I came today and they were really quick on attending me and the front desk was so polite and nice and it was welcoming in general! Definitely would come back again! They fixed my computer in just seconds since I had problems with my keyboard, but loved it here!

I had a great experience with Mike! He helped me reset my MacBook quickly even without an appointment.

Came on time for an appointment where I just needed to drop off my phone to have the charging port replaced. Waited 10 minutes for someone to even talk to me. Was told in very polite words to go pound sand they’ll get to me when they get to me. And when they do they’ll need another 30 minutes of my time, minimum. I took time off work for this - can’t wait around all day and this is no way to do business. Edit: took my phone to a regular Genius Bar at an Apple Store. No issues there - they honored my appointment and fixed my phone in under 10 minutes.

Went in thinking I would need to completely replace one of my AirPods, but the guy who was helping me showed me how to properly clean my AirPods, and they were 100% fixed! Great customer service.

I want to note that the front desk staff was very friendly and polite, that left a good impression. However, unfortunately, the service itself was not able to help me. The diagnostics took over a week, and in the end, I was given an unrealistically high estimate just to transfer data from my non-working phone for that amount, I could have bought three new devices. Fortunately, I found another service where my phone was fully repaired and all my data was preserved at a reasonable price. This service is very expensive. I appreciate the effort, but unfortunately, my issue was not resolved.

Thank you so much to Khair! Apple had pronounced my phone to be dead but referred me to mikes tech shop. After hearing what happened to the phone, khair cleaned the ports out and got it charging and back to life, even staying a bit past closing to ensure my backup was working and I could get all my photos!

Jeff was SO kind and helpful! I thought I was going to lose all of my data because my computer died on me, but he totally saved the day and went above and beyond. Would 100% recommend Mike’s for all tech repair needs.

They are so awesome here! My iPad wasn’t turning on & apple kept telling me different things finally trying to get me to pay $600 for a new screen. Tried one more attempt to come here & the man here was able to bring it back to turning on & charging I’m so thankful!

The best! The staff who helped me today (name starts with a K) was super sweet, honest, and helpful. He solved my problem and it was a great experience. I’ll definitely come back to the shop next time when I have any other issues.

After 3 horrible appointment with Apple Store and they awful procedures, this shop helped me find a solution with my broken battery. The service was kind, efficient, Khair is the man: The best ! All team is so Nice and efficient. My new battery is a official apple product, so Happy. Thank you Mike’s Tech shop ?

Jeff just resurrected my Mac with his magical hands. Right when Apple told me it was a lost cause, Jeff showed up like he was sent by God himself. This guy is a tech wizard—absolutely amazing!

This place is running a huge scam. Do not waste your time here. I called this place once asking for the cost to fix my MacBook screen. The man on the phone answered on the second ring, and was straightforward. He said 2-300 for this repair and told me they would use a refurbished screen. I made the trip to the shop, over an hour of traffic into the city from where I live, and I was hit with a classic bait and switch. They tell me 1) they do not use refurbished parts for this repairs, only new and 2) the price is fixed at $650 with tax. This is ridiculous and a complete spit in the face. If I was told this before I made the trip, I could have reconsidered. Now when I call their number, I don’t get an answer after calling over 10 times. The lady in the store proceeds to say “this is not the first time this has happened.” A complete disgrace and dishonest business. Heed from this review and take your business elsewhere. The charge more than apple does. Edit: After this experience and writing the above review, the manager came out personally and after understanding what happened, decided to give me the repair for about $500, which according to her was her cost and she waived the labor fee. Frustrated, and willing to accept the solution, I proceeded. The repair was good, no issues. However, this experience frankly still sucked. Kudos to the manager for being reasonable. I will change it from 1 star to 3 stars for this reason.

Worst service ever in my life. A tech person kept yelling at me on the phone, that’s why I decided not to continue their service but he yelled at me and said “don’t waste my time if you don’t want to pay $500.!!!” But it’s not… I went there because Apple Store at 5th avenue recommended me, but PLEASE DO NOT go there. Terrible service ever!

I had black spots on my iPhone screen, which was still covered under the one-year manufacturer warranty. I took it to the Tech Shop, where they claimed it was internal damage and quoted me $379 for a screen replacement. When I asked for a written quote, they refused and told me to take a picture of the repair cost from the Apple website instead. I then took my phone to Apple, where they confirmed it was covered under warranty, and I didn’t have to pay anything. I would not recommend this shop and strongly suggest going to an Apple Genius Bar instead.

Honest to god Apple certified tech shop, avoids the *annoyance* of the genius bar. These guys are sharp, quick and worth the coin. They tarry in lots of stuff beyond what normal users need, like installing older OS's on older laptops when support of obscure peripherals --hello, Keyspan USB-to-serial-- are needed. Nice, nice guys, reasonable rates. Cannot go wrong. They also sell new and refurbished Apple laptops and desktops, storage and more. Top shelf, nice to have these guys so centrally located too ...

Battery died on my 2018 MacBook. I made an appointment at Mike's, and was seen right away. But they told me they can't do repairs on a computer this old, and it makes more sense to buy a new laptop anyways. They offered me a deal on a newer refurbished laptop. I went to a different shop up the street and had a new battery within 24 hours.

I went to Mike's today because I broke a charger end in my iPad. The young guy who fixed this could not have been nicer. He worked "his magic" even though he prefaced it by saying that he would try his best. When he fixed the issue, there was no charge! I expected to have to send this off to be taken apart or some extravagant repair through my AppleCare. Thanks. Just wish I got the tech's name. He was great. Went at 10:20 today, in case the boss can track him down to give him a hefty raise.

I came into Mike's through Apple's authorized repair providers program to have my MacBook Air screen repaired. They were clear in their diagnosis, professional in their demeanor, and shipped my laptop back to me (I live outside of NYC) with it perfectly functioning. I highly recommend!

I went to have my MacBook Pro checked on because it was shutting off at odd times. Staff member Jeff gave it a thorough check & recommended the best thing to do was to send it out to AppleCare. It only took a few days & there was no charge because I have Applecare coverage. The problem was minor & easily solved. Mike's Tech Shop keep me up to date & called me when my laptop returned to the shop. It took me only a few minutes to pick up my computer. Staff member Angela explained to me what work was done. I really appreciate both Jeff & Angela for their great customer service. They answered all my questions, were very knowledgeable, professional & friendly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this business.

Excellent staff who are friendly and take time to address concerns well. Pretty easy to schedule an appointment online with Apple as an Authorized Service Center. Quick service. They were able to service my 2013 MacBook Air battery even after the Apple Store refused service because it’s considered obsolete. They’ll always be my go-to from now on for Apple service issues.

Edit: I'm updating to two stars because the owner sincerely apologized in person and refunded me for the rental I was using. One-star reviews are correct here, don't ignore them. I went in after my MacBook's screen started glitching out randomly during use. The guy inspecting it agreed there was something wrong and that it was under warranty (this guy is literally the only good thing about the place since he was actually friendly and helpful). A week later (when my MacBook was supposed to be already repaired), I got no service updates, so I had to reach out to them myself. After emailing, they tell me "their email must not have gone through," and that the screen issue was caused by "accidental damage" even though I have never once dropped or spilled a single thing on my computer. You cannot tell a customer that their bill will be $0 and then reveal it's actually going to be $800 while they're under the impression it's being repaired under warranty.

One of my airpods pro was broken so I made an appointment online for the same day. When I got to the store signed in and was seen in ~20min but that was in line with what I expected. It turns out it was broken due to a widespread issue and I got it replaced for free! It took about 40min and the store associates were so nice and professional the whole time. They explained to me what the different diagnostics were for and why they were required. I would definitely come back with any issue with my Apple products, I enjoyed this experience much more than at any Apple store I’ve been to.

There was a mid aged black dude and he was working so hard alone and serving all the customers who came for the repair. But the other associate who also speaks Spanish, was very arrogant. His tone was so hostile. But he had very nice behavior for female customers only. He was trying to make them laugh, trying his best to flirt with them while working on their computers. But with male customers, he was so rude, his tone was so raged and arrogant. I was called by the black dude and I was so relieved that I was not call by the other guy, who sounds horrible. But when I was being taken care by the mid aged black associate, the other rude associate (pic attached) was interrupting and was terribly talking to me, repeating the black dude’s questions to me! I don’t know what’s wrong with this man.

Great service. The employees here are experts in their domains. If you’ve got an Apple device no longer included in Genius Bar coverage, they can help you.

Great experience. I was a little uneasy to go to a 3rd party repair store because most warranties will nullify. However, this particular tech shop is certified, professional, and productive. The tech on site was able to diagnose and fix the issue with my mac within a matter of minutes. The staff was very friendly and also made small talk to pass the time even though it didn’t take very long. I would recommend frequenting this store if you have any tech needs. They also have great prices on products they have on hand such as chargers and adapters.
