker I remembered in my friends Range he has massage seats and guess what, that was the only thing missing ?. So, I went back to Pierre and told him it wasnt in his inventory but I found one in Boston. He said let me talk it over with Isac and I will get back to you. The next day he assured that I want that particular one and within 3 days it was at the dealership. So at this point, the dealer not only gave me a great deal, but they even went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I was happy and got what I wanted to where at that point I wouldn’t mind paying a little more because I got what I wanted. I know this was a long post but I wanted someone who has no clue and walking in blind to this dealership, know how special I felt leaving this dealership. No where else to look but at Manhattan Land Rover 5/5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had an excellent experience at Land Rover Manhattan. Fitz, my salesperson, was fantastic to work with—knowledgeable, professional, and never pushy. There were no high-pressure or sleazy sales tactics, which is rare in the car business. Jason, the finance manager, made the process smooth and stress-free. He was informative, easy to work with, and explained everything clearly. The gentleman who is the vehicle attendant—his customer service was world-class. Overall, Land Rover Manhattan was honest, straightforward, and customer-focused. Highly recommend.

So far we have had a great experience with Land Rover Manhattan. They made the whole buying experience really efficient and seamless. They have been very supportive in working out some of the hiccups associated with the new 7–seat Range Rover. Everyone we have worked with has been exceptionally kind and courteous.

This dealership really sucks. I bought a car there 6 yrs ago. Received two keys. I now discovered that one has never been set up. But since it is out of warranty they want $360 to do this, even though that should have been done at the point sale. No loyalty, but also stupid, because I will never buy from them again. Last time they serviced my car they forgot to add oil and I ran out driving to upstate NY. Had to go to the mechanic to tell me that! That service cost me well over $1,000. At least the dealership in Southampton NY wanted $280 for programming the key, even though I did not buy a car from them.

Horrible experience with the service department. I will not recommend anyone to service there vehicles. The customer service representative are extremely lazy and unpleasant. Unfortunately I am stuck with them another year to service my vehicle because of the maintenance package I purchase through the company when I purchased my vehicle at their location. There's never a service manager available to address any concerns. The person in charge of the loaner vehicle her name is Shelly is very incompetent of her position. Every time I reserve a large size vehicle for loaner equal to the vehicle I'm bringing in for service she will provide me a smaller vehicle. Everytime I have brought my vehicle for service there's always new service advisor working. The only pleasant people are the car attendants who takes the car .

This is a great dealership with great leadership! I bought a 2020 HSE from Land Rover Manhattan about a year ago, and recently discovered there had been a misunderstanding regarding the vehicle. Buying a car can be stressful, and the worst fear is running into issues after the sale with no one willing to help. That was absolutely not the case here. Mr. Isaac Ashwal, the general manager, personally took the time to communicate with me one on one and handled everything with professionalism, integrity, and care. He is not only a great leader but also a perfect example of what true customer service looks like. At one point during our conversation, I told him, “You must be incredibly busy running such a large dealership. I really appreciate you taking the time to help me.” He replied, “Whenever a customer has an issue, it is always better to overly communicate than under communicate.” That stuck with me. They may sell hundreds of cars each year, but Isaac understands that for each customer, their vehicle is a major investment that matters deeply. If you are looking to buy a car, I highly recommend Land Rover Manhattan. You can trust them. They will go above and beyond. No question about it.

I can't speak enough of this dealership. The customer service was excellent. From the moment my wife and I stepped in the dealership we were treated so warmly. We were greeted by Damien who was an exceptional salesman and was very friendly. He was not pushy at all and was able to answer all our questions. I left the dealership that day with a smile on my face after purchasing my dream Range Rover. Damien made the process extremely smooth and memorable. The staff was very kind and hospitable. I believe I purchased the very last Land Rover Convertible. I love the care but there were definitely some learning curves with maintaining the vehicle. Manhattan JLR were amazingly supportive both financially and with service. I am very appreciative!!!!!

Very very poor sales & customer service overall. James the sales guy sold me a vehicle that had issues. When trying to reach James after the purchase he hides and doesnt return my calls or emails. Vehicle went back to get service and sat for a whole week+ and got nothing done. Not even a diagnostic to see what the problem is. Was promised a loaner i even left Shelly a message. She never returned not one phone call, i came in to pick up my vehicle and was there roughly 45mins to a hour and the whole time Shelly was in her cell phone and just talking and laugh with other employees. Not once did she say sorry for not returning your call or anything in that nature. Cristian my service advisor never called me at any point in time to tell me whats going on with the car. I literally just went in and told them to give me my vehicle. No one had anything to say. Not even a good morning, this will be my last time purchasing and doing service at this dealership. No one cares, everyone just does what they want. The service manager is a joke, i was told by another employee the service here is the complete worst. Now i know going forward to never come here again. They were fast to take my $10,000 tho but not even a ounce of effort to fix my vehicle that i bought not even a week ago from them which i feel they knew had issues before. It has more then 27 codes, check engine light and suspension is shot. Thanks for nothing! I wouldnt buy or service at this dealership. Wish i could rate less then 1 star. Update: Shelly felt the need to call me about this review, not even to mention about the loaner vehicle or apologize for not returning my call. Her last words were “Well now I know how to deal with you”. Smh, bad for business.

Such a beautiful, clean, and friendly dealership! Picking up my new car was so easy, Isaac and Robert had everything ready for me to sign and drive my brand new Defender home! Robert was an amazing salesperson and helped me with any and all questions I had, and make sure to check in with me the days after I took my vehicle home! I couldn’t recommend this this dealership enough! I’m on my 3rd car with Land Rover Manhattan and I know exactly where I’ll be going back for my next one !

Very bad experience with car construction, honesty of service rep, competency of office. New evoque has an issue with the sunroof making excessive noise due to what seems to be some mistake/misalignment in assembly. These things happen, I thought. When I brought it in, they told me it was fixed the next day. Not 5 minutes away from the dealership, the problem was back. I know the technician didn't do any checking, assuming they did anything to fix it at all. When I brought it back, the service rep, Nelson, told me it would be a few days. I needed a loaner due to covid risks from public transportation. He gave me several different stories, including telling me a loaner was available, confirming it was available as I was driving there, having me come to the dealership, just to be told there was no loaner. I don't think there ever was one, but he wanted to get me in so they could deal with the vehicle and not have their boss asking questions about the complaint. I could be wrong, but subsequent events didn't contradict that opinion. I took an uber home. 3 days later (not able to safely grocery shop or take care of other things, which I bought a car to be able to do), after getting several different excuses about loaners, which I now think were lies, I finally had to tell them to just give the car back, unrepaired. Nelson was a horrible communicator. I never got anything from him unless I chased him down and threatened to escalate issues to his boss. If the vehicle were ½ the price, I would expect this level of build quality and service professionalism. This was a "dream car" purchase made much less of a dream now, because of poor standards and practices. I still hope that the car can be repaired properly at a different dealership, but I definitely won't work with the Manhattan dealership unless I have to. And, among the choices at this price point, if I knew then what I know now, I'd try another vehicle.
