Really cute cafe with lots of plants. Get the freddo cappuccino, mostly a sturdy milk foam with some dark roast espresso to balance it out. The huge cup felt almost weightless. Fun drink.
A great place to meet friends. Atmosphere is awesome but the true star of the show is the staff. Very well trained and friendly.
This store is an example of how coffee shops / flower shops should be run.
The fact they have a clean working bathroom and Wi-Fi is a huge plus for me .
I asked for an oat latte.. went to the bathroom and then heard the baristas laughing… I came back and received this. A decaf oat latte. I didn’t ask for decaf. And I have feeling they gave me decaf because I didn’t tip.. I’ve been here a few times this week and tipped the last time. I was a barista for years and never messed with people’s coffee if they didn’t tip. Plantshed, please do better
My favorite place for morning coffee, great spot, great flat white, and very nice people. However, one of the baristas makes my flat white only 75% full and even gives me a “lesson” about it. Meanwhile, I usually get my flat white filled to the top with a beautiful design. My recommendation is consistency, I’d like my flat white filled to the top every time, no matter who makes it!
Friendly staff, good latte and the best is the terrasse in the sun in the morning. Good choice of plants as well. The pastries are ok but could be improved. I really love to hang out here.
My company had the opportunity and pleasure to be part of an event held at Plantshed. The space is incredible. The Staff that was there in-house was wonderful and we were able to put on a really extraordinary event! Looking forward to checking out the space during regular hours. Oh and GREAT COFFEE!
Sold me a plant with scale on it, they'll claim it's over 30 days now and it didn't come from them. I don't have a lot of plants and I live in a pretty new building. No chance the scale comes from anywhere else than the active hard scale on the plant. The hard dots are scale and they should've at least advised it being so.
If you buy from this store I'd recommend you fully check the plant for any signs of problems or rather just buy from somewhere with a bit better customer service, in general I've found the local plant shops to be a lot better and informative than these chain store types!
Was looking forward to trying this place but was greatly disappointed. The person at the counter came across as standoffish and unwelcoming. I ordered the matcha with chai, but was disappointed to find out it’s made with syrup rather than actual chai…something that wasn’t clear on the menu. When I asked if it was possible to make it without the syrup, I was told dismissively and with attitude that I’d have to purchase a whole new drink. Sadly, the matcha itself also tasted below average in quality. Tossed the whole thing out right after. Won’t be returning here.
I took a floral arrangement class at PlantShed and highly recommend it. The instructor, Claire, was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Staff were standing by to help us create stunning bouquets. We also got to sip lattes while we created. Such a great experience!
I love this place!
My issue is with the air quality inside the café. There are too many air fresheners throughout the store. I understand that you sell them, but do you really need five or more reed diffuser testers? Please consider reducing the number of scented reeds, as they are not good for your health.
Has such good sun lighting and big tables at the back for studying. I get overwhelmed quick in cafes with small windows and no air. However Plantsher is perfect for people like me! I can spean hours in there and enjoy the delicious coffee! Highly recommended greek cappucino.
Went in for a coffee and cake with my son. Once we had the coffee I asked bonuses their toilet and was told they dont have one. Clearly they do have one for their employees but not the customers keeping their business thriving. Pointless place and wish I hadn't given them my money.
pretty nice place to hang out. coffee was pretty expensive for what u get and it was hard to find a seat bc it got crowded, but overall a pretty nice place to get work done. the flowers are so lovely
Super thoughtful experience at Plantshed picking up flowers for a family member post-surgery. Nice, warm and friendly staff helped wrap up the perfect petite bouquet for the occasion!
I had a drip coffee to go at 8:30 am and it was actually really delicious and flavorful. They did it perfectly. The shop has a lots of seats and I think it could be a perfect place to hang out alone or with a friend. Everyone was nice and fast and ready for the morning rush.
I recently visited Plantshed and was impressed by their affordable and high-quality drip coffee. The study space is also noteworthy, with great lighting and comfortable tables. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable.
Often visit here while waiting for a movie at the nearby Village East. Always greeted with friendly service and good coffee selection. Usually get an espresso but their matcha latte is also really good.
The chocolate scone was a little hard/stale tasting but it wasnt terrible. The matcha though was good, wish they had bigger sizes. The cafe itself is super pretty and the staff are very friendly. The prices are really good. Looking at the place, I expected it to be expensive but it was very affordable.
Who doesn’t love a coffee spot that sells plants? Enjoyed an iced coffee here with my sister, and had a bite of her vegan and gluten free cookie. Service was great and the plants and flowers were beautiful.
Spacious,glorious; corner location with a NYC version of a mini tropical forest of plants•flowers•natural products PLUS coffee, espresso, pastries, a fridge of take out drinks options as well.
They have sell and have seasonally sales on their plants/flowers along with window bar stool indoor and Al fresco outdoor seating, 2 awesome; handsome baristas men (whomever worked there @4pm today…those gentlemen) cheers!
BEST PART…no tropical forest humidity, mosquitoes instead air conditioning, awning+shade for outdoor seating, fantastic lighting, drink rewards program, restroom, wifi and PLANTS! aka CLEAN AIR, verdant forest bathing and aromatherapy all free along with your scrumptious Cronut and Greek foam iced espresso j☕️y
