I had work done s couple of times there with my Kawasaki Ninja and there mechanic are pretty discent but as there prices too expensive, which I regret not buying the parts my self and done it, they sucker me a couple of times with the prices that I will make them my last choice

Stopped in from out of town. Guys were friendly and helpful. Got me the helmet I needed for my girlfriend. Broke down in the city a few weeks later and was charged a super ridiculous price for a tow then charged for a battery I didn't need when all that was wrong was a simple solenoid. All said and done was charged over $1,000 completely ridiculous and the battery went dead in less than a year.

First time rider here. Johnathan was super helpful in choosing a helmet and gloves for me.

The staff was really nice, took the time to find the perfect size helmet for me and great price

Sadly I cannot recommend this place. I was treated very poorly there last week, I have been 3 times over about 8 years, never had a good experience there. This is the last time.

Just picked up a helmet for dirt cheap. They had a great range of helmets and cycle gear. Chris was very attentive and didn’t push for me to spend a ton of money. Even though I wanted to drop 5-800 hundred. I know I will be returning soon for a jacket and a proper helmet. Highly recommend this place

Awesome place and I highly recommend for anyone in Manhattan! The guys there were really nice and knowledgeable and a huge help getting me my first helmet!

The team at Cycle Therapy is awesome. Chris & JT helped get my bike back on the road after I broke my motor mount & were super transparent with all costs & what the bike actually needed. They also turned around a fix for my instrument cluster in a day, which was so appreciated before a long weekend. Would highly recommend these guys for any work you need done on your bike. Thanks, guys!

Don’t think i will ever go back there for any type of repairs, they charged me $120 to put a plug on my tire. I would of been better off, putting the plug myself at home, only reason I went there is because i didn’t have my patch kit on me, from that day forth i always make sure i carry my tire patch kit and battery operated pump. I could understand maybe $40 or $50 but dam $120 for a plug? Other shops that are close to me said they charge allot less for exact same work. On top of that i had to leave the bike there overnight pay for cab to go back home and another cab the next day to pick it up. And the patch was still leaking, bought another new tire from online and went to another place to get it installed, the installation at the other place charged me only $60 to put the new tire on, there is more work involved installing a new tired as opposed to putting a push and pull mushroom plug. The other shop will be my new go to place for all repairs. Cycle therapy just lost a valuable possible customer due to there over charging. Read all the one star reviews before going there.

Love this place.... because I was so frustrated with my local New Jersey dealer's service department, I decided to try out Cycle Therapy.
I was so well teared I have been back several times with a couple of my bikes.
Most recently to have the mount and balance tires on My son's 2008 V Star 1100.
Guys are professional and tell you like it is.Aug 23, 2025 -
I was saved by cycle Therapy when my klr650 was given back to me in a dangerous manner by another shop rob and Chris explained everything step by step leaving nothing out as it pretained to the needed service brought back to manufacturer specifications which created a bond of genuine trust so much so I wound up purchasing my now ktm 390 adventure 2021 from cycle Therapy, I also brought my honda grom to have a new clutch installed awesome and superb finishing job rides wonderful thank you again cycleTherapy (ktm) which has been added to my collection will as all my bikes will be brought to cycle Therapy for all future maintenance. Cycle Therapy came Highly recommend with no where to turn and now with my personal experience as an added approval. Thank you cycle Therapy for truly caring with many more years of business for us riders all over.

Awesome costumer service , the showroom is widely diverse and vast.
very knowledgeable people they know their stuff !
I went there to buy my first motorcycle, the transaction was smooth and quick.
Thank you fellas.Aug 12, 2025 -
My first experience with Cycle Therapy was rather discouraging. I ordered expensive rotors over the phone without really looking at my bike, that’s on me. I did explain I had a leaking plug in my rear tire, that my brake fluid was black and I needed new brake pads too. JT sends me to Chris, Chris send me back to him and I left without getting the parts or maintenance scheduled. I’m visiting the city, trying to get back home and these guys let me ride away in bad shape. It’s a decent local shop in Harlem, what did I do or say that pissed Yall of so bad? And if it wasn’t me then you just suck at your job.

Very knowledgeable, helpful and patient employees there. Helped me find my size, shop around for things in my budget and alternatives. Been coming here for years and wouldn’t trade them for anyone else.

Counter guy Jonathan was super helpful- happy to geek out with my husband, patient explaining my helmet to me (a newbie).
Got the inspection done quickly! Glad this place is here.May 12, 2025 -
Very friendly, great service. Called them and they were available imediately. Fixed my Vespa while I waited. Extracted broken thread part of mirror from handlebar and replaced with new mirror . Great quality of work and reasonable fee. Nice and clean place with large shop and showroom with motorcycles.

Fantastic one stop shop. Randomly I was told about this spot for motorcycle gear I was looking for modular helmets.
What’s 30 minutes before closing I Rollin like a bat out of Hell And lots of questions.
Chris was informative professional and totally pointed me in the right direction highly highly recommend. New to the motorcycle world so glad I found the spotDec 24, 2024 -
I really like working with these guys, (Chris, Ace, and the whole team). I picked up a GSXR 1000 from here, and they always have a good selection on gear and accessories.

I’ve been coming here for years. These guys are great. The mechanics shop downstairs is spotless and the mechanics are meticulous and knowledgeable. The owner rides all the bikes his team works on before they go out the door. That says a lot about their attention to detail. This place is legit. Don’t be a jerk and you’ll get treated well.

I needed to get my bike inspected, but my usual place no longer offers inspections, and the nearest alternative required an appointment, which is incredibly inconvenient with my unpredictable schedule. So, I decided to give Cycle Therapy a try. They didn’t require appointments, which was a relief. However, they charge $6 upfront, so once you pay, you're committed.
The gentleman at the counter initially told me I’d have to wait 25 minutes, but I ended up waiting 40. I thought, "Okay, whatever, as long as I get this over with." When my bike was finally inspected, I noticed the inspector was extremely thorough—more meticulous than anyone I’d encountered before. I was shocked when it didn’t pass inspection.
The issues? My number plate light wasn’t working, which I knew about, but I didn’t realize it would be a problem. And to my surprise, half the LEDs on the rear left turn signal were out. Despite this setback, I was impressed with the inspector, Ace. He seemed calm, intelligent, and took the time to explain everything clearly. He reassured me that the bike was otherwise in good condition, aside from the light issue. I left determined to fix the lights and come back.
After installing a new taillight unit myself, I discovered my chain needed replacing—one link was completely dead, causing uneven tension. This delayed my return to Cycle Therapy for re-inspection by 20 days and added 173 miles to my odometer while I waited for the new chain and sprockets. Once everything was sorted, I returned to Cycle Therapy.
Upon arrival, Ace asked if I could come back in half an hour because he was busy and hadn’t had lunch yet. I chose to wait since I live far away. This time, the inspection was quick—just ten minutes—but then I was hit with another blow: the steering bearing needed replacing. Three weeks earlier, there had been no problems, and I had only ridden 173 miles since the last inspection!
When I asked for an explanation, Ace shrugged and said he wasn’t a technician, referring me to another guy who quoted me $50 for the part and over $300 for labor. After just 173 miles, my steering bearings were suddenly deemed unsafe? It was incredibly frustrating.
Not being a technician myself, I inspected the steering but found nothing wrong. Still unsure, I took the bike to my regular mechanic for a second opinion. He didn’t find any issues and assured me the bike was safe to ride. My mechanic would’ve been more than happy to find problems so I’d pay him to fix them, but he found nothing amiss.
Needless to say, I won’t be returning to Cycle Therapy. I’m frustrated by the experience, especially after the initial favorable impression. I’ll be sure to share my experience with my riding friends. Why do some shops operate this way? Is it really worth trying to make extra money by inventing unnecessary problems and ruining their reputation in the process?
This is the reply to the owner's response:
It seems there's been a misunderstanding. Either I'm being confused with another customer (which is understandable but concerning), or there's an attempt to undermine my credibility, which I truly hope isn't the case.
I generally don't write reviews; if I'm dissatisfied with a service, I simply don't return. However, my experience compelled me to express my frustration. Please take a moment to re-read my review and try to recall my visits. I’ve only been to your shop twice—most recently today, September 4th—not three times as you mentioned.
I never argued about the plate light. I admitted that it needed to be fixed, and that was fair. In fact, that’s why I returned for the reinspection. If there had been an issue on my part, I would have acknowledged it, which is why I left without any bad feelings—I had a good impression of you at the time.
Additionally, I’ve never used any sort of remote control, and I ride a Yamaha, not a GSXR. So, everything that you mentioned in your response is completely inaccurate. Again, I hope you're just confusing me with someone else.Sep 04, 2024 -
Excellent shop. Chris was super friendly, patient, and thorough when diagnosing my bike. He went above and beyond to make sure my bike was taken care of and repaired quickly. Clearly very knowledgeable and experienced. Price was very reasonable and they let me keep my bike at the shop for a few extra days while I was out of town.

Cycle therapy went above and beyond to keep me happy! I went there to purchase a helmet and told them I haven't bought my bike yet and they assured me that if I didn't purchase the bike then I could bring my helmet back for a full refund, which they don't do normally. When I came back they took care of me with no questions asked. Then on a second occasion I made it to the store just as they were closing the gate and they still let me in and stayed open for an extra 45 minutes until I found the perfect helmet to match my bike. This place is amazing! I will definitely be a returning customer and refer my friends and family to them for any motorcycle related purchases.

I can highly recommend Cycletherapy for any rider that needs to have their motorcycle serviced. I have a 1998 Triumph Adventurer. I’ve tried Triumph Motorcycle Dealers & Service in the past, but because the bike is so old, they outright lied to me about what is happening to the bike, told me the problem couldn’t be fixed or simply (and honestly) told me they won’t service the bike because their trained personal are not qualified to work on it. Cycletherapy has always been able to service my Triumph. They are professional and honest. And they’ve been in business a long time. I’ve been using them for decades. Kudos to Chris, the service manager. He is excellent and very knowledgeable.

Very satisfied with this shop. They are attentive and very helpful and I am definitely going to be giving them my business again. I would definitely recommend this store.

I was in the market for a second bike and Cycle Therapy had the BMW F800R I had been looking around for. From the very first conversation I had with Ace, he was very polite and transparent about every detail involved if I were to purchase the bike from them. He was patient and answered all my questions and I appreciated that he was also direct and honest when he couldn't answer them. I had no prior experience dealing with Cycle Therapy and am happy to report that Ace honored the price that was advertised, with no B.S. and no sales pitch.
The shop has many current up to date gear and models of helmets. I was super happy to get a brand new white Icon Airflite helmet that I had been eyeing for a while, to match the bike. I was surprised that the prices were as amazing as the lowest prices I had seen online.
As for the vibe of the place, Chris, the service manager is a cool dude and I enjoyed chopping it up with him about bikes and food. Marcos is a wonderful and attentive sales associate who kept in communication about the face shield I had ordered. Overall, I would definitely recommend this shop and plan to return for more gear as the riding season gets closer.Feb 12, 2021 -
I can not recommend these guys enough. Firstly, they are incredibly honest and straightforward, no BS or pressure. Secondly, the are extremely helpful & knowledgeable. It doesn’t hurt that they have super competitive pricing to boot. I’m a fan.
