Ugh similar to others learned the hard way that it is not open yet! I will update the review if and when it does become operational but right now it’s not even available to enter.

Do not shop in that place. It is much too expensive and the day before the sale they take clothes with that particular color tag off the floor. I went on Sunday all store was blue an few pieces yellow today is tuesday morning everything is green and the particular pieces which I came back to pick up because they were blue. That is rip off and against goodwill policy.
Dec 09, 2025 -
The store ia closed! I carried all these things to donate and it says it's open on google even though it's completely shut down for construction!
Nov 26, 2025 -
100% overpriced. I went to DSW today and they had a sale. The backpack wThe backpack was $20. Brand new. I went to Goodwill and their price was $20. Make sense No return, no exchange and it was used. Their prices are running just like retail stores. People need to stop giving away their stuff. Facebook has groups. You can give to.

I used to frequent this Goodwill location and I can confidently say it's painfully average. The prices are ridiculously expensive for low quality fast fashion, but there are some vintage gems hidden in the racks. It's a very cramped store but there's not much you can do about that in Manhattan.

I went there they got no changes. So I told them to hold the items I've chosen so that I go break the bill. I then went quickly to the other store on W 25th St, no changes there too but they kept my items with the cashier and when I got back I paid. Now when I got back to the first store, one of the items was missing. The cashier didn't hold it, they just put it back on the rack. I left and didn't pay any items anymore. So disappointed. Very bad customer service
Jul 27, 2025 -
Poor customer service. Watch your hands, an employee might just smash them between hangers when they slide them over… then proceed to stare at you. Goodwill is such a great org, sad to see this service at this location
Jul 24, 2025 -
There’s no fitting room and everything is final sale. If you’re looking to buy pants or dresses it’s definitely not worth it.

This location of Goodwill’s NYNJ Store & Donation Center, which is located off of 14th Street in Manhattan, is a great spot to drop donations in New York City!! Their donation center is a convenient spot to leave your gently used items for resale. The staff are kind & helpful!!
Jun 17, 2025 -
The staffs are super nice in this location at 14th street. Prices are affordable and organized. Extremely different with the location in 25th street. One of the girls over there is horrible. Good job guys!
Jun 10, 2025 -
Very rude condescending customer service especially from the chubby short guy with glasses and black hair. I asked politely to acquire a router and he his answer was "go to a bestbuy", I'm civilized enough to leave a review on here instead of confronting the guy, I really hope you teach him how to talk to customers and that he represents your business not father's home.

This location usually doesn't give me a good experience. In depends who is a cashier. When a cashier is one of the managers the prices are not fixed anymore. I came back home and checking my receipt I see I had been charged for 6. Blazers 19.99 each instead of 9.99 ! One dress 25.55 . Light Jackets 29.99 when it supposed to be 14.99 All the item had colored plastic tags not individually priced tags. Please don't write to remember that the money support Goodwill initiatives. Questionable practices are not acceptable even if they are in a good faith. You can not change once marked price just because Update 03/28/2025 There we go again . They took some of my stuff, I have found, away from me when checking out. All items had tags attached. No explanation. When asked what had happened they told me that the tags are wrong. Of course too low wrong not too high wrong. They said people switch tags and they know what the price should be. I see no sense in switching the tags and leaving items behind. What may happen is someone wrongly prices it. However, once priced you should not take items from someone’s hand and pricing them higher. Who does this. Then you are surprised the brand has no respect and people complain about it. The same happens to another customer next to me. I have all recorded just in case if someone want to say it is not true
Mar 28, 2025 -
You can find good things that aren’t too used but the prices are insane. SHEIN purses were 19.99. This old blazer 29.99 and so many other things were CRAZY overpriced. Goodwill is supposed to be affordable. Goodwill are you ok ?

The store has a great variety of clothes ranging from $10-$30. You will need some time to find some really good pieces since there’s a lot to browse through! The only downside was that there were no changing rooms!
Jan 12, 2025 -
I been many times in there I appreciate lots of reliefs on pricing BUT lately been rise prices a lot (Which it's my choice I can manage) Today trying to buy tv $100.00 We're 2 TVs on the store then heavy set white worker (about 30 years old)refuse to lend me cable to test neither of them so I have to spend money BLIND !!!?? Same TV find online new for same price you guys trying to help needy public ?? Or just Make business regular ? L TRAIN CLOTHING ITS BETTER CHOICE ON CLOTHING GUYS GOOGLE IT AND SAVE WAY BETTER

Manhattan Goodwills are on another level. For $50, I got a $10 pair of Zara jeans, a $10 Zara turtleneck, and a $30 Aritizia Babaton Oskar parka (which retails for $150+). What a haul! The main downside of this Goodwill is that there are no changing rooms. So I had to park myself in front of a mirror, quickly swap tops to try on the turtleneck, then pull on a long dress to try out the jeans. It works, but it’s not subtle lol. No returns or exchanges. All sales are final. And the female Spanish-speaking staff member is super nice and kind. Give her a raise!
Dec 01, 2024 -
My mom is a senior that goes once a week because she likes the merchandise and she uses that as her getaway during the weekend. She is a Spanish speaking person. I went with her last weekend just to see where she goes to spend some time during weekends. I was devastated when I realized how rude and disrespectful the cashier was with her. She thought my mom was by herself and I couldn’t believe how a place where she enjoys going to has employees so disrespectful. Since my mom doesn’t understand English she was not able to understand what the person was saying but she did understand the tone that was used and noticed it was rude. What surprised me even more was that this person was being disrespectful in front of other employees and not one person said anything in regards of her attitude. I will not prevent my mom from going to this place again because she enjoys what she finds. I will never go back to this place in order to prevent me from having to see the level of disrespect. I am just amazed at how this type of business allows this type of behavior from an employee which is the last person that customers will interact with. Very disappointed.

The Staff at this store are very friendly and helpful. Just wished that they had a bigger selection of mens clothing of 2XL and up, But unfortunately the store is a little bit small so it's understandable that they don't have the space to add more clothes. All in all good experience.
Oct 07, 2024 -
$20 for a not so good T-shirt with armpit stains??? $8 for a chipped coffee mug??? $20 for torn jeans??? Book prices more than Amazon new or used. They have a color tag sale, but never can find anything with that tag color. They were the place I went to first in the past, not anymore. Their prices are ridiculous! It's donated goods they spent nothing on. The staff is not pleasant to interact with. Pass on this one. I do. I'll go back when they lower their prices again.

Great location! It's fairly large for the area and has a wide variety of clothing options, though not much in the way of furniture and other non-textile items. The security is a little intense, but otherwise the staff was very friendly. The prices are the same as any other location, which is great considering the other shops in the area.

I just had the best experience in this store. I brought items in for donation around 5:30 pm on Friday. The front door person greeted me in a friendly way and took my donations quickly. I then shopped around until almost closing time - way longer than I had expected! The clothes were just that good. I ended up getting two gorgeous wedding guest dresses (fancy) in perfect condition - plus two pairs of running shorts, a robe, two nightgowns, an immaculate Diane Von Furstenberg dress, a skirt, a leather jacket another dress - all for $150. Then, as I was leaving, it started pouring rain! I asked the friendly door attendant if they had any plastic bags and he got me some trash bags to put over my stuff and shoes. Unfortunately, right when I got to the train I realized that I had left my phone in one of my donation bags! I ran back to the store and they had already closed, but once again the door attendant came to my aid and said he would go look for my phone in the back. Pretty soon, several store attendants were helping me and they were so kind - telling me stories about when they had lost their phones as well - until finally the door attendant found it! I was elated. I have been going to this Goodwill for about five years now and I've always said it has the best selection of clothes in town. Now I know that the staff are also the best. Can't recommend enough! (Just be sure to wear something simple that you can pull clothes on over - the line for the fitting room is often long).

As an Asian, the sizes of the clothes inside all fit me! But there are obviously insufficient staff inside. They are always in a rush, unlike the shops on the Upper East Side.

Store closes area behind women's clothes around 6:30pm. So you can look through women's clothes (not men's) at this time but you can't try on clothes in the dressing room because they're closed also at the time. I was given 8 minutes to look around when I came in at 6:35ish. I was trying to make sense of the situation regarding closing time but it was frustrating. I mentioned about leaving a review but an employee in the back by the women's clothes gave me attitude and tried to pressure me into giving the store a good review. Between clothing sizes not being organized, pressure to hurry up with shopping, and the attitude I was given by that employee, I can't give this place any decent rating. I'd say it's 1.5 out of 5. Only attention to detail there is color scheme. Average women's jeans price is $20 not including tax.

I shop at a handful of the Goodwills across the city, and it’s quite surprising to see that I regularly have my purchase rounded up as part of their Good Cents program, and I am not asked. After reading the reviews for this location, my experiences have been similar to others. It seems like this has been going on for years! Please train the staff, and actually provide this feedback. I went on 9/8/23 in the evening, 30 min before closing. I tried to purchase a regular priced blazer and the woman said it was $20. First of all, all the items that are regular priced end with .99, so it seems very normalized for this location to round up without asking. Secondly, I didn’t see any signs for the price on the blazer rack (but I did see it for other items!) or a price board I’ve seen in other locations. After reaching out to Goodwill to see what the general prices are currently, they wouldn’t provide it. I would like to know if general prices have gone up across all Goodwill NYNJ? Should the prices all be the same at all NYNJ locations? What is going on??

There are a lot of clothing options and also some home items and electronics. The store is pretty tight but easy to navigate. The clothes are fairly priced but some of the things in season have price tags as high as $20+ eg coats. It is a good place to get a lot of necessary items for a good price and okay quality. Will recommend it as a place to explore if you thrift as a hobby. You may get lucky.

I've stopped by three times for odds and ends for design projects I'm working on. I get in and out easily. The electronic component I bought was a success mixed up old and new school and got everything working!

First and last time at this location. The customer service is deplorable. At the register, I had asked the cashier to check the price of a top as it still had the original tag on it. He looked at the original tag and told me it was $20(the og price), so I told him I no longer wanted it because of the price, which he nodded at. He checked the rest of my things out and still charged me for the top I did not want, while leaving out items that I did want. Mind you, I only had like 4 items. But mistakes happen. When I had brought it to his attention, he was seething with anger and started berating me. My friend and I were shocked. I’ve never been treated like this before and personally having experience in the customer service industry, I’m always respectful and try to be an easy customer. But he was so angry, to the point that the cashier next to him had to repeatedly say his name to calm him down. I’m still shocked! Why would the owners hire someone with visible anger issues to work customer service? It’s like he wanted to fight me! I do not recommend this location at all! It’s not a safe environment, very hostile! Beware of the hairy guy with the speech impediment, very angry.

Best Goodwill location I’ve been to thus far. Great selection, extremely clean, and the staff is kind.
