Been a fan of the company for a while and had my reservation down for years. I stopped by in the end of Dec and talked to Eric who told me all about the incentives, options, and answered all my questions. I decided to finally pull the trigger after that experience. Eric and the delivery team worked to get me the car I wanted by the incentive deadline but when it wasn't available they found another one with the Max pack and even increased my incentives. I don't ever want to go back to the old dealership haggling model. Thanks to Eric and team, I am now in a 2025 R1T and excited to drive that rocket ship everywhere.
Came here a few months ago and so happy we did. We had an awful experience with our BMW i4 which led us to immediately start researching every other electric vehicle option we hadn’t already tried. We walked in on a whim and were greeted warmly. This space is lovely in how it’s designed and welcoming. The vehicles are on display and you can hop in and test them out which we wanted to do with the R1 and hoped the R2 was there but it wasn’t. I’m so glad we did. Rivian is awesome! This is by far the best SUV we’ve tried out from every electric vehicle. We loved how spacious it felt and the head room is excellent. We were left to really touch and feel without being hassled. We finally asked a salesperson and understood their process and how it works to order but also all the info on features we didn’t even discover while we played around. We tried to see if we could be released from our BMW early but we can’t just yet. I look forward to inching closer to being rid of it because the Rivian so far is our top choice electric vehicle and the staff here really help push us towards it. I can’t wait to see the R2 in person and maybe that will help us make a final decision.
Large, futuristic, expensive SUVs. Really amazing. Beautiful showroom. The best part of our visit was the friendly staff. Every question my 13 year old grandson had-and believe me, had many-was answered patiently and extensively. They really know how to treat people; even people with no intention to buy. ♿️
This place is awesome! Welcoming staff and a unique showroom experience with several beautiful and environmentally friendly vehicles. The staff were so accommodating! I asked a young lady to accompany me on my test drive and she did. I loved the ride; my favorite feature was the auto-generated brakes that you can customize to your own liking. As someone who always has their foot on the brake this is an amazing and convenient feature. Would definitely recommend!

Had to make a start as I won't be seeing them back in the UK until 2027. Kept a keen eye on this brand since before production.
Didn’t visit this location but my sales advisor, Matt, is based out of there and was incredibly helpful in making our decision. Always quick to reply to the many questions we had, made sure we were getting the best deal possible, and helped make our ordering process smooth.
Ask for Elissa - super knowledgeable and walked us through options and pricing, super easy process and to stay in touch with. Couldn’t think of a better purchasing experience.
We had an awesome experience at this Rivian location. Greg got us all checked in and answered some of our preliminary questions. Bruno took us on our test drive. What a great guy! Very knowledgeable about the SUV and what it has to offer. He navigated the interface, educating us along the way. We had a lot of questions, he had a good sense of humor and an answer for everything. We were on a little bit of a time crunch and he kept us true to that during our test drive. Very impressed with the overall experience!

I recently had the chance to test drive the Rivian R1S, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The showroom was very clean with 3 Rivian’s. Nick and the showroom team were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Knowing it was my first time seeing a Rivian up close, Nick took the time to walk me through every detail and unique feature of the R1S. His knowledge and patience really stood out, and he made sure all my questions were answered. The vehicle itself was impressive, but the customer service made the visit even better. First time visiting Rivian and driving a truck. Eric Hodonore's patience and his knowledge of the EV space and Rivian's vehicles is fantastic; The R1T drove excellent! GREAT experience! Would definitely recommend a visit if you're interested in learning more.
Not a Rivian owner, we own a Tesla so we had to stop by and check out the R1S model that they had on display. It’s a small location, with only room for one car with the customization options on display.
Staff were very friendly and informative for questions. You could open the doors and sit in the car to try it out.

This car has been the worst purchase decision I’ve ever made. Here is what the sales ppl will not tell you. Unless you have a charger at home it is more expensive to charge this car than gas. In winter the battery depletes sometimes by as much as 40% which means you can’t even get Upstate NY without having to sit at a charger for 30 min so idk what kind of adventure they are marketing. Something constantly breaks from the automated features and even our heating system failed on a brand new car then was in service for three weeks. And you certainly aren’t going to go far in this thing - we went to Canada and a 5 hour ride took 12 hours due to constant charging. I can’t wait for our lease to be up.

I was in town for a few days and found myself down in Chelsea with a little time to kill. Looking on Google Maps I saw there was a Rivian showroom just a few minutes walk down the road from me so I decided to make a quick trip to go see the R1S/R1T in person and with a small hope that there might be an R2 demo unit around.
When I came in John greeted me as he was setting up the showroom for the day. He took the time to chat with me about Rivian, the showroom, and and their process for going out on a test drive. I will fully admit that I was far too chicken to take a vehicle out in the city for a test. I've driven Washington DC but NYC seems like a whole different beast to me.
I mentioned that I had been hoping to see an R2 and John mentioned there would be one in the store in October if I was around then.
While I was there I was able to drool over the R1S/R1T and sit in the vehicles. Getting to go check out these cars makes me even more excited for when the R2 drops in a little over a year.
John was great to chat with about Rivian, the charging network, and more. Thanks to him for letting me chat excitedly towards him for 10 minutes or so. Folks like him working the store will certainly help people learn more about Rivians in general. Also my apologies to John if he spells his name as Jon or some other variant. I just wanted to point out in my review how helpful he was and how he made my experience at the store great.
7/7/24 finally stopped in to check these EVs out and get my hands on it and butt in the seat! By random luck, i got to take the R1T out for a test drive. It was nice. Drove like your typical EV. Fast and fun. Makes a nice tight U turn. Love the cameras that will stay on when you are driving. Easy to keep an eye on the bed and bumpers.
I was not impressed with the turn signal operation, very easy to leave a signal on. Also the center armrest is way more complicated than it needs to be. Only one door needed not a split.
Screen control was easy. I didn't use any voice commands.
It was a fun 45 minute drive. Took it up the West side for a bit, feels solid at 50 mph.
+300 miles on 100%
Certainly would work for me but still a bit high priced.
Definitely worth taking one for a spin!

Absolutely fantastic location with the nicest of people, the coolest of vehicles, and if you haven’t had a test drive yet I highly recommend signing up! John in particular was excellent along with Andrew and I learned so much about the R1 series and the upcoming R2 series. Can’t wait to see this amazing company continue to grow! For those looking to visit here are some helpful tips:
-currently there are no public chargers here.
-public parking is in the general area, but for those looking for a lot checkout the SP+ a block down the road at 480 W 13th St, New York, NY 10011. They’re not the cheapest place, but they are very close by.
-they do not have public bathrooms, but Chelsea Market right down the road does have public bathrooms. Chelsea Market also has food.
-Test drives can be booked online in advance or you can try checking in person to see if/when they have openings.
I came to New York from Korea for a trip and ended up visiting the Rivian showroom, something I've always been interested in but couldn't see in Korea.
Despite being a tourist, which made actual purchasing difficult, the exceptionally friendly guidance made me want to definitely buy one if it launches in Korea.
If you're interested, make sure to visit. It will surely be a great experience!
Walked in just to maybe learn a little bit about Rivian, and the second I entered the building I was warmly welcomed by one of the staff I immediately felt super comfortable he showed us around and he was super passionate about the cars and the company showing us all the e amazing things about the car and he even took us for a test ride. In short amazing experience super nice workers and would definitely look to rivian when I get more ready to purchase an electric car!!!

He made us feel so excited about the R1T, and he taught us so much about its features and functions. From helping me drive in sports mode to being so patient with my first time driving in NYC.
Really, we felt warmth, kindness, and he was an expert on the R1 platform. He even helped us with taking photos, buying pins, and other stuff. I hope to join the Rivian R1S family someday ???

First and foremost I would like to say this was the most engaged experience I have ever had with any sales or marketing team. They were very enthusiastic and extremely energergetic. They were able to tell me everything there was to know about the car and even take me on a test drive at short notice. I had a bucket full of suggestions for the team about the car and they took the time and effort to pen out each one.
The build quality is great, with a lot of attention to detail and a fit and finish that speaks volumes about the effort made by Rivian.
The R1T has space shuttle acceleration will leave a grin on your face that will be very difficult to remove. This will always be a memory that I will have on rewind till I get mine soon as a right-hand drive version is out.
Please pay Rivian a visit.
P.S. RJ Scaringe I want one in Zambia. There are plenty of places I would love to take... don't worry about the charging there is plenty of sun here and I know a guy ?
The staff at this location are great and very helpful!! They were very patient and found every opportunity to help answer any question as well as brainstorm options. Definitely recommend stopping by this location if you’re in the area and considering purchasing a Rivian.
