This shop has a few of absolutely everything that you could ever need for a home or a restaurant kitchen. If they don’t have it at Hung Chong, I’m not sure if it exists.

They have ceramic Rooster bowls amongst all the other items needed for a restaurant or home. Large selection of woks. And clay pots for making claypot rice. Good stuff.

Staff was very friendly, and prices were about 20-40% lower than what I've seen for similar or equivalent items in shops around the area. Will be going back to grab other kitchen essentials - they have pretty much everything. Of note, it is cash only.

heaven on earth for old school chinese restaurant ephemera, plastic spoons and plates and little silvery slithers for baking which i will use for ink and water colours, all the cleavers you could dream of, beautiful knives and steamers and thermos, glorious shop with really friendly staff xx

This is often my first stop for cooking tools. Although the inventory leans a bit toward Asian style cooking, there's plenty of Western type equipment as well. Pricing is very fair. Staff is very nice.

The woman who helped me purchase a carbon steel wok for home cooking was very friendly and helpful. She even gave me an instruction sheet on how to season my wok so it doesn’t rust. The prices were excellent and I’d definitely recommend it to others looking for kitchen supplies.

Great selection but not the prices I would hope for in Chinatown. Many things can be bought for the same price or less on Amazon. There are some good deals to found here though, you just have to look. Also, cash only.

Buyer beware. If you return it, unused in pristine condition they will change you a 20% fee. I guess it's a restocking fee but my item was clearly 15 feet from the check out counter so how you can justify that is? Is this policy posted? Yes, it is so shame on me that the sign is on a 8x11 sheet of paper written in Chinese and English. There is another shop on Grand Street that may be more consumer friendly.
