What clients say about Furnish Green in New York (NY)
-
Furnish Green is such a charming little antique store. The space is beautifully curated, and every corner has something interesting to discover. The people who manage the shop are incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes browsing even more enjoyable. I especially loved their book collection, along with the gorgeous china pieces and unique lamps. It’s the kind of place where you could easily spend a long time just exploring!

Lovely experience! Beautiful objects at reasonable prices and a very helpful team :)

I had a really nice experience at this furniture shop while looking for a new coffee table. The store has a good selection of modern and classic pieces, and everything is displayed neatly. The staff was friendly and helped me choose the right size and design for my space. Prices were fair and the checkout was quick. Delivery was smooth and on time.

Love walking around this vintage shop. It’s definitely one of the nicer ones in New York City. Despite having not bought anything yet, I love that they constantly have new things coming in. Just waiting for something super special that really catches my eye to finally make a purchase!

We love this store as they always have a beautiful and well curated selection but also want to give a shoutout to the amazing staff working there as they reunited us with our very special camera that we left there today. Thank you!

Love this store! Dressers, chairs, vases & fantastic mid-century stuff… Furnish Green is my go-to for my custom look. Prices are so much less than new & the customer service (questions, arranging delivery) is friendly and competent.

A favorite second hand store of all time. Mid century and eclectic furnishings and housewares are top notch, but not stuffy and with a sharp eye for stimulating objects from all eras. Very good record section too. Inexpensive knickknacks to get you through the day

very, VERY poor service, but i loved the furniture picks, found nice silverware and a pair of chairs

Super cute, affordable vintage shop! Loved looking around and getting to see all the fun items. All clothing was fairly priced, and they had a great selection in their $3 bin. I found an awesome virgin wool sweater which I'm excited to wear this winter. By the front, the store had a huge vending machine at the front with several different categories, including vintage snoopy trading cards. Loved stopping by this awesome shop.

really awesome shop! reasonable prices for great condition items, i'm always coming in and leaving with a little something or other, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. helped me get unwieldy furniture out onto the curb and even helped me load it into my car. great place!

Furnish Green is a true gem in NYC for vintage and antique lovers! The selection of furniture is not only fantastic but also in mint condition, showcasing a beautifully curated collection. Each visit is a delightful experience as the store refreshes its inventory every week, making it an exciting place to return to repeatedly. The vintage artifacts are utterly charming, each telling its own story. What truly stands out, however, is the exceptional service provided by the team. Erica, Saint Claire, and Allison are incredibly knowledgeable and always ready to assist, ensuring you find exactly what you need. Their passion for the pieces makes the shopping experience even more enjoyable. Whether you’re a local New Yorker or just visiting, Furnish Green is a must-visit destination. I highly recommend making this store a regular stop on your adventures through the city!

Purchased my dream gate leg table today. Furnish Green consistently has an excellent range of interesting objects and furnishings. The prices are more than fair and the customer service is excellent. I’m impressed by how helpful all of the people that work there are. So much nicer to fill my home with special things and genuine vintage than cheaply made vintage-inspired.

Love walking in, they have beautiful little finds! Their shed in East Rutherford is also convenient for pick up for Jersey buyers.

Great collection of unique vintage pieces at an affordable price. Also, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would come back here every week if I lived nearby.

I happen to have had the pleasure of meeting the owner of furnish green. What a great guy to do business with. I absolutely love all of the items in the store, too many choices for me to pick from. The prices are extremely fair and his staff take ownership of what they do. I felt extremely comfortable making my purchases there. No sales pressure and I appreciate the genuine care taken in helping me choose what’s right for me. I highly recommend stopping by before shopping anywhere else. The selection is always fresh and interesting.

I discovered Furnish Green after moving in with my partner & needing to buy furniture our new space. It’s mostly been outfitted with pieces from various vintage shops, but the piece I got here (a stunning wicker shelf I now use to house my plants) is by far my favorite! The prices are fair, they make pickup so easy, and the assortment of items is endless & continuously growing. I returned recently to pick up 4 folding chairs I bought as we were hosting a gathering with too many people for the number seats we had, and they’re super cute too. I’ll definitely be a returning shopper!

I do my best to swing by here at least once a month for the variety. I collect clocks and other antiquities. Prices have always been so spot on that i never even have to to haggle! So many great finds! Such an amazing knowledgeable staff. Seems like they are the ones that found these things. Thumbs up.

Pros: Nice store, friendly store employees and you may find some items that are very unique. They have many really cool vintage items. Cons: the item descriptions are not the best. If you buy something online, there is a chance you maybe disappointed. As another reviewer noted, you are better off visiting the store to see the item in person before you buy. Also, they only store your purchased items for a week. Not the best pricing as I was able to find some items they’ve listed cheaper on eBay. That said, in fairness, the store is in Manhattan. Overall, a very cool store with some room for improvement. I will shop again.

Furnish Green on 24th Street West is an absolute gem in New York City! This curated vintage store offers a delightful array of reasonably-priced furniture and treasures that are perfect for decorating any space. The thrill of discovering unique pieces is made even better with their daily additions of 25 new items, ranging from furniture and art to home décor and retro ephemera. During our recent visit, we were thrilled to find an immaculate 8-gallon ceramic crock at a very reasonable price. The quality and selection of items available truly exceeded our expectations. While we wished we could have taken home more of the unique pieces that caught our eye, space constraints limited our choices. The staff at Furnish Green is friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their curated collection, making the shopping experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're a vintage enthusiast or just looking for that perfect statement piece, Furnish Green is definitely worth a visit. We can't wait to return and see what new treasures await us! Highly recommended!

Good pricing on a unique selection of eclectic and vintage items. Clerks are nice, don’t bother you as you shop. Lots of windows to see and easy to walk through!

My daughter and two friends recently moved to the city. We happened upon Furnish Green and couldn't be any happier. All of the girls were able to get great items for their rooms and for shared living spaces. The prices were amazing and the staff beyond compare. Moving things in a big city is not easy to navigate, yet, the staff has a mover they work with and he was great. Furnish Green is DEFINITELY a place we will visit again and again.

Update: changed to 2 stars for the benefit of doubt. However intentional or not, as other customers also stated, the descriptions of online items can be misleading. The way they fix things is less than ideal, they puts nails in everything and glue it, which won’t work with wood, the nails will eventually come out and further damage the item. For example, they didn’t mention that a chair’s leg has completely broken and put a tiny nail in it and glued it back. It broke again soon after the purchase (I’m tiny and barely ever sit on it), a suitcase (no flaw stated) can’t close properly. The jewelry box is plagued with black mold. The telephone looks nice but smells like feet, etc. Old: Some of the items are good and cute, a bit overpriced. Beware of the bait and switch of their online-only items though. They often “fail” to mention certain flaws of the items, there’s a reason why it’s online only. For the money, it’s really not worth it. At least go there in person and check them before you purchase. I like the concept though. Maybe try stooping.

What an absolute gem. I stumbled upon this place last week and hadn’t been able to stop thinking about it. They have really unique vintage pieces at decent prices. I bought an incredible tulip lamp, a hanging lamp and some beautiful glasses. They get new inventory in every day and post their stuff on their website. I was able to go look on the website before heading in and had an idea of the things I wanted to see. The women working at the shop were super helpful.

First up, here’s how to get to the store itself: The entrance is on Broadway, between 31st and 32nd. Look for the entrance with lanterns flanking the double glass doors, marked 1261. You’ll have to sign in and show ID (the commercial building’s policy) and then take the elevator up to the third floor, Suite 309. Inside are amazing heritage pieces, furniture, trinkets, art, jewelry, lamps, odds and ends. Everything is in good shape, from another era. You’ll love it. Decent prices too. The staff is super friendly, chill, and helpful. Ask about their online selection and also follow them on Instagram @furnishgreen to see the new items that come in every day. They post on their story around 6p every day. Enjoy!

this is one if my favorite vintage shop in the city to treasure hunt or just to stop by and take a look at their beautiful collection. always great vibes.

Love Furnish Green so much, our apartment is completely filled with it! The vintage pieces are very unique, well priced, and in excellent condition. I have never received anything that wasn't exactly as described or BETTER. If you're able to visit the showroom in person, do - it's adorable for inspiration and I believe film sets frequently source things there as well. Always great talking to the employees and we love our stuff <3

Bought a mid-century modern chair from Furnish Green online and picked it up in-store. The description stated walnut but the chair is so light you could lift it with a finger, so it's certainly not a hard wood, but I was double parked and loved the look, so took it home anyhow! I've since reupholstered the seat and added a bit more padding. Love how it turned out! Will definitely return to their store, but hope they work on the accuracy of the description/materials.
