Amazing food and even better vibes. The truffle filet is a must-try, but the side roasted baby heirloom carrots was the really highlight for me, super light and clean tasting. 5/5 for sure.

Finally found a Halal upscale restaurant to spend birthday’s & special events! We orders the garlic hummus, wagyu kafta, chicken Milanese, ribeye top cut(the only steak option that’s halal), batata parra, and espresso noir. Everything was delicious but could’ve skipped batata parra as side. We were so full but finished the dessert within few minutes. Would recommend coming here!

My experience at Mēdüzā Mediterrania was truly outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was elegant yet comfortable, creating the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. The food was absolutely incredible. In fact, it was so good that I could barely take pictures before I started eating. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of rich Mediterranean flavors. It was clear that a lot of attention and care went into both the preparation and presentation of each plate. The service made the experience even better. Petty, our server, was spectacular—attentive, professional, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Collin, the back server, was also amazing and made sure everything at our table ran smoothly throughout the night. In addition, the management team was always attentive, checking in regularly to make sure everything was going well, which showed how much they care about their guests’ experience. As a side note, they also have a Macallan 25 available, which is definitely a must-try. It complements the overall dining experience perfectly and is something any whisky enthusiast would appreciate. Overall, Mēdüzā Mediterrania provides exceptional food, excellent service, and a very welcoming atmosphere. It is definitely a place I would recommend to anyone looking for a high-quality Mediterranean dining experience.

We hosted a 26-person celebration at Mēdüzā and it absolutely delivered. We had one of the private rooms, which was the perfect setup for a large group. It gave us our own space to celebrate while still letting us feel the pulse and energy of the main dining room below. You could hear the buzz, feel the vibe, and still comfortably hold a conversation — exactly what you want for a big NYC night out. Planning was seamless. The team made menu selection easy, communication was smooth, and everything was handled professionally from start to finish. The food was outstanding across the board. Cocktails were strong and well-crafted. Service was polished, attentive, and never intrusive. If you're planning a high-energy large group dinner in New York and want it to feel elevated and memorable, Mēdüzā is a great move. We would absolutely return.

Amazing food, Great vibe, and outstanding service. Definitely looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend asking for Francisco if you visit!
Feb 27, 2026 -
Beautiful ambience, amazing service but honestly fire your head chef. Genuinely ate the most mediocre dishes ever. Most of the dish flavor came from the sauce and not the meat itself. Some halal carts on the streets are more flavorful than these dishes.
Feb 26, 2026 -
Solid 3.5 stars. Food was good, not amazing. The dover was flavorful and by far our favorite. Everything else was fine but fell a little flat in the flavor profile. The team was helpful and nice, though service was slow at times, probably due to the crowd. Not sure that I'd come back for the full dining experience but definitely for drinks and vibes.
Feb 24, 2026 -
Very dark, trying to be too chic. Loud music with lots of young girls taking selfies. My whole branzino was excellent. Parking was horrendous. Paid $100 including tip at the lot. Wouldn't go there again during night time. Maybe during daytime would consider.
Feb 21, 2026 -
Let me start off by saying the vibe and atmosphere was great for the most part. They need more servers & cooks because the wait time for food and the time it takes for servers to check up on you is way too long. I ordered wagyu kafta and hummus for appetizers , both great , no complaints . For main course I asked the server about how the petite filet steak was and what would be her recommendation for a similar maybe better choice for lean steak as I don’t like fatty meat , she recommended that instead of filet to go with the ribeye top cap and if I didn’t like it to just let her know (I’d assume that means very clearly that if I didn’t like it , since it was her recommendation, that it would be taken care of) . The steak came and not only was it not the temperature I asked for it to be cooked but it was definitely not a lean piece of meat at all , I refused to eat it and had them take the entire thing away the same way shown in the picture. I ask for the check and told her I definitely didn’t like it and was absolutely not what I wanted , at this point my mood was completely ruined and just wanted to leave but guess what ? 15 whole mins later I get the check and they decide to charge me for everything, not even ask to replace or remove the item because that’s what good restaurants that care about their customer service do . The manager comes in after I question it and gives me a sales pitch (that sounded like I was at a used car dealership) and says he will take the drinks off (two $14 drinks taken off to make me happy about paying $120 for something I didn’t eat) , I told him the steak was horrible and then he finally says I can switch to a different item to substitute of similar value , I had already been there for close to 2.5 hours no way I was waiting another 30-40 mins for food again so I gave up and ordered two dishes of similar value to go . Very very unsatisfied with their service , long wait time and most importantly their lack of regard for customer satisfaction. I wasn’t trying to get a free meal out of them but charging me for something that was recommended TO ME BY THEM that was completely the opposite of what I asked for ??? Then my only option being to take something else of similar value, That just shows $120 means more to them than a customer coming back. Won’t be returning, this is NYC & there’s a hundred other upscale restaurants that are more deserving.
Feb 17, 2026 -
Beautiful ambience, but the service was not seamless for an upscale restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing. The dishes were mediocre, with most of the flavor coming from the sauces rather than the meat itself. I was genuinely surprised by how bland the overall experience was. The drinks were strong, but the flavor profiles were off.
Feb 08, 2026 -
My server was amazing she took impeccable care of our table and really made my birthday special. The food was amazing and came out hot each time. Wonderful ambiance and loved the live music. I definitely recommend 5 stars
Feb 08, 2026 -
Really nice spot for a date night. The space is cozy and beautiful with great lighting and atmosphere. Loved the filet (super tender), the hamachi was fresh, and the wagyu kafta was really flavorful. The olive oil cake for dessert was so good too. Would definitely come back.

With the recent heavy snow in New York, stepping into this restaurant felt like traveling to the warm Mediterranean—it instantly helped me relax and forget about the cold and daily stress. The overall decor and atmosphere are wonderful, and the live music makes the experience even better. You can really feel that everyone here is happy and enjoying themselves. I didn’t have very high expectations for Mediterranean food at first and mainly came for something healthy and light. But I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was. The food exceeded my expectations, and the overall experience was excellent. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely evening at the bar tonight. However, there are inconsistencies with the service. The overall ambiance is excellent but the bartenders are not all friendly or attentive. I was on my third cocktail when the bartender mentioned there weren’t any available smokers for the fig and honey cocktail which is their version of an old fashioned. I can understand why this place is a 3.8 on maps and is not making an attempt to get to a 4 star. It was an overall decent experience and we will return to try the food. We did have the oysters which were nothing exceptional imo. I asked for some of water and the other bartender filed my glass to less than half. The service seem to deteriorate into the latter portion of the evening. Unfortunately, there aren’t many good places left in NYC so one would be hopeful that this place would improve.

We had a really lovely dinner at Mēdüzā. The space itself is beautiful, the textured walls look like frozen waves, and it already sets the mood before the food arrives. Our server was a huge plus!! She explained the menu in a very thoughtful way and helped us build the meal around the mains, which made the whole dinner feel well-paced and intentional. The hamachi was a great start, clean, delicate, with olive oil, herbs, fried capers, and tomato bringing in layers of texture and freshness. The spiced prawns were smoky, firm, and clearly very fresh. The petite filet was simple and elegant, seasoned only with salt and truffle, and cooked perfectly, though the portion is on the smaller side for the price. The grilled branzino was a standout: crispy on the outside, moist and flavorful inside, definitely more delicious than it looks. For dessert, the olive oil cake was sweet and addictive, with orange and cardamom, which was light, fragrant, and not overly sweet. Overall, a very solid Mediterranean spot with thoughtful service and well-executed dishes. Would definitely come back.

As soon as you walk in, the place is breath-taking, beautifully decorated & dim lighting. Food is worth EVERY single penny, hands down the best food I’ve had. Drinks were amazing. Dessert is delicious. Server was helpful & attentive. Do recommend for a birthday, date night or simply for a delicious dinner.
Jan 11, 2026 -
Great atmosphere and really delicious food, every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The service was attentive and the vibe made it a fun night out. The only downside was the drinks, which looked nice but didn’t quite match the quality of the food. Overall, I’d definitely come back for the food and ambiance!

Is not worth it this price ! They put ask on the right hand side the dinner room the table is next to the door and so many waiters keep in and out ,but still have so many empty tables. when we sit down 15min no one coming to serve us for water ,until we look for someone and ask ,and only 1 waitress serve 5-6 table and finally after 30min we can order the Red wine extra 15-20min we can order the food / the lamb chip is over cook ,Hamachi is fishy ,wagyu stick soso ,the black truffle steak is ok .i think the best is the dessert and the red wine

Meduza was definitely vibe… The food, ambience, music, even the service. The garlic hummus was DELICIOUS…. That’s what stood out to me… I had lamb chops & my bestie had the Branzino and it was both cooked to perfection… let’s not forget the drinks… on point…….I’ll definitely visit this place again but I’ll try their brunch menu
Dec 07, 2025 -
Loved the fact the menu was all Halal! Went there for my birthday dinner..The quality of meat was amazing specially the wagyu burger. The chops were good too but in my opinion they could be more tender as they seemed a little red.The staff was sweet and welcoming. The overall ambience was top notch with a live dj and violinist.I had a reservation and didnt have to wait much because of that. Not to mention the dessert (Pistachio baklava )was the best part and it couldnt be any better.

Went for dinner Thursday night and enjoyed everything! The ambience was amazing and the food made it even better. Everything was delicious. Also, Alfredo was attentive and kind. We had reservations and had to wait at the bar for everyone to arrive before being seated. Once everyone arrived, we still waited approx 15min. The Violinist was a lovely touch as well! She was very kind and played lovely! I would highly recommend for a date night vibe or a group outing.

Went here for a women empowerment evening and they were a tad late with the reservation. The wait staff were attentive and I’m glad that made up for the time spent waiting for the original reservation. The drinks are a little pricey but that’s manhattan ?♀️. The spicey hummus was delicious and the chicken Milanese was amazing. I highly recommend those 2. It is a little loud and it would’ve been great had they lowered the volume a little. As far as coming here, it’s a nice experience overall, I do recommend this restaurant ??.

This restaurant is truly a gem! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was dining somewhere along the Mediterranean coast. The ambience is classy yet vibrant dim lighting, golden tones, and such a beautiful crowd. Every dish was perfection from the fresh sushi roll to the creamy pasta and that unforgettable dessert that had the perfect balance of sweetness and crunch. The drinks were smooth, the service was attentive, and everything just flowed effortlessly. One of my absolute favorite spots in New York City elegant, flavorful, and unforgettable.

we went on a Saturday so it’s busy that’s understandable , but reservation was at 10 we waited till 10:25 standing by the bar we couldn’t even order at the bar because of amount of people there. Then we got seated but the girl took our order and everything her energy was wonderful but the food oysters were small and we got a full dozen and blue Finn caviar was yummy but main course it was a big no. Lamb chops were so hard and chewy octopus was okay and the lobster some pasta we got there was probably 2 chunks of lobster and filled with tomatoes odd amount of tomato there was no other flavor. I’m so disappointed spend 400$+ on what idek. But I don’t think it’s worth going.

We went to Mēdüzā on Halloween night and it absolutely exceeded our expectations! The drinks were amazing, the service was top-notch, and the food was incredible—every dish we had was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The vibes were unmatched. They had a DJ and even a live violin player, which was such an elegant touch that really set the tone for the night. Notable mentions: the spicy feta dip and the butterfish were out of this world. The drinks we got-Midnight in Marmaris and Fig & Honey-are must-haves. Overall, an unforgettable experience—we’ll definitely be back!

This place was truly awesome! Dolnas and hummus w pita bread were so good we got second rounds of both. pesto pasta was good but truffle cacio de Pepe was better tbh. I got this Sokolatina cake which was basically a chocolate cake and that was scrumptious. Lychee rose was great too and there was nice violin music playing in the background. Expensive but def recommend this spot

celebrated my birthday dinner at Mēdüzā Mediterrania in New York City, and it was such a lovely experience. The staff were warm and genuinely friendly from the moment I arrived, and the ambiance was simply beautiful, elegant, calm, and perfect for a special evening. The food was delicious and well presented, and as night fell, the atmosphere became even more magical. I only wish I could’ve enjoyed more of the violin performance, which started just as I was leaving. It added such a charming touch to the night. Overall, a memorable experience, refined, welcoming, and definitely worth a return visit. 9/10.

Beautiful décor and ambiance - the space really stands out, and getting a reservation wasn't too difficult. The music also added to the charm, with a woman walking around playing live tunes that gave the evening a nice touch. Service started off attentive, almost too much, since the place wasn't packed yet and our server kept coming over before we'd even decided on food. But once it got busier, it became much harder to get his attention. Our server recommended 3-4 appetizers and a main each between the two of us, and that sounded excessive to me to begin with, but we still ended up ordering a handful of appetizers since we weren't sure of the portion sizes. They also do require you to place the order together and they will space out when you bring out the dishes. I would have personally preferred to just stop at the appetizers since it ended up being quite a lot. Coming to the actual food, we got the hummus, wagyu kafta, chicken skewers, and butterfish. The butterfish was the highlight despite the below average presentation - soft, delicate, and beautifully glazed with honey and miso. It melted away in my mouth, truly an outstanding fish. The chicken skewers were flavorful and well-cooked, and the wagyu kafta was decent but not a favorite. The hummus was the biggest miss - I expected more. It was creamy but didn't hit the right spot. For mains, thankfully we only ordered the lobster arrabbiata and decided to share. I liked that the lobster was easy to eat (no claw cracking needed), and the pasta itself was good. But the lobster's texture wasn't great and became chewy as it cooled, which took away from the dish. We ended up not finishing it and it definitely wasn't going to travel well so it kinda sucks that we wasted a pretty expensive entree. Overall, service was fine, the vibe was lovely, and the ambiance is top-notch. And while I don't mind paying a premium at a fine dining spot, the food here just didn't deliver to that level. For the prices, I expected more consistency and refinement.

I have been eyeing this restaurant for a while. And I said, next time i'm in new york city, I would definitely come here. I was lucky enough to score a reservation and came with one of my girlfriends. Great drinks, ambiance and food. Make sure to try the desserts. They are delicious as well. They even had live music. There was a person playing and walking around the restaurant with a guitar.

Incredible place, everything was absolutely stunning! ? The food was delicious. We started with the carpaccio, which in my opinion was the best dish, incredibly well balanced, and the truffle elevated the flavor so much we had to order another one! Then we had the artichoke, which was really tasty. The chicken shawarma was juicy and flavorful, and we paired it with the lobster pasta, which was incredibly rich and delicious. At some point, we realized we needed another dish (yes, it was that good), so we also ordered the chicken Milanese, I forgot to take a picture, but it was excellent and the portion was generous. I also tried the Cantaloupe Paloma cocktail, and it was amazing! I absolutely loved this restaurant. It was my first time here, and the atmosphere was incredible. There was a woman playing the violin and walking around the restaurant, it added a magical touch to the whole experience. The service was 10/10. Our server was incredibly kind and made sure we were having a great time. Definitely worth every penny!
