What clients say about Chase Bank in New York (NY)
This Chase bank doesn’t seem to care too much about its customers because it could not be bothered to update their ATM hours on their website to ‘not 24 hours’ (I didn’t see if their Google branch location says it because the website should be the authority of choice… if it says it, a customer likely submitted an appeal to Google to update, which, if the case, supports my assertion that this bank doesn’t really prioritize customer). I went to this ATM at 12:44 AM and my Chase card did not gain me entry into the branch ATMs. I inserted and I tapped my card. The red light on the card Reader indicated the device had been locked, preventing after hours access.
I just went into the bank to do a wire transfer, becuase I have the closing of my house, and they told me that I have to wait 45 to 60 minutes to do a simople wire transfer, otherwise to go to another branch. That is unacceptable!!! I have a Sapphire account with more than 100K in my checking and I am treated this way??!?!?! They are suppose to help me, according to Chase policies. They cannot send you away, nor tell you to wait 45 to 60 mintes for a simple wire. They are suppose to accomodate you and help you. It is a shame how the company allows this bad behavior and also how these type of bankers can still work in the bank. I am expecting a big check from the sale of my house, I am not going to Chase, the service is very bad and NO ONE does their job, nor the manager, nor the bankers, I was sent away and you don't do it with your clients, especially when the client is a former Private Banker at Chase. Do your job, treat your clients the right way, Do the right thing for your clients., in other words DO YOUR JOB!

Tim, one of their wealth team mgrs, was extremely rude and dismissive. There are nicer ways to tell someone “we only do this for Wealth Mgmt customers”, vs attack someone for not being a client. Why am I not a client with you? Take a guess. Avoid this branch.
I love Chase bank, but this office has terrible customer service, I do not recommend using it. I had an appointment scheduled with Betty Chan for 4.30-5pm. I came at 4.40pm and was told that she took another client. Waited for 20 more minutes and spoke with Rafid (manager on duty), but I still was not helped and was only blamed for being late. Unfortunately, I had to leave and find another place for more reliable service.

I visited this exact branch today 05/14/2024 , i was greeted at the door by the person with whom i had an appointment , the place has an excellent atmosphere of great hospitality in form of greetings and smiles , wether entering the facility or leaving it.
The comments weren’t very motivating when i read them but i still decided to try this branch.
I received service from CARLA JIMENEZ , and she was excellent, she assisted me in opening a checking account , applying for a credit card , and offered me the best service i could have ever asked for.
An excellent person with excellent manners and customer service, explained everything and showed excellent skills of communication and knowledge.
Great person , great banker and a very good communicator.
Mind you the branch was 45 minutes away from my home, and there’s another branch 5 minutes away from me , but still i took the adventure and would definitely take the time to do it again.
Definitely recommend it .

I just opened a credit account at this branch! Customer service is amazing , everyone is friendly Shotout to Kristian Goljke he was super helpful and very professional! Definitely my favorite Chase branch
All around pleasant experience at this Chase branch. I was greeted at entrance by Kathy who was extremely helpful and takes customer service seriously. Kathy set me up with Keith to resolve my account issues quickly. I’ve been a Chase customer for over 10 years and it’s because of employees like Kathy and Keith. 👍
I used to work for Chase and had a Premium Account with the bank in the past. As a company, it’s a good bank, but this location gave me the worst customer experience I’ve ever come across. My problem wasn’t just that they had no idea what to do when someone loses keys to their safety box. It was how they dealt with the issue along the way. For example, as they were figuring it out, I had to fill out and notarize a special form, which was lost in the mail the 1st time I sent it. When they finally got the form on the 2nd try, they started to realize I also owe fees (not mentioned in the beginning and it would have obviously been easier for me to mail them a check with the form). The amount of fees varied depending on the employee I would speak to, and I am still trying to get them to give me the exact amount and directions on how to pay. I had to work with 3 people, 2 of them managers (including a Branch Manager). Each time I talk to a new person, it was clear that the prior person did not update the manager on my situation, and in general information seemed to get lost when folks would speak to each other (for example, the manager had no clue my form was lost the 1st time).
I’d use another branch if you can.
I went to Genti to open a new checking's account with direct deposit, I was told by him that I couldn't open a new account because there was an error with my information and the system. He also mention that banks talks to each other. (what that means?) __I was not exact sure. If he didn't know what he was doing he should have offer to let me speak to the manager, he also stated that I needed a 2nd Identification to open an account, when I have friends whom has open Checking account with just an High School Identification. I felt that I wasn't disrespected, just because I was not a private client. he had many excuses for not to open my account this is a big major corporation, and I should have not been treated like that. Was it because I looked like a kid(I'm 25years old) or because I'm Hispanic not sure!, I felt very dissatisfied with his service, and discriminated. I walked out and walked 3 block over to the other Chase. I was greeted as entered and open my account with no problem and just 1 identification.
