No fitting room so it’s a total waste of time as I don’t buy clothes without trying them on.
Mar 02, 2026 -
Ive been here a few times and have always found good things here. Yes, it is mainly clothes (no books, sadly), but I feel like it is clean and organized. I plan on going back here. :)
Feb 08, 2026 -
Extremely Rude and the security Guard who mentioned below closes the store over 10 minute prior to closing and only lets specific people in when he wants to. Come in to make a complaint to manager said they close the store at 6.55pm when I come before that and didn't want to listen or resolve issues and the security guard come interjected in our conversation and stated harassing me I started recording as this was discraseful behavior and spoke to different Goodwill manager who gave me corporate information and told me they wrong cannot close their store early and should newer be acting this way. Both Manager and security guard should be let go for the distressful behavior and I will be sending video to corporate and they can check their store cameras as well.

I came here to donate clothes that Buffalo Exchange wouldn’t buy from me. I honestly like the selection of clothes here at Goodwill than at the Buffalo Exchange. It seems like many people come here to donate after such rejection. I like that there’s a mix of good basics and fashionable pieces here, and not just trending/overwhelming nonsense. Despite most thrift prices going up in recent years, I would say this store prices most things fairly. I bought a vertical striped grey Calvin Klein button down in really good condition. It was a steal to me at $7.99, and it wasn’t even something I had to dig for. It was just sitting on the end of a rack (though I don’t mind the digging). I also like that clothes are sorted by type and color - I read a review that said they didn’t like that it wasn’t sorted by size. I discovered that there’s a kind of “rewards” program here, and discount on weekends if you’re a student. Like other Goodwills there’s also a specific color tag of the day, which probably indicates that these items are discounted. Overall 4 stars because I wish there were more accessories, household items, books, etc.

Store selection is limited. For men if your looking for 38 and up in jeans it aint happening. they also organize their clothing by color not size so your forced to go through every single rack to find out they dont have your size very annoying. Also I get that its manhattan but trying to charge retail or close to retail for items is absolutely outrageous !!!

Staff at this store are remarkable! The prices here are great in comparison to other thrift stores in the city and the store is nicely organized. The only downside is there are no fitting rooms, but overall I would recommend this place to go on a thrifting trip.
Dec 22, 2025 -
One of the only affordable and reasonably priced thrift stores in the city! I got a pair a Gap jeans new with tags for 10 dollars and another pair for 5 dollars. Every so often a different color tag will have an additional percentage discount. Knocked a star off because when I went the fitting rooms were closed off, it’s crucial to be able to try items on since everything is final sale :/
Aug 25, 2025 -
terrible service. I wanted to buy shoes and asked the employee to give me a second sneaker, to which she answered ok and came back 3 minutes later saying that she did not find it. I am sure that she did not even looking for it. I am offended that I was considered an unnecessary buyer and did not try to find a second sneaker for me and sell them to me.
Aug 20, 2025 -
Overall, a good thrift store in Manhattan - incredible prices for the brands they carry here. Unfortunately, the dressing rooms were out of service so be prepared to try on your items out in the open. Also, the front of the store smells a little like urine.
Aug 15, 2025 -
Poor customer service. Would not help find pricing of item after the tag had fallen off. So they refused to sell me the product even though I had spent time to find it. I understand if that’s the policy but they were also extremely rude towards my questions
Aug 10, 2025 -
So expensive! what is good Goodwill ??? I mean I remember the times when the prices are affordable. Id prefer to go tj maxx or marshalls instead of coming to goodwill now.

My favorite thrift in the entire city! Curated well and very organized! Expect to see brands like Lulu Lemon, reformation, Cos, lots of Zara, etc Many designer jeans as well.. I also snagged some Anthropologie, favorite daughter, & theory.

One of my favorite locations to go to when Goodwill is involved. This location has the $2 Tuesdays and they have one color. That's $2 and it's a great deal.
Jun 01, 2025 -
Nothing is sorted by size, just color. It's impossible to find anything in the sea of smalls and mediums. Almost everything is old navy, zara, h&m, or and priced pretty much what you would pay new. Or its shien and costs double used. Don't bother

I went just for checking my curiosity lol who decorated this store?! Was really quick visit but I was amazed about it! Soo cute and great looking job!! I don’t know if is true but people told me that sundays one dólar items?! Can someone confirm me? I def will go again

This location of Goodwill, situated off of W 25th Street in Chelsea, is a great spot to drop donations if you’re near Midtown Manhattan!! The first time I popped-in, I was really pleased. The space was bright, clean, and seemingly well-kept. The staff at this location are really kind as well!!
Feb 18, 2025 -
I visit this place once a month to donate. Usually the crowd is big. The price tag on the items is reasonable. The best thing is that Sunday discount!!!! 1 $ for certain color!!! Shop there for great surprises--new never used items.

I went here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. They had a great selection of women’s clothes and accessories. Everything was organized and clean, employees were helpful and prices were fair (Maybe a little pricey for a thrift store but then again…what thrift store isn’t nowadays). Much better than other Goodwill stores that I’ve been to. Would definitely recommend stopping by if you enjoy thrifting and are on the hunt for a good bargain.

would give 0 stars if i could. “security guard” at the door was EXTREMELY rude for literally no reason. there were people in the store still shopping, i made it before the closing time. this man refused to let me into the store & even had an exchange with me putting his finger in my face. i said “there’s people in the store” , he continued to be rude. don’t waste your time visiting this location. i’ll be following through with their management to ensure there’s a solution, because there is no need to be rude to people at a THRIFT STORE.

I have been to many Goodwills in NY, NJ, and PA, unfortunately this one is a miss. For being in a prime NYC location, the selection of women's clothes is mediocre. I expected to find a few brand names not Shein. The men's section is a 6 foot wall of dreary button ups you can get brand new for a few dollars more. If you skip this location you aren't missing anything. I would have given this location 3-stars because it is organized and "somewhat" color coded, BUT I have a suggestion for their employee Aileen, hence 2-Stars are given... Aileen, I understand it is hard to live and work in NYC where the hustle and bustle can overwhelm even the mightiest of human beings, but I am certain a class in Customer Service is in order. For clarification when the fitting room is closed, you should tell the customers that have already been waiting in line, "Hi, the fitting room is closed" not look at the customers and gester a "cut-off", or "you're done" movement with your hand at your neck, and when they speak to you, you should respond. I hope this helps you get a better employee to customer experience. (For the record, this is something I witnessed while waiting on the line, and when someone said to her politely that they had been waiting for a while, she did not bother to respond to them.)

Cleaner than other Goodwill's I've been to. Prices are fair. No fitting room. Some staff are really friendly some are rude. We asked a staff member where the carts were and he even went and got one for us, which was very kind, another would budge past us without saying excuse me to rerack items. I understand the staff need to work but there is no need to be rude.

Well organized and spacious. Though not well stocked. And the security guard yelling at a customer to move more quickly, didn't help. For a better experience visit The Housing Works. A block away in distance but a delightful gem to encounter. They're both inexpensive, take donations and are tax deductible when you donate

I didn't spend a lot of time here, but the space is clean, well organized, and not overwhelming. It's nicely decorated, very small- but that's to be expected for the location. As other reviews have stated, there are more clothes here than anything. I did look at a few prices here and there and they seemed reasonable. I'm likely to return and dig in when I have more time in the future!

One of my favorite shops in NYC. Has hidden gems. Update* Still one of my favorite thrift shops in NYC but the prices have gotten out of control for some items. Like I don't care if it was a higher priced ticket item originally if it's obviously really worn out and has pills on the fabric. Even the shoes are over priced now. It's like they are trying to compete with the online resale market but don't actually monitor the going rates to be able to realize that they are over pricing items. There's still some gems but you have to work more to find them and then hope that it is actually in your size (they color coordinate everything but not by size) and hope it is reasonably priced.

It's a good store, but they only sell clothes. On the one on 14th street they also have kitchen. Utensils

Really like the way the goodwill is organized. There is a section for more expensive items for people who can afford thrift stores for fashion choices. While there is the general area where people who need the lower-priced items can afford them. The system here is a feasible solution we see where thrift stores that usually serve people in need of lower-priced items are no longer able to afford thrifting because the clothes are marked up due to the demand on thrifting and the rise in thrifting as a fashion choice. Good system!

Bought an Express dress that looked like new for $12 and spotted two Bebe dresses with tags still on valued at around $200. NICE. Pleasant, helpful staff. Pretty clean and well organized, with a nice selection for women's clothing (probably less so for men, shoes / accessories or home goods though). One dressing room was closed when I went (4/16) so there was a long wait, but who cares if you're not that busy. For donation - super easy. Came with three bags which I thought was going to be annoying to haul around to some drop off area but the cashier immediately came to help, took them and gave us a receipt all within maybe 2min. Loved the efficiency enough to stick around and shop. Nicer than the other Goodwills in Manhattan, in my opinion.
