Awesome. Once you talk to anyone there they give you all the help in the world. They’re very hospitable and easy going. I like their clothes specially their leather.
Nice space as well. Always decorated depending on the season but with western style, great!
A museum-like retail store of turn of the century American clothing. Many selvedge, distressed pieces of denim and gear. Prices are a bit wild. Rumor has it that this store hemorages money for Ralph Lauren but is A level gear. One of my favorite stores for the curated selection.
Great products. Some scoff at RRL prices but there's very few companies that combine breadth of product line and attention to detail. There's something for anyone with even the slightest Americana influence. Service was efficient, personal, and low pressure. Dressing room alone reminded me of a saloon in the 1880s western frontier.
Super rude and low-key discriminatory. I made a small mistake in English, and the staff literally started mocking me by repeating what I said and laughing loudly with each other. If you’re not a native English speaker, don’t expect to feel comfortable here. Honestly, just go if you’re fluent — this place clearly isn’t for the rest of us :)
I never been to a store where the worker was so snooty. The guy at the door was nice and one of the other workers. The guy who was behind the counter looked like he didn’t give and help to customers and he was behind the counter. I was going to ask about an item in the case but he just ignored me. Plus this is vintage stuff like stuff you find in an army and navy store for 40 bucks is $800 plus dollars a total rip off
My wife and I visited this store during the week and when we entered the store the security man said hello & welcomed us to the store to which we said hi. We walked around the store, my wife sat on the sofa as I did atleast 3 circuits of the store and was completely ignored by all the staff. It was as though we were both completely invisible to the staff. We are not use to such terrible lack of service as all the staff in the London uk stores are brilliant, and nothing is too much trouble for them( unlike the manhattan store).Shame on you New York RRL.....presumably you're the flaggship store???
I didn’t end up making a purchase but the experience was absolutely worth noting. Brian, who assisted me, is a true star. His knowledge of the store's offerings and his polite, attentive manner made my visit a genuine delight. Also loved Brian's fascinating insights into the distinctions between Northern and Southern preppy styles, diving into the historical and cultural nuances that define each variation. His detailed explanations of the unique ways to incorporate these styles into my wardrobe were enlightening and inspiring. I look forward to returning to Double RL Men’s here in Manhattan and seeing what treasures I might find next time, thanks to Brian’s exceptional guidance and passion for fashion.
Briefcases used to be made in England,now theyre made in India. If you want to spend a few thousand,then it will be made in Italy. But no comparison quality wise-the leather goods from England were the best quality. Dismayed they are offering $1500 briefcases made in India
Such a gorgeous store. I’ve been wanting to go in for so long and I was in awe of how it was decorated! I went in to browse and potentially pick something up as a gift. However not a single person working said a word to me or my friend when we were in there. The entire staff was hanging out by the cash register laughing and talking to one another. Not a single person said hello, welcome, or even asked us if we needed help. It just turned me off so I left.
I love some of the men's clothing for me, living in Santa Fe they fit into my lifestyle well. I've had fab help from Shonn in NY and Mo in Aspen. Thank you
Spent 20 minutes there and getting two items at the end. Four employees, no one says hi the whole time. Not even when you swipe your credit card. Appreciate the silence as a introvert though lol…Used to be a cute place and nice people around the store. Now? Interesting customer service.
Double Ralph Lauren vintage shop interior on West Broadway Street. All sorts of jeans outfits for ale are displayed on 19 century style furniture to provide unique shopping experience.
This store USED to be a great place to shop and ALL of the items USED to be made in the good old USA. NOW....I can’t even believe this store is affiliated with Ralph Lauren. Everything is made in China and the employees are absolutely terrible! My wife and I went into the store to look around and see if we wanted to procure any new items for the collection. My wife found a beautiful wool duster coat with a fur collar. They had 1 left and it was on the display. We asked Kat if we could try it on. The FIRST thing she said to my wife was, “This jacket will never fit you. Its a size 1 and I’m a size 3. So, you will need a size 3 or 4 maybe. Also, it’s completely sold out and this is the last one in our system.” Now...I want to know how someone like this gets hired at a place like this. Who is she to say what will fit and what won’t fit a person? And...she was too lazy to see if it truly was the last one in the system. We requested that the jacket be taken down so my wife could try it on. Kat then requests that it be tried on right there on the spot. She did not want to allow my wife to take the coat over to the mirrors to try on. My wife put the coat on and it fit perfectly. Not like we would buy it from Kat anyway. We then left the store and I made 1 call to the RL Mansion and guess what? They had the jacket in stock in every size. So now RL employees are stooping to lying just to make a sale? Who is this person Kat and how the hell did Ralph Lauren hire such a dump truck to represent one of their most exclusive brands? I will tell you this though...if you you decide to shop in this store, DO NOT let Kat help you. She has no clue what she’s talking about nor does she hold herself up to the customer service standards that a RL employee should have. She’s a liar and a big mouth. She needs to be fired immediately!
We had a great time shopping at this RRL location this weekend and the customer service was a top notch! (We also had awesome customer service at Malibu and Brooklyn locations previously). One of the associates, Kat, went above and beyond to show us and help us shop very unique RRL pieces, one of which we ended up buying for my wife and we are extremely happy! Kudos to the staff and we will be sure to shop again here when we are in the city!
The representatives at this store are top notch. I haven’t had the opportunity to visit in person, but every time I have a had a product question, needed measurements, or assistance placing an order, I have been SO impressed with the customer service. Kevin assisted me with my recent order, thank you sir!
HORRIBLE!! I purchased a vintage Rolex from RRL about a year ago, the watch broke and Ive been trying to get it fixed about 6 months now. The managers are rude, they dont respond in a timely fashion and they ignore all questions. After spending $4,000 on a watch you'd expect some level of customer service. This has been a terrible and upsetting experience. I still dont have any answers or my watch back. Dont shop here, its a joke.
Love This Place. A relax and welcome atmosphere at the store. Staff are easygoing and knowledgeable about the brand and items. More than helpful as well, if they don’t have your size they will locate it have it at there store or shipped to you. The brand is amazing, old world clothing that last. It’s a bit pricy, but it be with you for a long time and become like an old friend
The Ralph Lauren RRL Store in Soho is a must see. The merchandising is wonderful and the variety of clothing is inspiring and fun. They also have the RRL collection for women as well as a full line of tailored clothing.
