Hands down one of the best food experiences I’ve had. The döner was SLAPPING good. fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. Reminds me when I was doing my euro travels. Shoutout to Carlina at the counter, her hospitality and energy made the whole experience even better. She truly went above and beyond. Definitely coming back! -Saif -Hamza

Carlina was the best in that she really helped me navigate the menu as a first time visitor. The food was incredible I highly recommend the wrap and the salad rice combo. The white sauce cannot be missed. This place is so great because it’s open for pretty late with great music playing too.
Feb 19, 2026 -
If you haven’t tried this place, you’re missing out. The doners are delicious and so are the fries. Carlina was very helpful, put my order together asap. She was very friendly and attentive. I’ll be back soon.

Very solid Doner spot, also tried their baklava very decent. Service was amazing from Samantha she was lovely.
Feb 13, 2026 -
So much chicken and beef! For the doner box, always get the sauce on the side. So yummy!
Feb 11, 2026 -
The food was delicious. The service was not great. Probably would not return due to that fact.

tried this spot in new york since we were craving a german kebab. this spot did not disappoint. quick service and accessible location but most importantly delicious food. i ordered the mixed meat wrap and it was heavenly. packed with lots of flavor and veggies i was full off of 1/2 and ate the other 1/2 for lunch the next day. ambience is alright, trendy for a quick service grab and go. the logo is a bit corny/tacky to my liking. would recommend for a quick delicious meal! also ordered the baklava and it was a bit too firm and dry for my liking, but good nonetheless.

So I wasn't going to write this until the owner responded, which i do appreciate them looking into this! My first order was cancelled, yes but my second one went through and it did get delivered. The quality has drastically gone down since I last ate there several months ago. Bread was stale and mushy from the excess grease. There was coagulated grease on the wrapper thick as butter. And the meat tasted old. My friend and I used to order from there often but this was the first time we got a stomach ache lasting several days afterwards. I really hope this place can get it back together cause it used to be amazing!

the logo of Döner Haus place seems to be a hat tip to a famous porn site bc the logo is like a parallel of it--weird flex but whatever. but hey it whatever it takes to get people to stop consuming pornography and start consuming food. before you rush to judgement of anyone for knowing the connecting re: the logo...it's not a galaxy-brained mystery if you are extremely online you know this and a metric ton of digital information that absolutely useless for anything but memes and gifs. anyway, the döner comes way of Turkish immigrant cuisine out of Germany...it's basically sliced halal seasoned chicken or halal beef cooked on a vertical rotisserie, add a layers of fresh veggies, herbs, and a white sauce and sandwich that in a pocket bread or wrap...and there you have the basics of a döner. i may be missing some key details but you get the gist of it. ordered here back in March of this year and forgot to review...not that my order was unmemorable, but it wasn't memorable either...it was a solidly good sandwich for dinner on a cold night. after ordering i regretted not ordering the French fries, but after getting my order i didn't regret it bc my döner was fairly hefty. it was a mix of meats (rotisserie sliced chicken and beef), layers of fresh veggies like lettuce, pickled red cabbage, red onions, sliced tomatoes, & a yogurty-herbed white sauce all wrapped up in a thin flour wrap. while being a fairly big stuffed sandwich, it felt like a fairly healthy meal bc the primary calories are from the chicken and beef which are lean cuts of fairly moist meats. overall, it makes for a filling sandwich when you want something filling but don't want a calorie bomb. ordered via app for pickup. the wait for the sandwich felt long but at least you know it's bc it's made to order and not prepackaged or something. there wasn't much of a line when i got there, but it built up as i waited. this place is obviously on all the major food ordering apps, but you can order in person. there's no seating bc this place is just an order window and a kitchen. service is pretty basic as soon as your order is up...they call your name...not much personality. glad i ate here bc i never had this type of Turkish food before and would try it again. like most food memories, they fade until they return...hence this review.

I ordered the beef sandwich with fries and never again. They gave me too much beef, it wasn’t fresh and the fries were OK. The workers aren’t friendly and below are pictures I took of spoiled lettuce in my sandwich. Döner Haus, do better. This is gross.

A very nice experience; I really liked the place. It has a pleasant and beautiful atmosphere, the food was delicious and fresh, and the service from the young man, Dann Esteban Lasso, was excellent—very attentive and very patient. I would definitely come back.

I totally recommend this place! The food is absolutely delicious — you’re truly paying for quality. The service was excellent, especially thanks to server Dann. I definitely recommend it; everyone should give it a try!

We had an amazing experience at Donor Haus! The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. The service was outstanding — Matthew took care of us and was extremely kind, attentive, and professional. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Highly recommend this place!

Great food and great value! The boxes with fries are huge and flavorful. We liked the Chicken a bit more than the Beef just because the beef had some big shavings. The chicken was easier to eat. The staff was also super nice. I only wish we had ordered less and shared, which would have been an even better value. All of us were really hungry and couldn't eat any more and still had a whole box leftover.

This restaurant is one of the best döner places in the US. Every time I visit, they serve a loaded wrap at an affordable price. The ordering process is easy and convenient, and they even have baklava for dessert. City visitors must stop by for their menu.
Oct 25, 2025 -
Wow, the kebab is really delicious! It tastes almost the same as the German style. The only difference is that it has a bit less vegetables and sauce compared to Germany — more meat instead. But it’s highly recommended!

Food was delicious. Tried almost all of their menu and man are they good! The fries are seasoned beautifully and paired with the red hot sauce was great! Only thing I found that I didn’t like was that either the white sauce or beef was seasoned with too much salt, and that they don’t really have a place to dine in. Great food and great portions for prices! Coming here again…

The glowing feedback from others matched my findings exactly. The environment here makes me lose track of time. This restaurant will receive my continued business. The whole family finds the food appealing. The positive reviews tell the truth.

I just got a mix wrap today and told them not to add any salad. The girl said I have to choose one so I added onions and asked her to give sause on the side The bone dry wrap was loaded with 50% onions and there was no sause! Not inside the sandwich and not on the side! Very disappointed!!

The beef is seasoned well and doesn’t need any sauce to enhance the flavor!

We were starving while exploring New York when suddenly this place caught our attention 🤩 The storefront is super eye-catching (and yes… the logo totally gave us a little laugh because it reminded us of that famous website 👀😂). Ordering was a breeze 🙌 You simply do it through a screen, pay right there, and voilà no stress, super fast and easy! ⏱️💳 Now the food… WOW 🤯 Absolutely finger-licking good 🤤🔥 Everything was packed with care, very clean and professional, which made it even better. And I have to say the girl who handed us the bags had such a beautiful smile 😊✨ It made the whole experience feel warm and positive, right until the very last moment. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in NYC and craving something delicious, fast, and full of good vibes 💛🥙🇩🇪

Döner Haus offers tasty, Berlin-inspired döner kebabs with juicy meat, fresh veggies, and crispy bread. The portions are generous, service is quick, and the modern setting adds to the experience. Great spot for a satisfying, casual meal with authentic flavors and good value.

I LOVED this place!! The sandwich and the loaded fries were to die for, I’m so sad we don’t have a location in my city. This is definitely going to be a go-to for me every time I’m in New York.

We usually love Doner Haus. Great sandwiches with great flavor. Today, after picking up my order and opening it up at home to enjoy my sandwich in privacy I took a bite to find something I could not chew. It was a burnt piece of PLASTIC INSIDE my sandwich. I called doner haus and an automated machine answered instead. I tried to complain on their website but they have not replied and you cannot upload photos on to their website. I’m posting this on everywhere I can review because this is unacceptable!!! The least doner haus can do is issue a public apology and a refund. Do not eat from this place unless you want to die from a serious choking hazard! I can only imagine the deplorable kitchen conditions if this huge piece of plastic made it into the sandwich.

Tasty, delicious food. I get the Original Döner sandwich and French fries. It's a large amount of French fries, come hungry. By the way, there is no dine in, it is take out only.
Nov 10, 2024 -
So so so delicious! We got the mixed lamb and chicken, and it was amazing, though I would choose just one of the meats next time as it was a bit heavy for me. The fries were very crispy and good. I loved the sauces in the doner. This may be one of the best doners I’ve tasted in NY. Hard to get a seat though since they only had a few tables outside.
Aug 01, 2024 -
I’ll start with what I liked. 1. The Original Chicken Doner was pretty good. The chicken was very well seasoned and flavorful. 2. The bread was very nice as well and had a slight crunch to it. 3. I don’t really eat potatoes but I tried the fries. It was Ok Not so good 1. There was some beef mixed in and I don’t eat beef. Probably a mistake. 2. There were parts of the sandwich with just bread, although the triangular shape allows for every corner to hold food. 3. Wasn’t as big as I thought, but it was filling. Overall, I liked it enough to return and try the box or sandwich again without the fries.

Their 914 number goes to a voicemail, walked all the way from work just to see that they included no meat on my mixed Döner box. Now for lunch all I have is this. As a customer who was excited to try this place, I feel robbed of money and lunch for the evening. EDIT: Management has since apologized and went above and beyond to supply me with an extra loaded box. Everything was delicious and the bread is definitely something to get as well! I’ll definitely be back!

I would like to make it clear - I lived 20 years in Germany (incl Berlin where Döner originated from). This is NOT an original German Döner as the place claims it. This is not how Döner meat is prepared and cut in Germany (and Turkey). The taste was mediocre at best and is good enough for a drunk crowd. The logo is catchy, for obvious reasons.. but that’s it on “pros” for the place.

I found this place via an instagram post. I love love 💕 love a good gyro so when I seen it I told myself next time I’m rolling through NY back to NJ it’s a must try. So I did. No line just walked up and ordered. 2 people waiting for food so I thought I lucked up. Ordered at 8:11 1 beef Döner sandwich, extra white sauce on the side. Thought it would be fairly quick considering all they make is gyros and bowls. Before I knew it people that ordered after me were getting their orders… 20 minutes wait for 1 sandwich and a half full side of white sauce. I’m sorry, but you only make gyros 🥙 20 minutes for one is ridiculous. The had to take a star away for that… As for the taste. The white sauce is ok. It complements the sandwich. The he meat is flavorful, tender and not salty at all. The bread has the perfect texture for the meat. All the stuff that’s inside just gels with everything. That was a DAMN GOOD GYRO… Other than the wait time I highly recommend and will be returning when I’m in NY. UPDATE….. Traveling through the city and decided to stop to try the chicken. This go round the wait time was much much better. The chicken is a tad bit salty but I purchased extra sauce and that cools it. I also got the spice sauce to try and boy oh boy.... It's definitely good and complements the sandwich but it is super hot for me. I will suffer later when it comes out I'm sure lol. Overall again a GREAT sandwich. Next time I will try the mixed. Because of the service this time I’m giving 5 stars!
