I’ve lived all over Manhattan and nothing has held up to my experience at AVA. Everyone who works here is genuinely so nice and helpful. The building is incredibly organized and the maintenance folks are awesome (shoutout to Malcolm!)

Cameron was absolutely fantastic. After my electrical box malfunctioned and caused flooding, he handled everything quickly and thoroughly. He was kind, professional, and made the entire process stress-free. Highly recommend!

My husband and I were looking for an apartment for my 89 year-old mother in law close to our apartment. We worked with Talia Watkins who was fantastic in helping us select an apartment that would meet her needs. The entire staff was supportive of my mother in law while she lived at Ava. When my mother in law needed additional care and it was time for a nursing home, we engaged again with Talia who was supportive and helpful throughout the move-out process. We are thankful for her kindness and wonderful attitude which lessened the stress during a very difficult time.

I’ve lived at AVA West Chelsea for the past 10 years, and it truly feels like home—largely because of the people who take care of this building every day. Arta on the maintenance team is amazing. She keeps the lobby and entry area spotless—vacuuming, cleaning, and always staying on top of things—yet still takes time to greet residents with genuine warmth. You can tell she takes pride in her work. Cameron also deserves a big thank you. He’s attentive, resolves issues quickly, and always approaches everything with a calm, respectful demeanor. It’s reassuring to know he’s around. And a huge shout-out to the concierge team, especially Chris and Joseph. They’re consistently kind and welcoming—wishing me a great day when I’m heading out, and greeting me with a smile when I come back tired from work. That little moment of friendliness makes a bigger difference than people realize. Overall, this is a clean, well-maintained building where I feel safe and happy to live. I’m grateful to be part of this community and to call it home? Chef's Kiss!

AVA High Line is the longest Avalon apartment we’ve stayed with (previously with AVA DoBro and Avalon Riverview North), and AVA High Line really feels like a home to us, all thanks to the great team in front of and behind the scene! The concierge team are always so welcoming and professional, shout out to the confident Gustavo, caring Darrell, enthusiastic Javier, cheerful Joseph, and calming Chris G. The maintenance team are so responsive and helpful, special thanks to the reliable Cameron who keeps our unit in such good shapes. We also want to thank Susi B for guiding us through our early years here and appreciate all her admin support. We hope to continue staying with AVA High Line, and I highly recommend this apartment to anyone who is looking for a warm and comfortable place to live in.

Location is super convenient, yet away from all the chaos. Management and maintenance are always responsive. The concierge team is helpful and friendly (special shout-out to Joseph Medina who always greets us with smile!). We definitely plan to renew our lease at AVA Highline.

I moved to AVA High Line a little over a year ago, and it’s been an overwhelmingly positive experience. As someone who was brand-new to New York, the AVA team made my transition incredibly smooth. I’m especially grateful for the maintenance and concierge staff, who consistently work very hard to make sure things run smoothly. A big shoutout to Joseph and Darell—seeing them at the front desk always brightens my day. They greet me with a genuine, positive attitude every time, and their friendliness and reliability make them my go-to whenever I need help!

Love living at the Highline have been here for almost 5 years! All the doorman (Chris, Gustavo, Darell, Joseph, Javier and Adam as well as all of the maintenance guys are so helpful. Really appreciate Malcolm and Cameron, they always go above and beyond to help out and fix all the broken things in my apartment. I put in tickets at least twice a month and they are so quick and fast at fixing! Appreciate you all, can’t say enough great things about the AVA! Thank you!

This is my first review through 5 years living in AVA highline. Since the pandemic, AVA is my home in NY and all staffs in AVA showed me smiles when I met them in entrance, lounge, lobby, hallway even restroom. This little thing makes me fresh start of the day. Sometime I see there are a lot of packages to handle so I felt somehow guilty.. but you guys always take care very nicely. I really appreciate and very thank you for the service.

I want to add my thanks and appreciation for the service and maintenance individuals who do a tremendous job. AVA Highline is clean every day. AVA Highline is swept inside and outside every day. AVA Highline is kept neat every day. And to the service personnel we have interacted with including Cameron and others who work with him and Malcolm as a leader, all our maintenance matters (few as they may be) are addresses with timeliness and empathy. It is a reassuring living experience. We have to also say thank you for our new high end outdoor furniture---hard coated and solid aluminum tables and chairs suppprtibg the equally high end gas grills. And no the main lobby is going thru a planned upgrade and will look beautiful and welcoming. We are very glad to be residents at AVA Highline. Now onto the concierges... The concierges at the front desk are welcoming and helpful. Always greeted with a smile, we are lucky to have such wonderful people at AVA to ensure we enter and exit the building with friendliness and caring. Our family has been living in the building for over 4years. We love the entire environment and the welcoming community. The concierge team is just amazing. They are so caring and helpful! Especially Adam who is always accommodating and friendly with a bright smile! Thank you all!

I moved into this building a year ago and it was an absolute pleasure from the moment I moved in! The doormen (ADAM, Chris, Xavier, Gustovo, Darrell, and all the many others!) have been beautiful, kind and loving each and every day. They made a very big move feel special, welcoming and easy. Living at Ava High Line has exceeded my expectations in terms of the welcoming community, clean and inviting environment, and incredibly helpful staff. The Community Concierge team is made up of extremely personable, thoughtful, caring, and helpful people - Adam, Gustavo, Javier, & Joseph especially embody how welcoming the building is! It’s a great place to live!

Seeing Adam at the front desk always brightens our day! We were so happy to have him back after his paternity leave. He always goes above and beyond to make us feel like home here at AVA High Line!

Adam is amazing! He’s always friendly, entertaining, and sometimes even helps me with my Spanish. He’s super helpful & truly makes the building feel welcoming. When he was gone for a bit, his presence was definitely missed. I always look forward to seeing him at the desk, plus, he’s from Brooklyn like me, which makes our conversations even better!

I have been living in the AVA for 3 years and it’s been nothing but great, convenient, and comfortable. I want to thank the whole team and specifically Adam, Darrell, Chris G, and Joseph. Also the maintenance team that is always prompt and extremely helpful.

I moved in to AVA High Line a few weeks ago and it is a wonderful place to live! My apartment is spacious, has ample natural light, and is so quiet (added bonus of having a W/D and dishwasher in-unit as well). The best part of AVA would have to be the incredible staff. The concierge staff, specifically Adam, Darrell, Joseph, and Javi, all greet you by name and go above and beyond to assist whenever needed. You couldn't ask for a better place to live in NYC.

We’ve been living at AVA high line for 5 years and it’s been the best apartment rental experience I’ve had in New York. Building is nicely maintained and everyone from the front desk / maintenance team is super nice and helpful. Shoutout to Cameron from the maintenance team who is helpful, responsive and goes out of his way to take care of our maintenance requests.

I moved here in 2021 with my brother. We now live in separate units but both still love it here! The primary perks of living here are the wonderful concierge and maintenance teams! Maintenance is provided through an app, and the technicians—Angel, Cameron, Roberto, and others whom I’ve neglected to name—are always quick to address an issue and knowledgeable about how to use the appliances in more environmentally conscious ways. Moreover, the concierge team is 24/7, and I always enjoy my awkwardly smiling and waving at Joseph, Adam, Chris G., Darrell, Gustavo, Javier, and whoever’s shift it is! Other perks: in-unit laundry, quiet community and neighborhood (though you’ll hear outdoor parties when the weather is nice!), rent stabilization, Verizon Fios. (I can’t speak to whether the laundry, rent stabilization, and Fios apply to every unit, however.) Moreover, the doors for my unit are quite heavy (possibly fireproof), and the ceilings/walls, thick, so it’s difficult to hear your neighbors when in one’s unit. AVA High Line also participates in an affordable housing program, so the community has a reasonable amount of class diversity. If you get a chance to snag one of these units, please do so! I’m only able to afford this since my brother cleverly snagged our unit during COVID-19, which, coupled with rent stabilization, has helped keep my unit affordable relative to my income.

I moved to Ava High Line 6 months ago, and it was the best decision! I love living in this well-maintained beautiful place in the heart of New York City! The best part about is the people who work here. They work hard to make sure we are well taken care of. Everyone here is super friendly, courteous and professional. Shout out to the great management team: Jen, Talia and Abdulla, who have been taking care of me since day 1! Shout out to our wonderful concierge staff: Adam, Darell, Joseph, Chris, Javier and Gustavo! They always greet me with a smile and help me with everything! And shout to Cameron from the maintenance team who makes sure repairs are taken care of expeditiously and always with care. Thank you all! I love living here :-)

Living here with great pleasure for almost 2 years now: spacious, clean Apt, cozy lobby and fantastic and sunny roof deck! Extremely pleasant, helpful personnel (from doorman, maintenance, cleaning to community consultant ❤️): a 5⭐️ for all!

We've lived in the AVA Building for almost 4 years and love it...the whole staff is amazing but this particular shout-out is for Carolyn (Community Manager), William (Community Coordinator) and Jose (Maintenance). A kitchen cabinet that was built-in wore down over time and needed to be replaced. As they no longer make it, we thought we'd have to go with one from IKEA (which the building procured on our behalf), which really wasn't in keeping with the style and decor of the unit and our design taste. We had offered to buy a new cabinet, provided that the building was OK with it since we'd be adding something to the unit that wasn't simply cosmetic. Not only did they approve but they went above and beyond in providing us with an account credit for the piece and with installation. William and Jose worked together to have the old cabinet removed, wait for us to paint the wall and then Jose came back a few days later and did a bang-up job installing it...it looks beautiful and we're so pleased. Jose also helped with some other maintenance touch-ups while he was here (paint, caulk), which was so nice as we know installing the cabinet was already quite a job and he has many other maintenance appointments between both buildings on a Friday. This is beyond 5-star service and the reason why we remain loyal AVA residents. Thanks for making our house a home, AVA!

I have moved into the Ava High line building from the Flat Iron district and happy with the decision. The building and the units are new and have new appliances with in-unit washer/dryers which is a huge plus! The gym has professional machines, weights, and equipment and isn't the usually apartment one. I'm an avid runner and being next to the Hudson River makes it very convenient for me. The 7 line is about a 10 min walk with 1 stop to Times Square for access to most MTA lines. All the concierges are friendly and doesn't feel like the typical guarded NYC vibe. I enjoy interacting with Joe when he's working as he has a positive vibe and has great recommendations on what do in the city especially the latest Broadway shows to check out. Overall a good community to live at.
