Was told the car would be delivered Wednesday, then Thursday, then Friday. Car was illegally driven by the person who was supposed to tow it not drive it. Very disappointed and then was only refunded $50 of a $250 that was agreed upon.Very shady and illegally activity. Don’t recommend at all.
Recently used direct connect - let’s start with the fact that shipping a car is not easy and it’s not transparent - you contact a broker who then finds a trucking company who will move your vehicle from A to B ( and the may sub out the pickup or the drop off) it typically involves giving them the final payment in cash (Venmo is new here) in exchange for your vehicle at the end - cash 1st - let’s talk about direct connect ( my second time using them ) initial quote was 1650 from Austin to NH about 1500 miles in August (peak shipping time) - I saw other quotes around 1450 or less I told them I was thinking 1450 they immediately changed my quote - (Kristin on the phone was great based out of Delray FL area ) - I wanted to ship within 2 weeks - they charged me $250 up front once the assigned a carrier/shipper - they did send me a scam like email confirmation that showed a cash price and a higher price - they honored the $1450 - that driver was younger and tech savvy super good communicator on the pickup - same day they said they would - keep in mind they say they can pick up and drop of +\- 3 the dates they give you so don’t plan flights in advance - on this occasion they picked up on the day they said they would Monday- driver says Car will be delivered to me Saturday - fast forward to Friday no word (they say they will reach out 24 hours before drop off) I call the phone number on my paperwork from the driver at the time of pickup it does not work - I look up the website on the paperwork - it does not exist - I call Kristen voicemail & then I text her - I call direct connect - voicemail - I hear back from Kristen in a few hours she will reach out - there is a typo in their phone number they will call me - a few hours later they do call - car will be delivered Tue - no car Tue - I do get a call Tur car will be delivered Wed (10 days later) - I get a text with approx time if drop off they show up at the mat time - language was a little bit of a barrier but I understood his ‘give me money’ command I hand over 1200 and car was collected - dirty but otherwise fine - it looked as it had been loaded backwards at the top of the vehicle as the back was super super dirty with a million bugs

Tips : if you have a valuable car or you really like your car - have them pickup during the daylight if possible , clean up your cars exterior so when you take video at drop off there is nothing that can be debated
Have the driver show you what he has marked as damage and why - be sure you agree - capture interior picks as well the drivers will be in and out of your vehicle dozens of times - so scratches, oils on rugs /seats / leather you need to inspect that -
Put an AirTag in the car so you know where it is and when it could arrive
Friendly staff and the car arrived in good shape. The problem was the driver called me a few hours before delivery to tell me that the streets in my area are too tight for his large truck, so I sent him a picture showing that the streets are spacious and that he should not have a problem, he then admitted that his company does not allow deliveries in my town due to an incident they had where the truck got stuck. I wish they had told me when I signed up because I had to go get the car in a different town with short notice and to make matters worse, the seller of the car forgot to put a temporary plate, so here I was in a different town with a car I could not even drive.
Next time, it would be nice to disclose up front, that some cities, my city, a major city, is not served, so I can plan and decide ahead of time.
I called and spoke with Sally. She was very nice and seemed to know what she was doing. However when push came to shove, she blew it. She gave me the run around and kept changing the date of pick up. When I was getting concerned I told her it seemed like she was being dishonest and then she asked for more money. I had to scramble to find another company to have my daughter’s car shipped to her college. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. They are not professional at all. And I don’t think they are a creditable company.
Beware. This company outsources to transport companies. They are very nice and friendly until they turn it over to a company that transports the car. I had horrible experience with bestofall transport and direct connect was not helpful. I would not use them
My experience with these guys was great. Sally was very professional and helpful. She was able to get my car picked up from the port ASAP for a great price. The driver they contracted to fulfill the delivery was great as well. Very easy process and I will definitely use them again if I need another car moved.
I submitted a quote request from a broker, not this company, and have gotten about 30 spam phone calls straight to voicemail from this company. I also have gotten as many texts and emails. They refuse to stop calling after multiple requests.
I would never ship a vehicle with a company that operates like this.
The actual truck driver who delivered my car was AMAZING. The person who initially took my call Kristen wasn’t so great. She started out great, however after my car was actually picked up, she stopped communicating. She intentionally would avoid my phone calls and send me to text in which she never got back to me. When there was an issue with my car getting delivered on the date she initially stated, she stopped responding. It was supposed to come on Monday, however I had to call the company and get the driver’s number because Kristen refused to handle the situation. I called and spoke with multiple people in the company who were more helpful. Unfortunately a bad taste was left in my mouth. When you’re trusting a company to actually take care of your vehicle and actually have good customer service, ask for someone else instead.
i was so nervous shipping my car because every auto transport company has 50/50 good/bad reviews... i went with Direct Connect Auto and it was so seamless and FAST. just so everyone knows: direct connect is the BROKER and they will dispatch your vehicle to the actual transporter company (i didn't know this and was confused but everything was great)
I dealt with Richard D. he was the best he wheeled and dealed and got me the best possible rate to get my vehicle to New York, courteous conscientious, and he will call you back or email whichever you prefer he won’t forget who you are

Direct Connect Auto Transport literally saved us when another car transport company, (Midland Van Lines), tried to scam us and left us in a last minute pickle. Direct Connect called me the minute I filled out their online form, and Richard Decof worked his tail off to get us a driver the day we called! The other company, (who are extremely corrupt), put us in the most stressful situation, and Richard didn't stop working until he found us a driver. Everything went smoothly with the pickup and delivery, and Richard reached out afterwards to check in and make sure we were happy. If you're looking for a company who truly cares about you and won't try and scam you and your loved ones, use Direct Connect! I cannot say enough about how wonderful they are!

I found Direct Connect Auto Transport on the web and asked them about shipping my car from California to Massachusetts. Charlie answered my request and quoted me pricing for both open and closed transport. I opted for open, and he even gave me a small discount for signing up.
