I witnessed a store coordinator named Martha aggressively harassing a customer, falsely accusing her of inappropriate behavior. The customer was in tears, desperately trying to defend herself.
Very, very rude and inappropriate behavior!!
Customers were horrified as the store coordinator exploited her authority to intimidate poor old lady.
Place is tight. They have an elevator to go downstairs but with a stroller its still tight and difficult to navigate because for some odd reason its still very busy here and the aisle is narrow. I never usually find much.
Awful customer service from the nasty, rude and vile manager romeyi f. Her deplorable attitude and overall ugliness speaks to who she is as a person. It’s employees like her that will cost TJ Maxx in the long run. Didn’t spend a dime in store because of her. Gladly when to a competitor and spent with them instead. Turned off from tj maxx completely.
I love this TJ Maxx location!! It’s in a great spot next to a trader joes, bloomingdales, and some good coffee shops are nearby. TJ Maxx and Marshall’s are my favorite places to shop, this is the best location I’ve been to in the city so far. They have a great clothing, jewelry and home selection!
Nice collection with my every time visit store , three stars due to bad cashier customer service experience couple of times , not all cashiers but some “they really need to focus on it “
The worst experience I ever had in T.J. Maxx. I purchased a pot and a pan, and the seller asked me do you want a bag, i told him yes, two bags, he did not mention that he is gonna change me 5 cents, he charged me three times and gave me two paper bags!! He was so bad and I even talked to another worker in the store he also treated me unwell. So bad TJ Maxx staff.

I already talked to the store manager he is a black guy, and he was sharp to me!! - ( it’s just a paper bag) companies pay fortunate build a high end customer service -, that was unthoughtful response ( pay 5 cents for another bag!!).
The guy who charged me extra is a white guy, 5.11 ft, and has pimples light brown in his face, he is mid 50’s.
‼️Your apologize is not enough for me, the awful experience still feels so bad in my brain and I decided will never go this store or shop in TJ Maxx, ✅ to compensate me, you should refund me this bill for what I have been charged extra WITHOUT my CONSENT🛑
Overpriced garbage and unhelpful staff. Only a fool would shop here and pay their prices for the junk they sell. If you have a particular low range brand or discount clothes you might find a bargain, but is it worth the time of searching through piles of overpriced junk?
They didn’t have what I was looking for and aren’t as stocked as the location in Columbus Circle, however it’s still a good store and conveniently located near another of my favorite stores.
The lower level was very busy, I like how the cosmetics are set on the upper level.
After shopping at nearby Trader Joe’s, I stopped in at this store to see if they have any skillets to replace our aging ones at home. They really only had one today that we could use as a replacement. I have to go back next week and see if they get any additional stock. Really a nice store which we frequent often.

I honestly love this TJ max because it has the a lot more variety especially skin care and most organized. However, today I came to return some items (two dresses), the lady in front of me was also returning and we were both on the first floor. I did not realize or notice a sign saying returns are downstairs. Another clerk saids next so I approached and was told returns are downstairs. As the clerk next to her gave me a look because clearly she’s doing a return for a customer at the moment. If you’re doing a return for the customer in front of me then tells me I have to go downstairs because I am the next person on line. I feel like there needs to be some education upon the staff. I am not one to escalate and I gladly went downstairs to return my items. The person in front of me was not disabled, did not use any device to ambulate nor has a child/stroller. She was the same as I besides the color of our skin. Therefore, I definitely do not see any need for accommodation. Though I’ll probably still come to this TJ max every so often because of their stock.

Great prices, good merchandise, friendly service. I had made an online purchase and went there for a return and found a few items that were exactly what l wanted. Their jewelry is fantastic. Will definitely be going back.
They have everything. It’s fun to just take a chance and see what you can score. It’s like a treasure hunt. I found this adorable carry on by juicy couture I love that I get tons of compliments on and some fun new sneakers.
This pretty T.J.Maxx under the bridge was well organized and had a nice selection in each department also two floors area . The prices is decent but some item of frenzy’s . Very friendly stuff and helpful. The it's right beside Trader Joe's…with great location!
Nice selection of things. I bought an exercise band and a scarf you wet to keep cool. There's a small garden through the beck of TJMaxx that had this beautiful mosaic dedicated to municipal art.
This unique TJMAXX under the bridge was well organized and had a nice selection in each department. Aaaand it's right beside Trader Joe's. My 2 favorite TJs!
