I’ve tried other driving schools but DriveTrain and Aubrey are by far the best. Aubrey prepared me for my road test which I passed after prior failed attempts. He also invested in teaching me to drive safely beyond just passing the road test. I highly recommend this school.

I had a great experience with Drivetrain Drive School, especially with Aubrey! I had taken classes at another school before and ended up failing my road test. After a few lessons with Aubrey, I passed! He’s a really effective teacher. Super clear and helpful, but also really encouraging and never mean or stressful. I realized my old school wasn’t actually teaching me much, but Aubrey made everything make sense. If you want to actually learn how to drive and pass your road test, this is the place to go.

My little brother took and passed the exam nearly 2 months ago. He never received the certificate for passing and is unable to apply at the DMV until he has the certificate in his possession. My brother has been in contact with Aubrey about a dozen times and every time he gets the same answer “the certification isn’t ready yet”. I don’t know what type of scam this business is running. My brother has fully paid for this and has not received his final product. Should my brother receive his certification then I will update this review. But waiting nearly 2 months for a certification that can be printed is absurd.

Aubrey was a consummate professional throughout the entire process, bringing me from zero driving experience to passing the road test in a short amount of time. He is pleasant to spend time with, and it is easy to schedule lessons via text.

Aubry was really really good. As a foreign experienced driver, I had accumulated many bad habits and in a couple of sessions, Aubry corrected them and coached me on how to pass the road test. Completely delivered on the promise. Highly recommend.

Amazing instruction and lessons focused on getting you that license while also teaching you how to drive. When I started I thought I was ready but would’ve ended up unaliving someone on the road… Now, I can drive comfortably and passed easily. Cannot recommend enough. Do you want your license? Fantastic experience! Aubrey made me feel very comfortable while driving and gave constructive criticism without being harsh. Very friendly temperament and easy going. He was very patient with me throughout our lessons and possessed a vast amount of knowledge on the subject. I passed my road test thanks to him. He is the guy you want to take lessons with.

I passed!! Passed first time of the ‘actual’ test (long story but technically second time, first time I forgot my corrective lenses and could not take the test). Aubrey is super patient, knowledgeable, and a great teacher. He is always very helpful when I have questions. Not only did I passed, now i became confident in driving as well, can’t wait to rent a car and go on some weekend trips to upstate!!

I can't say enough about how smart Aubrey is. Believe it or not there is a talent to being a driving instructor and he has it. I have studied with them all. I have my license but haven't driven in years so I decided to take with some others and it's not that they weren't good, it's just that Aubrey makes me feel confident in sticky situations and he explains exactly what I did wrong, and what I did right. This is the person who will get you over the hump. He doesn't sugar coat things and will tell you when you need to leave the nest and when you need to work at it. You will be in good hands.

Aubrey was fantastic! I had never driven before and was super nervous about doing so in in the city. Not only was he a great teacher on the technical stuff required to pass the exam, but he was also very good at teaching the practical day to day aspects - and his calm, friendly demeanor really helped as well in getting me through from having never driven before to passing the driving test in NY.

Aubrey is a highly knowledgeable instructor who helped me pass my driving test in a short timeframe. As an expat from the UK moving to the States he showed me the differences and things to look out for when driving in the US as well as having availability for lessons on my schedule. Cannot recommend Aubrey as an instructor enough.

Aubrey was an amazing instructor! Passed my driving test on the 1st attempt. Driving lesson with him was always fun and relax. He will share some driving tips and insights. He will constantly remind me to drive safely. On the day of the driving test, he will give a quick walkthrough before arriving at the driving test location.

I began taking lessons as a complete beginner and as an international student. Aubrey was very helpful and knowledgeable on the administrative side of things, and a very patient and experienced instructor. He teaches with the best interest of his students in mind. I just passed the road test on my first try yesterday!

Aubrey is a great instructor! The 5 hour class is made entertaining and interesting with stories and anecdotes to help student drivers remember the material. Aubrey helped me from having no prior driving experience to passing the road test on my first try! He taught me everything I needed to know and was very patient and respectful. He goes above and beyond with his services such as picking you up and helping you schedule the road test and he taught me how to drive on highways which really helped my confidence. Aubrey was so nice during all of my classes and super patient with new drivers. I didn’t even know how to ride a bike before, but now I officially have my license! Honestly, the tips that he gave were super useful and definitely are going to help you with your test or just keep you safe while daily driving! I did the 5 hour course, rented a car for my driving test and did 90 minutes instruction before my test. I did all of these with Aubrey and it was well worth it. As an instructor, Aubrey was patient and informative. I was really nervous before my test and Aubrey calmed me with his humor and knowledge. And, I passed my test. Highly recommend this service.
