Pretty good food! Lunch was very good and came with tea, I came with my family they all liked it, order the naan garlic cheese bread so good

Food is amazing and service is great. Food comes out hot and quick and the prices for the lunch special are amazing.Owner is very nice too!

I love this restaurant. I come here all the time for the lunch special and get salmon tandoori which comes with garlic naan, and a really good iced tea. The staff is super friendly and it’s a nice vibe in this place.

Lunch special was so much food and so good at such a great price! Be aware, Malai Kufta at medium spice was much more spice than other restaurants, but was great for me :)

Beautiful spot and the samosa chaat was so incredible and delish. The waiter was the sweetest man and helped so much, wonderful atmosphere and great food no complaints whatsoever!

What a gem of a place! The deliciousness of the food is only matched by the warm atmosphere and friendly service. You can't go wrong with Clove if you are looking for great Indian food in the neighborhood, and maybe even the whole city!

I had been looking for an Indian place around me…. I am so thankful I found Clove. The food was delicious and the lunch special prices/happy hour was greatly priced. The staff was so warm and welcoming. I will be coming back so much. I am so happy I have found this place!

I love this place. During the week, I love coming for the very generous, low-priced and well-balanced lunch specials. The food and the friendly staff are nourishing me beautifully. (They have many options for the lunch specials, from vegan, vegetarian, to meet and seafood. I can choose brown rice for no additional fee. I even get some ice tea/hot tea with my food. Meals are big and diverse and delicious. The people who work here are extremely nice and attentive, excellent service.) One of my favourite places in this city. Highly recommend. Thank you for all the warm welcomes.

Always so delicious! Service is so spectacular. We always leave full and happy. The chili garlic cheese naan with Spicy Pickle Sauce and Green sauce is the Best! Great happy hour options too!

I came here for drinks and appetizers on a Sunday after 6 pm, and the appetizers were delicious! And the drinks are very strong. I decided to come and try their mains on a Tuesday around 3 pm. The protein and rice tasted reheated. The baked wings were not good. The bread is the standout item on this menu.

I love this place. So close to my university and I catch myself coming here way too often. The food is fresh and I always get a friendly conversation out of any staff member. I came in today with my mom for the first time and we have a lunch special. She had the chicken curry and I had the chicken masala like always. So affordable and great portions. Thank you, everyone! I've been coming here every now and then during my studies at Ccny. The Beef Masala is my favourite by far with the lunch special. I like their home made tea they serve along side it too.

Excellent place to eat authentic Indian food. The love that is put into the food, service, and atmosphere is incredible. The owner is amazing and a bundle of joy! Drinks are a bang for your buck!

I’ve been to Clove a couple of times and would definitely come back. They have a lot of vegetarian options clearly marked. The curry is especially yummy and the prices are better than most spots in the area. The uncle serving our food was kind and friendly and taught me a couple of Urdu words.

Amazing food! Flavourful. Samosas are tasty. Mango lassi is very good. Jumbo shrimp, basmati rice, garlic naan, everything is great. The staff are very kind. Really recommend!

Best Indian food I’ve had in a while. Food was on point. If you like it spicy tell them and they will spice it up for you. Somosas and the sauces were soooo great. Not to mention the excellent service from Dhearmdra Habib that took great care of us!! Definitely recommend!!

The best food to ever set foot in my mouth. I’m not from this area but I’m excited to return just for the chicken tikka masala, tamarind sauce as well as the masala fries! You can tell the owners truly care about their customers. You must go here!

In 2023 it was delicious ? and Guess what in 2024 it's even better I truly love ❤️ this place. It's such a relaxing and sublime experience with by far some of the best customer service you could ever ask for. The food literally takes you on a journey to India and its magnificent cuisine my tongue each time I take bite it's like heaven and I must say please deserves more publicity because it's definitely a diamond ? in the rough. Highly recommend this beautiful little restaurant in uptown Manhattan literally across the street from city college. Thank you again for warming not only my body but also my spirit??

I would give 10 status for the service if I could . Mr Habibi was so kind, intentional, thoughtful and wonderful with his service. You could tell he wanted us to have an experience and not just to sell food. I would absolutely go back just because of him. The atmosphere is also very relaxing , something about the ceiling fan, lighting and vibe just makes you feel very calm and relaxed , all my friends said the same thing. Unfortunately we could not get the lunch specials on the weekend and that was a bummer . I won’t say the food was over the top but it was pretty decent .

Being a student for across the street, I can tell you I have been to this place many times! It is CONSISTENT. Always comfortable, always clean, and always delicious. Service is top notch; welcoming and prompt. Their lunch deal is the perfect amount, and for just the right price, you can’t beat it. Naan, samosa, main meal, rice, and drink. Dessert is extra, but it is worth it. Vegetarian and vegan options available. ADA accessible too with outside seating. Awesome all around.

First time at this spot because of tikok reviews and of course google. I came in yesterday I was the only one there.The chicken samosa was the best. Wish I would have just ordered that. The butter chicken is the same meat they use in those regular bodega for halal food.? I’m disappointed because it carry so much food coloring that is bad for health smh ??‍♀️ . They just dip that meat in the sauce. The garlic nan was not garlicing at all. ?? Trader Joe’s garlic nan is way better. Abib don’t allow you to eat in peace he loves to talk. My total was 39.07 not worth it. Here is some left overs of their chicken which is regular halal chicken and a picture of Trader Joe’s garlic nan compared to theirs. I won’t come back here no thanks

Amazing experience! This was my first time having Indian food and it did not disappoint, went on a date with my girlfriend and our waiter was an older gentleman who was very informative in helping us have the best experience and food. - The food tastes delicious - Everything came out at an appropriate time - Spent about 50$ for both of us and portions were enough so we can share it all - our waiter was extremely nice and was talking with us most of the time. Customer service was a 20/10 and will be coming back to try their whole menu!

Absolutely love this place! Been coming here since they opened & the food is really delicious. I've dined in & done take out. I regularly order the Kobi Aloo Gool & Chicken Wings. Yum! I order pretty much the same thing every time because it's just so good & the portion is generous. The lunch special is also a great price with large portions. Nice service & of course I will be back!

CHICKEN TANDOORI REALLY GOOD! Margaritas too buenoo!! Habib the host is really cool ? he doesnt do too much and comes when he needs to. Trust me this is essential no one likes to be bothered or upsold while eating... As a first timer Habib made me feel welcomed and helped me order what I wanted depending how I felt that day. The only bad its next to Chinese cuisine restaurant which sometimes has couriers waiting. Other than that... nice to bring your date out for some nice indian food at an affordable price and drinks are great and nice price.

Some of the tastiest Indian food I've had in a while! The restaurants is super cute, and offers brunch and happy hour drink specials. My husband and I are here for a late night dinner and our waiter was extremely friendly, answered all our questions and gave DETAILED menu recommendations. He seemed to genuinely care about delivering the best dining experience and making sure we felt welcome so that we would come back. Well it worked; were definitely going back!

Amazing food!! Specially the shrimp if you love spicy food you'll definitely love this one just amazing mouthwatering desi food, and the lemonade had an amazing twist to it with some sort of masala that they added I'm guessing but both shrimps were lovely and as amazing as they can get
