A friend looked all over for a jewelry repair shop last year and landed at Kathe’s. She shared the spot with me, and said they were the *sweetest* people. Fast forward to today - I stopped by for an earring repair and indeed they are SO kind, affordable and fast! I’m so grateful. Thank you!

Wonderful!! Had my engagement ring and wedding band resized and they did a phenomenal job. The rings somehow look better than when I initially brought them in! Jonas and his family are warm, kind, and caring. Can't recommend enough!

Jonas was able to do the impossible with a ring repair I needed done for a very reasonable price. After his initial appraisal that the ring was irreparable he saw my sadness from the sentimental value this piece of jewelry had to me and took it back and was able to make it happen. Very thankful to have my special ring back in one piece & on my finger where it belongs! His shop is full of other beautiful pieces that I am excited to come back and shop in the future.

I needed a pretty tricky jewelry repair, and he did it so quickly and at such a great cost. He was accommodating, informative and so, so kind. Jonas and the whole family took such good care of us when my mom and I were shopping for my birthday pearls! My mom got earrings last time too and had lost a piece of it. They repaired it in two seconds! This is my number one jewelry spot in the city, highly recommend!

Between the, frankly unreasonable, turnaround time I asked for, and the worry of doing a custom piece, I was anxious about the possibiltiy of this happening at all. Perfect awesome experience! I had a specific project (replacing a diamond in a vintage victorian era engagement ring) and Jonas was super helpful throughout the process. i went in to get my broken bracelet fixed, a gem had dropped out and i needed it resized. they looked at it closely before quoting me a price and noticed that the gem had dropped out because a prong had broke, and told me they’d shorten it at the part it broke so it would be less work and therefore less expensive for me. very transparent people and charge very fair prices!

After going to the diamond district and not being impressed, I was wandering around and went in by chance on the street. I found a heavy 46 gram signed modern sterling silver cuff that rounds out my wrist stack. They have so many unusual and interesting things.

I had an amazing experience at Kathe's Jewelry. I got watch as a gift and needed to adjust the strap as it was too long for my wrist. The work was done beautiful. I was kindly advised how many pieces should be removed. And now the watch fits so perfectly I can’t take my eyes of it. But it's also the atmosphere. What an amazing shop! This was my first time working with a jeweler, and I still cannot imagine a better experience. I recently ordered two rings online and vastly over measured the size of my fingers. I went in and they found my true measurements. The cheaper of the two was an easy and quick fix, he added a bar and made it adjustable. The second, and more expensive of the two, was ~way~ too big, and has beautiful detail work all around the band. I left it with them for about a week and the fix was SEAMLESS. It looks amazing and fits perfectly, and it was also ~incredibly~ well priced. I would have paid two or three times as much without blinking. The attached photos detail the amount of material they had to remove and then reattach. Thank you so much for the beautiful work, I will not be going anywhere else for my future jewelry needs.
