I’d give zero stars, but that’s not an option. I’m sure they have great clothes, but customer service doesn’t exist. Updated to respond to the owner. Yeah, the spam folder is a great response to a customer that just had issues. Sorry, not spam folder. Everything you’ve sent went to my promotional folder … my receipt for the purchase. I received my welcome to your rewards club email. I’ve also received 2 marketing based emails. How are those emails different? I contacted customer service via your preferred method, email. After not getting a response, I went to your website to get the phone number and I had a message … on your website … telling me the spam folder thing (you aren’t the first) and explicitly stating it was resent to my email. This confused me … why do you expect people to read messages on your website instead of emailing them … or use the phone number to call me as I asked in the voicemail that I left after not getting the card a second time. Maybe your system isn’t working properly which is all I can suggest at this point. Fortunately, I won’t have to deal with this in the future and hopefully, I’ve convinced my gift receiver to consider many of the other specialty clothiers that are available online.

The Fit Shop was a great experience. Staff was nice and super helpful. Found some great clothes, ordered them on the spot and got a nifty discount, too.

Great help at the NYC fit store. Though we were hoping to walk out with the pieces. Be aware items will be sent you unless it's off the sale rack.

Best fitting clothes, never need to get anything tailored. Perfect fit every time. Great quality with soft and comfortable fabrics. Customer service in the fit shop is great too, it’s like we’re all in a secret together about how awesome this brand is, and the sales reps are excited to share the secret with you. I’m over shopping at department stores where my clothes are too baggy or arms are too long. Jeans are great, chinos, sweatpants, joggers. Button downs, blazers, t-shirts, sweatshirts etc. every item is great. Big fan.

I ordered pants on January 20th, and still have no pants, I checked the tracking and it shows it has been sitting in New Jersey since January 27th. Today is February 5th. I will not be ordering from this company again ***** update as of February 6th I still have no package, no follow up from the company as I emailed and called and spoke with customer service, tonight I got a email stating my package had been delivered which was not true and I logged into ups and it states it’s still sitting in New Jersey. I emailed the company again along with the UPS tracking reflecting it’s still in New Jersey, this experience is becoming time consuming and a huge mistake. I do not recommend doing business with this company*****

I tried on numerous lengths of sizes in pants and found my perfect one. I ordered one pair and they fit great. Will order more once my size becomes available in the color I wanted. really happy.

I’ve purchased a few items online before, but this was my first time visiting the store, and it exceeded my expectations. The layout is clean and inviting, the staff is attentive without being pushy, and—as always—the quality of the materials is excellent. It’s clear that the team takes pride in both the products and the customer experience.

My wife and I arrived in the pouring rain and were greeted by a wonderful salesman. I tried on numerous pieces of clothing and purchased 4 items, 2 coats (one cashmere) and 2 pair of pants. I am so happy that there finally is a store catering to shorter men. Everything fit perfectly and prices are reasonable for the quality and the fit. I will be returning every season for my wardrobe!

I bought three pairs of pants from this company in 2015, and every single pair was defective. One pair had a pocket that wasn’t even sewn on. The other two were missing multiple belt loops and the leg was lopsided. This wasn’t a small mistake! I couldn’t even wear these pants because of their sloppy work. That was $213 down the drain! I tried to contact the company multiple times by email and on Facebook. I never got a response. Instead of fixing the problem, they blocked me on their Facebook page after I commented on one of their ads asking them to address my order. That tells you everything you need to know about how they handle customers. Here we are almost 10 years later, and this company still hasn’t taken responsibility. No refund. No replacement. No apology. They suck! I would've gladly mailed these pants back for an exchange. At this point, it feels less like an honest mistake and more like a company that doesn’t care once they’ve taken your money. If this is how they handle quality control and customer service, I’d seriously question how they’re still in business… or how many other people they’ve brushed off the same way. Order# is 19373 and it was placed on November 30th, 2015 at 5:51 PM (EST).

I had an excellent experience at the Fit Shop. I had a chance to try on several items that interested me when viewing them online. Some of them weren't a good fit, and I would have had to return them if I ordered them from my home in Seattle. I found others that worked well. Jeremy was helpful and patient as I worked my way through a stack of clothes. Visiting the Fit Shop is a much more efficient way to shop. I wish there were one on the West Coast.

Helpful staff, quality well designed and well fitting clothing. Some items stock out early so importantg to be on the lookoput for when new stock comes in! Quick, almost overnight delivery to Boston area.

Fantastic first time visit to the Peter Manning NYC fit shop. One of the great benefits of Peter Manning clothes is the large number of sizes available which really allows you to get a perfect fit without any tailoring. And having the very knowledgeable staff at the fit shop work with you when you're in-between sizes helps to get it just right. I went in looking to purchase a size 4 suit (turns out size 3 fit perfectly) and got to try on (and purchase) a number of other items I had been considering on their website. If you find yourself in NYC, the excursion is well worth a trip. Great customer service, fast delivery of my items and a full selection of the sizes of everything available on their website. Plus a 10% discount which is a fantastic incentive.

I walked in expecting to purchase a pair of jeans and a flannel shirt, and left with three pairs of jeans and three shirts! There were so many selections. The styles were high quality and attractive, and best of all, everything fit perfectly. Hello new wardrobe and bye, bye tailor!

Definitely worth checking out the fit shop if in NYC. I had only seen them online before, but really helped to try on the clothes in person and find my perfect fit. Highly recommend.

I'm glad I was able to find the right size jeans by coming into the store. It's good to be able to try things on before you buy. My only regret is that the entire Fall line of clothing wasn't available due to a change in suppliers.

We have shopped here in site and online for many years. We received great personal attention. We were disappointed that stock was low in some areas. We did purchase several shirts and jeans that arrived within a few days and all fit perfectly. Looking forward to when a tux is in stock for our daughters wedding next summer.. We certainly appreciate having some choice of classic clothes for very short men. Thank you

The clothing fit is really good. The quality of the clothes is very disappointing. It is much worse than the clothing purchased from Macys or similar store for comparable cost. After a single wash pants need ironed and still look bad, shirts look very used after a couple of washes. 3-stars is for the effort put into sizing

What took me so long?? The $ I’m saving on tailoring likely will make my dry cleaner sad but they’ll deal. Great store. Helpful, knowledgeable, friendly staff. Classic, well made, quality goods priced right. And what a great feeling to buy and wear something without needing alterations!! Will be my new go to.

I visited the shop in New York while in town. I had purchased several items from the web page but the fitting I felt was just a wee bit off. Still much better than I had been wearing but needed a tweak here and there. While there I was able to try on the different styles I had purchased and locked down the correct size. Information was entered into my account and I was given a card to take with me with the same sizing info. I love the clothes and the fit. My new stuff arrived today.

Just back from a vacation to NYC, yesterday I had to visit before I went back home. The staff were accommodating and friendly, and helped me find my exact fit. They had a clothes rack of discount shirts, and the photo is me wearing a size 4 shirt. A little wrinkley because I slept with it on ?I'm 5'5 and 158-160 pounds depending. I love the fit. I went ahead and ordered more during my flight home. I've tried clothes from other "short guy" online stores, but there is something about Peter Manning I like best, the way it fits and the quality. Thank you Peter Manning and crew.

Very nice selection of clothes in my size and style. Very helpful, no pressure sales staff. I received my purchases the very next day. Well worth your time if you've always had trouble finding well made, current fashion clothing in smaller sizes that will make you look good resulting in feeling good.

Going to the fit shop is the smart thing to do. Jeremy was helpful and professional, as online purchases can be challenging. I am much happier with my purchases as a result. However, I must say, the sizing of their jeans can be a little inconsistent. Thinking a supplier issue but when they work, they’re my favorite jeans EVER (Johnny/Standard fit).

The fit shop in NYC was an outstanding experience. The ability to try on the clothes and get the right fit was just what I wanted. The items not in stock in the store shipped immediately and I had them in two days. Will definitely go back. I also saw things I would never have considered by browsing the website and will be back for more.

If you’re under 5 foot 6 inches, this is the store for you. I’ve always had trouble finding pants that were 28 inches in length or less since I’m short and this store sells pants at all different lengths. The items I bought were so good that I came back again for a second time and bought additional items.

I have purchased multiple pairs of jeans from Peter Manning and typically they are pretty good. I recently noticed some weird staining coming from the leather patch on the back. I sent a picture and asked for a replacement pair. I was surprised when all they offered me was 15% off a new pair. The coyly implied that I was washing them incorrectly. I explained that I wash all my jeans the same and this is the only pair that has done this. Needless to say, I will not be ordering from them again. terrible customer services and retention. Don't buy from them. There are many retailers that have better service. The quality has gone down hill.
