I recently moved in here and my experience has been great so far. The management team including Stephanie have made the process very smooth.

Wonderful place to live! Staff and amenities are great. Highly recommend!
Mar 05, 2026 -
We had such a great move-in experience. Everything was seamless and well organized. Stephanie, Dominique and Sarah from the management team were incredibly helpful throughout the process and made everything feel easy and stress-free. Maintenance requests are handled very quickly. Both the maintenance and package handling team are extremely nice and professional. The front desk team is always welcoming, kind, and helpful. We’ve been very happy with our experience and highly recommend this building.

Live her for a year, all the building managers and the doormen are nice and lovely. Wonderful memories 🩷

I've lived at Riverbank a little over a year now, and it's been by far the best building I've ever lived in (not just during my four years in NYC...but in my whole life)! The lobby is beautiful, the 2nd floor lounge is stunning and relaxing all at once, the sauna/steam room make me feel like I've died and gone to Heaven, and the gym/indoor pool are hard to beat! All of the neighbors I've met within the building have been very sweet, making me feel like I have a bit of a community within the building! The maintenance team is always super fast to respond to maintenance requests, the people running the front desk are awesome, and the front office is always timely, kind, and super helpful! I can't recommend living here enough! (And I can only speak for the views from my own unit...but they're simply breathtaking!)
Nov 07, 2025 -
Great staff, so friendly and are quick to help. The sales team does an amazing job being responsive and helpful: they have great personalities and bring a smile to your face! All of the door people and maintenance are equally great! The amenities are lovely and they are so on top of fixing issues that arise. I highly recommend this building to anyone!

This building is honestly terrible — brown water comes out of the shower pipes, there was a murder years ago where someone was literally chopped up in the bathroom, one unit recently had bedbugs and needed extermination which calls into question the cleanliness practices of the building, there is always ALWYAS drilling and construction going on, so it's very loud, it's right beside jersey tunnel and there is so much noise and honking - impossible to sleep at night, and the elevators are always broken so it takes forever to get to your floor. Don’t stay here - avoid at all costs.
Oct 31, 2025 -
Avoid at all costs. The building has gone downhill in the last few years. The elevators are always broken. You have to wait 20-30 minutes to get one. The management sucks, they will just tell you to leave early and factor in the wait time. If you’re considering moving here, talk to a current resident first. They’ll tell you how frustrating it is.
Sep 15, 2025 -
Extremely frustrating experience living at Riverbank. The building forces residents to use Spectrum wifi and does not allow any alternative providers. Or if they do, then you have to pay for BOTH internet services. This kind of restriction on consumer choice is borderline fascistic and completely out of touch with modern tenant rights. Spectrum's service is highly glitchy and unreliable, and it disrupts your work when you have to WFH. Let me make it clear, the building lures you during your tour and tells you that you're free to put Verizon wifi, but that's all verbal and when it comes to actually getting it done, they won't let you Neither Spectrum nor management has provided real solutions to this broken internet service. If you call Spectrum you have to wait 90 minutes on the phone to actually speak with someone. To make matters worse, the elevators are constantly broken - a long standing issue with the building. It's baffling how management can charge premium rents while offering such subpar infrastructure and limited autonomy over essential services. Would not recommend unless you're ok with unreliable essential services and no say in basic utilities.

I’ve been trying to be patient and generous, but this place is about on my last nerve. My family, bless them, pays an arm and a leg for me to stay here in a very small studio, but this place is simply not holding up its end of the bargain. The one thing I am thankful for is that there have been no sightings of mice or roaches, but that’s really where the praise ends. The nice pool and workout room are a plus but not for what were seemingly losing otherwise The room is mediocre at best, typical landlord special, though the lights have a tendency to flick and the a/c is questionable at times. The main issue is that the damn elevators don’t work. I have been here for 2 months and literally only 1 or 2 of the four elevators have been working. Keep in mind, a LOT of people live here and it’s almost 40 floors. This means that coming in I can wait up to 20 minutes for an elevator that I can actually squeeze into and on the way down it literally will stop at every floor for people trying to squeeze in. By the time you hit three stops, it’s packed and so hot, and you still have to stop at every floor the rest of the way I can’t handle it. I hope there is a bylaw I can use to report this to the city, because my family pays so much and I hate to tell them this ridiculousness because of how much it upsets them. It really creates air that management is willing to let the residents suffer for their profit to an extent that is far beyond unacceptable and entirely unethical. If management sees this, replace them or fix them, I do not care. I don’t even see techs working on them. We pay FAR beyond a reasonable amount to expect these to be fixed

Living in a residence at Riverbank (560 W 43rd Street, New York, NY 10036) cared for by such a dedicated team is truly a blessing, not just for the comfort and convenience they offer, but for the spirit of kindness, professionalism, and attentiveness that they bring to their work each day. The front desk staff Robin, Richard, JP, and maintenance staff Diego, George and Christian provide exceptional service and care. The management team Sarah, Stephanie and Daniel also provide the excellent support and leadership. Whether it’s the warm greetings at the front desk, the quick response to maintenance needs, the cleanliness of the common spaces, or the quiet, behind-the-scenes efforts that often go unseen, they make this place feel like home. it is a gift to know that there is a team like theirs creating an environment that is both welcoming and dependable.
Jun 22, 2025 -
The experience with the elevators in this building is a tragedy. Half the elevators have been broken for months and the management team is unable to fix them in a reasonable time. If you are thinking about living in a higher floor at this building, count on needing 10+ minutes to get to the lobby during rush hours.
May 26, 2025 -
I loved living in this building. The management team was so nice with spectacular views of the water and Manhattan skyline. However there are cons. The windows are not soundproof and I can hear protests from the streets. The bedroom has no light switches that work. There’s also a bike storage room, swimming pool and steam room.

I write this review as I finish up my 4th year here at Riverbank and pack up to move back to Boston. This has been a great home for me. The administrative, front desk, maintenance and concierge staff are the best in the city and if only for that, I have stayed this long. The amenities are great as well - the gym, pool, sauna, locker rooms, dog wash, grill, shuttle bus, morning coffee, etc. I pay extra but it has been super convenient to also have bike storage, parking in the basement and a mini storage facility across the street. I also like that they do interesting community events from time to time and work with neighboring establishments to secure discounts for us. My apartment is a corner 1 BR with great views of the city and of the river. It is an older layout which I chose over the open concept because it gave me partitions, more storage and wall space. There were growing pains my first couple of years with spotty WiFi and a bad neighbor that would blast his music into the early morning. Never a great situation, but the building worked with me and eventually got their legal team involved. Thankfully, they moved out. If there was one thing I wish the building could do more expeditiously, it would be to enforce building policies and impose penalties around noise and misuse of shared amenities. It isn’t right when a handful of bad eggs negatively impact the rest of the community. That said, I have no regrets about living here and would definitely consider coming back to Riverbank if I ever move back to New York again.

Great building. First time I’ve come across such a warm leasing agent. Full of energy and not at all pushy. She was on time, did not rush me, related to our needs and overall was great at her job. Honest.

Riverbank has become my sanctuary. I moved here immediately after a very tough time in my life. Approximately 3 years ago. I have associated living in this building with resilience, family and safety. The Riverbank environment has been very nurturing and kind. This is a feeling I’ve shared with every one who visits me! And they right away see it. The management, the doormen/woman, and all the other workers who make this place run are exemplary. The amenities are superb. And there is an attached garrage in the basement. What more can you want in a lux building in Manhattan… Can’t go wrong!!

I lived in Riverbank and it was one of the best apartments to live in Hell's Kitchen. The staff is amazing and the concierge is so kind. The building has so many amenities from a Gym, swimming pool and sauna to an outdoor terrance and an in door game room as well as a yoga studio. The apartment sizes are also amazing for Manhattan. The building was clean and well maintained. If we ever had any service request in the apartment, the management responded to it promptly and it was usually resolved within the day. For anyone looking for an apartment in the Hell's kitchen area, I highly recommend this building!

Riverbank was amazing from the first day we stepped foot in there, Wyman was awesome to work with when we were finding an apartment.while living there Everyone truly is amazing at Riverbank . The concierge and doorman are always a great conversation and truly make it special to live there. Maitnance very quick and friendly. The apartment was amazing as well this one was a tough one to move out of. Since it felt like a home. Riverbank thank you

We've lived here for 4 years - we love the building and the people there so much that we decided to stay and switch units when it came time to move. The units are freshly renovated and beautiful - all of them seem to have glorious views of NYC (both our units have been on the south side and have overlooked the Hudson River and all of Hudson Yards), and most of them have balconies. The staff is incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful (it's impossible to pick a favorite as they're all so great). Any issue we've had (all very minor, btw) has been addressed immediately and with care. The amenities are some of the best I've seen from the indoor pool to the workrooms you can reserve to the sauna. We love it and hope to stay!

Riverbank's location, services and amenities are all first rate and the views from most apartments are fabulous. My wife and I lived at Riverbank for 33 years so it is obvious that we liked it. For all that time, the building support staff - concierge, maintenance and repair - were always outstanding. They were attentive, friendly and very responsive to our needs. We LOVED them. Building management, however, was poor to fair, at best, until Bozzuto Management arrived a number of years ago and showed what good management SHOULD be - they are also outstanding. Health problems forced my wife and I to relocate out of state to be close to our children or we would have stayed at Riverbank until we died - it is a great place to live and we miss it.

I absolutely love living at Riverbank. The entire team is not only always attentive but also friendly, making the entire living experience here delightful. The building's structure is of high quality, providing an excellent living environment. Communication with the management is consistently attentive, and the whole team is always ready to assist with any questions or concerns. Their responsiveness has made my stay here very well-supported. I genuinely love living at Riverbank and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Manhattan. It's not just a residence; it's a community where the team goes above and beyond to create a positive living experience. Riverbank has truly exceeded my expectations, and I am grateful to be part of this wonderful community!

I have lived in Riverbank West for over 10 Yrs. It’s an amazing place to call home; the amenities space are spectacular with private saunas and steam rooms. The staff are absolutely top notch. Great management and extremely clean! Definitely worthy of a place to call home! John

Loved the apartment so much that I tried applying for it just after I got to view the apartment but someone else locked down the apartment quicker than I could and I was really disappointed. But thanks to Wyman who was really sweet and kind throughout everything (from viewing, leasing, and moving in!) I could secure another apartment at Riverbank and I’m really satisfied and happy with my new home! The apartment is well managed and the staff here are all so friendly and kind. I even referred Riverbank to my friend who ended up moving in!

I have lived in several countries and in several apartments/residences. I have been at Riverbank for 1 month now and I can say it's one of the best residences I've ever lived in. Great location, great service, great amenities, great team! The management and building staff are so professional and second to none. I was welcomed with open arms and this is Home. Friendly and professional people keep this building Safe and Welcoming. Apartments are fitted with top notch quality fixtures and interiors have a modern and industrial look. It's a great blank canvas to start building your style. I haven't had a complaint so far. Leasing team, especially Fiona has been super kind and proactive about what the process requires (from the initial viewing through move in and beyond) As an expat moving to a new city the level of support I have received is truly invaluable.

I had the pleasure of living at Riverbank a few years ago before having to move away during the pandemic lockdown. It was an incredible experience then, and I'm delighted to say that my return to this building early this year has been equally outstanding. In fact, choosing to come back to Riverbank was one of the best decisions I've made. One of the standout features of Riverbank is its exceptional staff. The team goes above and beyond to make sure that residents are comfortable and happy. From the helpful leasing office to the attentive maintenance staff, everyone genuinely cares about your experience. It's truly a rare and special quality in any living situation. The apartment finishes are also a major highlight of Riverbank. Compared to other apartments I've looked at in the past, the finishes in my unit are my favorite. The attention to detail is evident throughout the apartment, from the sleek appliances to the stylish fixtures. And let's not forget about the incredible indoor pool! It's such a great bonus to have access to a year-round pool right in the building. It's the perfect place to unwind after a long day or stay active during the colder months. Overall, I can't recommend Riverbank enough. It's a fantastic place to call home in NYC.

Recently moved into Riverbank and LOVE the building/apartment. The staff are incredibly helpful/friendly, the apartments are in great shape, and the location is excellent. I have to give huge thanks especially to Sarah and Korine on the leasing team who made my leasing experience incredibly efficient. They made what can sometimes be a stressful situation very pleasant and thorough, so that I felt well taken care of at every step of the way.

We just moved to Riverbank 2 days ago and we couldn't wait any longer to write this review. Sarah from the leasing office made the renting process super easy, fun and seamless . Her availability and knowledge of the building is simply outstanding. The approval process was fast and super easy. We're literally in love with the building, the views, the staff (they take a great length to help every resident). We have 2 minor requests and the maintenance team fixed them within hours! :) Location and views are simply perfect and you get so many amenities for your money! I'd highly recommend Riverbank to anyone looking for a HOME in Hell's Kitchen. Moving here was the best decision ever! Glad to call Riverbank home :)

My husband and I have lived in Riverbank for over 3 years. We started in a non-renovated studio and then moved to a beautiful renovated studio when all renovations were complete and new management took over. We love this building! I was really moved to write this review after amazing resident support recently due to covid. But our experiences have always been pretty positive prior to covid too. My husband and I both have to work/study from home for the unforeseeable future due to covid, and we desperately needed a one bedroom apartment and not be cramped in a studio with both of us and our two dogs (even though the studios are quite spacious). All the staff at Riverbank, especially Jorge in leasing, have been so accommodating and welcoming from the beginning. When we were considering moving out only because we needed to find a more affordable one-bedroom, leasing at Riverbank worked strongly with our budget and needs right now with covid so that we could stay here and continue to live at Riverbank. We are now moved in and extremely happy in our beautiful and spacious one bedroom. Also, Riverbank has been extremely accommodating such as working with us on fees and security deposit, and even quickly accommodated our request for a new shower head when we preferred our previous one from our studio. When we arrived to our one bedroom (and our previous studios as well) the apartments have always been completely cleaned and looking brand new. Also must mention that all of the staff in the building especially all of the doormen/women are always so welcoming, helpful, and courteous. I've gotten to know all the staff very well, and they always make my day coming home after a long day. I'm just extremely impressed and grateful by everyone in leasing and the staff as a whole at Riverbank that I felt compelled to write a strong review. The newly renovated apartments are absolutely gorgeous, maintenance staff is always quick and courteous, the amenities are all amazing which include a gym, pool, lounge area, terrace, spa-type locker room, etc. And the building is pet friendly and everyone loves our dogs! And most importantly, my husband and I always feel safe and welcome. I highly recommend anyone should consider living here and call Riverbank home!

My partner and I have been living in Riverbank for over a year. The team is simply superb. Every time we have an issue, the entire Riverbank support staff is so very quick to respond. Coming in every day and being greeted by a friendly face is icing on the cake. During our stay at Riverbank, the management company has completely rebuilt the entrance to the building and it's a pleasure to come home every day. To top it all off, our view to the north of Manhattan is the best we've had and we'll miss it greatly. If you're considering living in Hell's Kitchen, we strongly recommend Riverbank.

I moved in April 2018 and I really like the place! I heard bad things before I moved in but I'm the kind of person where I need to see for myself because so many people can be bitter for just no reason. But I really like the place. They are pet friendly (I have a bluenose pitbull emotional support dog, with his papers). There are so many amenities and activites for everyone to enjoy. Gym, sauna, pool, rover wash room, laundry room (some units have washers and dryers in them), outdoor grill area, game room, free shuttles and breakfast, free workout classes as well as free wifi. The staff is very accommodating and kind. There is even a building app. that keeps everyone living here connected, as well as neighbor hood apps that make it easy to communicate with everyone in the area. The location is great. There is a Manhattan storage right across the street. Some local businesses also give you a discount if you are resident. Your right in hells kitchen by all the restaurants, close to the highway for easy travel, and by grocery stores and banks. One of my favorite things about my place is my balcony. Everyone has one! And there are even apartments with terraces avaliable! Call Imeh if you are thinking about living here. He made the application process a breeze.
