for security reasons they don't have a bathroom here. HA! Imagine a institution with this much wealth has no bathroom "for security reasons". Isn't that odd
I have never visited a Chase branch as terrible as this one. I walked in and asked about my Chase account technical question. Instead of telling me they don't know the answer to my account technical question or help me find someone who can answer the question. They just tell me they can't help me, I have to figure it out myself. I was speechless, wide eyed and jaw dropped. How dumb and unprofessional are people working at this branch?? I much rather walk a few more blocks to another branch to get to talk to someone brighter and friendlier.
I walked into this branch to open an account & was attended to in the most professional and friendly manner by this branch's banker - Timothy Bertrand. Even though I did not have an appointment, there was minimal wait time. Timothy is a highly professional banker - he was extremely friendly and thorough in explaining all the details. He made sure all my queries were answered & simplified the whole banking process for me. Overall, it was an excellent experience visiting this Chase branch.
Excellent customer service at this location, especially by the staff that greet you when you enter. I went in today to exchange some coins and to deposit some old notes that had been damaged. The staff went out of their way to help me which I really appreciated. They were kind and considerate and explained my options clearly.
Very happy to use this Chase location and to be a Chase customer.
If I could give this location negative stars, I would. I recently joined Chase bank & was there to get help for a hold on my account that was blocking me from accessing my funds. From the minute I walked in, the private client rep, Diana, had an attitude that I was upset about the situation, and her indifference was very apparent. I asked who it can be escalated to because this is unacceptable, she escalated it to a number for another woman who was asking me if I knew how to use the Chase app because I could see my funds there (which is both not the issue was there for and also would not solve the problem). Then the call dropped & took another 10 minutes to get a new rep on the line who then asked me if I have a contact at my old bank to help with this as if I work in banking vs am just a customer growing increasingly upset by the absurdity of the questions and response time. That rep was equally useless and sent it back to Diana who finally escalated it to the office manager, who was no more friendly nor interested in treating me like a new Private client. She strolled in after 25 minutes of me waiting & even said she should have asked more questions when I walked in to step in sooner but made no such effort to acknowledge just how bad my experience there was. I left feeling ready to close my entire account with Chase after this experience. Save yourself the stress and go to literally any branch other than this one.
This branch is very busy, so the line can be long at times, but the manager is very attentive. She tries to find out what everyone in line is here for, and speeds up the line as much as possible, helping anyone that can use an atm skip the line. She also explains very clearly how to handle niche services like making appointments for notary services.
Honestly, the staff at this location is quite rude.
They’ve always been really lazy in terms of processing commercial deposits. I process a lot of cash weekly through 57th St. The manager and tellers at this location essentially disregarded me away. They just don’t want to handle the additional work of cash handling or using their own vault.
Something else I honestly found pretty funny was most Chase locations will help you with outgoing mail especially for business accounts. Kind of an old-school thing but most banking partnerships do handle that with their clients. This location has a very novice bankers working. It’s almost like they have a sort of cavalier attitude.
Michelle the manager here is 5 stars, she truly cares about doing a thorough job and is on top of every single detail. One of the best experiences I’ve had at a Chase before
I highly recommend this Chase location. The staff here are excellent. I had the pleasure of working with Argenis that helped me to open an account. He was very pleasant, a good communicator and made the entire process easy and fast. Another team member, Maryna, assisted me with downloading Chase App and explained how to protect my account and keep it safe from any fraudulent activities. If you have any questions about your Chase account or credit card – this branch is the best place to go. Thanks, guys! Banking with Chase has never been more pleasant, safe, and easy.
Told to wait 30 minutes for repersentive and 30 minutes pass no repersentive. While the repersentive busy chit chating to one another about their day and plans.
Era in this branch is the most rude, impolite and unprofessional banker I have ever seen in my life. I waited in the line for 5 mins until she finished drinking a half bottle of soda/chatting with colleagues who are on lunch break, and finally I could talk to her. She is so impatient to explain to me about whats the difference between money order and cashier check
I made a bank account at this branch with Catherine Planet.
She was nice to me at first, but after Chase suddenly closed my bank account, I had a few questions. When I called her she sounded confused about why I wanted to make an appointment to discuss things and get my check back that they were holding.
After getting upset and frustrated by my simple request, she said she would call back with an answer, but of course we all know that wasn’t the case, there was no call back. After a month and a half of getting nowhere with customer service as well as the local branch, our livelihood and bill money was still held up.
I will never recommend this branch let alone Chase to anyone again. I hope someone else can benefit from reading my experience.
Walked in to withdraw an amount the ATM wouldn’t allow me to, as I walked towards an empty line. Two tellers an African American lady and a Hispanic male we’re having a conversation that I apparently interrupted. After having an awkward stare down from the lady, I walked over to the window. Not once did she say Hi how can I help you, or please step down. She seemed bothered and made me feel very uncomfortable so I walked out. Chase you might want to retrain you’re employees on what’s proper customer service.
I've had great service at this branch. The representatives have been extremely helpful, showing me the best ways to use my accounts and helping me budget better and plan for the future.
Very poor service. People (other patrons) standing on top of you while banking, a teller that can't be bothered, and when I voice my concerns the manager said well thanks for the feedback. There too many branches locally to deal with such mess. Save the time and go to 61 and broadway, it will be faster and friendlier.
Teller service is slow (usually only one person at the window) and leaves much to be desired
It was recently renovated and looks great. There has also been an increase in ATMs
Wait for teller services much too long. Other employees just walking ? around doing nothing, not even to help customers waiting in line.
Teller (Young Black lady) was professional, very nice.
