I walked in for lunch at 12:30 on a Wednesday and was shocked to see 34 people on the line ahead of me. I decided to stay anyway and time how long it would take. These employees were so efficient I received my hot delicious chicken bowl in 7 minutes. Way to Go Chipotle employees!!! I will definitely be back.

Hit or miss during the evening. Often out of key ingredients (about 50% of time). Staff about the same, some very welcoming while others are just angry. Restaurant, table and behind the counter are usually a literal mess. If I had higher standards I would have stopped visiting by now.

It can get quite crowded during peak lunch time - occasionally certain items (ie chicken/ rice) will run out, which forces me to pick more expensive alternatives The dining area is a bit loud at times with lots of people eating, so try to cover up.

My experience going to this location reminded me of the OG Chiptole days. Our interaction with every staff member was very pleasant and friendly. I received good portions and they had every item available. I’ve dealt with some stores close to my home and they’re nothing compared compared to this location

Amazing service at this Chipotle. I been eating Chipotle since 2007 when it first opened at the location located on 52nd street and Lexington ave and the food at this location location on 34th street it's very fresh . The team it's always nice at least the ones working in the morning and afternoon. Love this place !!

Bae and I split a chicken bowl extra guacamole (#the_guac_is_extra). We had some time to kill before our after work movie. Place was packed on a pre NYE night. Lots of tourist. Bowl was really good. Fresh. Although I did find some crushed chicken bones. Good thing I didn’t chip my tooth. Actually really happy about that. Didn’t know they still kept the bones in the chicken. Got a pic of the bone for evidence. That is the reason for the three stars. Otherwise the meal was satisfying.

Yummy food! My first time at Chipotle and I'm super happy with my order. Service was fast. The place was crowded even at 2pm.
Dec 29, 2025 -
Truly the worst staff of any Chipotle location. The cashiers are incredibly rude. Twice I have come and they have run out of kid’s chips. Unlike other locations, which give the bigger chip bag, this location expects you to pay full price without getting a side. Do better.
Dec 26, 2025 -
The workers don't care, the portioning of ingredients is inconsistent, and the quality of food is just poor. Utterly favorless without pouring jalapeno tabasco sauce on every bite. Chips were soft, certainly not fresh. We purchased a fountain drink at 11:30AM to discover the ice machine was not working. We weren't informed of this nor was there any sign on the machine. I would not have purchased a drink had I known the drinks would be warm. Poor management. Also, it smells weird in there.

The staff was so kind and pleasant as the fixed my bowl. From the beginning person to the cashier. Each person made me feel at home.
Oct 27, 2025 -
Loved the food As its my first time trying chipotle But I loved the taste and the portion size is also big enough

This is a very clean and well-maintained location with great staff. There is a lot of turnover but the staff have always been very kind. The food is fresh and tastes great. I highly recommend this location before major events at MSG!

This girl who took my order around noon had the worst attitude ive ever seen at a fast food place.. she was being so rude and aggressive for no reason..if you hate your job, just simply quit :)

I recently dined at Chipotle and had a great experience. The atmosphere was casual, bright, and clean- perfect for a quick meal but also comfortable enough to sit and enjoy without feeling rushed. The Open-kitchen setup gives you a clear view of how you food prepared, which makes the experience more engaging and transparent. The service was efficient and friendly. The staff patiently walked me through the different options for my burrito bowl, making sure I got exactly what I wanted. They moved quickly, even though the line was fairly long, and kept the area tidy. The menu highlights are definitely the customizable bowls and burritos. I chode a chicken burrito bowl with brown rice, black beans, fajita veggies, corn salsa, and guacamole. The ingredients tasted fresh, the chicken was well-seasoned, and the guacamole added the perfect creamy balance. Portion sizes are generous, making it excellent value for price.

Cashier messed up my order. At the counter at 6:58pm on 9/11/25 she was with her manager on duty we she typed the order in wrong than over charged me add everything to one receipt. And the manager who seems like he was in love with her agrees with what she did. Instead of trying to make the situation right. Chipotle really needs to teach their employees better customer service. Will be take this to corporate office. About there manager and employees dating on the job and not hearing the customer when I’m tell you , that im charged twice wouldn’t recommend this chipotle to anyone stay far away from.

Chipotle is always a solid choice when you want something quick but fresh. I like that you can customize your bowl or burrito with plenty of options, and the portions are generous. The food usually tastes fresh, and I appreciate that they offer healthier choices compared to typical fast food. That said, the lines can get long during busy hours, and sometimes the consistency in portion size depends on who’s serving. Overall, it’s a reliable spot for a tasty meal at a reasonable price.

As a vegetarian, Chipotle is usually one of the few fast food places where I can count on a decently balanced, satisfying meal. This location missed the mark. The first employee I interacted with seemed like she really didn’t want to be there. I felt more like I was intruding in her house than ordering food. I asked for brown rice, she gave me white. I let that go, not the end of the world. But when I asked for black beans (the only protein source I was getting), she gave me a tiny amount. When I politely asked for a little more, she added maybe a tablespoon, as if beans were a rare commodity? End result: I had a bowl with mostly white rice, barely any beans, and a pool of bean broth at the bottom. So much of it leaked out that it soaked through and ripped the paper bag. Super messy, not satisfying, and definitely not worth the price. The one saving grace was the second person down the line, who was pleasant and much more generous with toppings. I didn’t even have to ask. But it’s disappointing to walk away with what was basically rice and vegetables swimming in bean broth, with hardly any actual beans in most bites. There wasn’t a line (I came around 7 p.m. and it was raining), so I can’t blame a busy rush, though maybe they were tired near the end of their shift. Hopefully it was just a one-off and not how vegetarian orders are typically handled here.

Disappointed at a Landmark: A Frustrating Experience at Chipotle, Empire State Building Visiting the iconic Empire State Building should be an exciting moment, especially when grabbing a quick bite from a trusted brand like Chipotle. Unfortunately, my recent visit left me with frustration and disappointment — not what anyone expects at one of the most famous landmarks in the world. I stopped by the Chipotle inside the Empire State Building to pick up my usual veggie bowl. Normally, I pay around $15, including chips and a dip. But to my surprise, this time the total came to $21.00 — for a simple veggie bowl. That’s almost $6 more than what I typically pay. Even more surprising, the beans were out of stock, so I asked for queso instead — which is usually just a $1.00 add-on. When I asked the cashier why the total was so high, he rudely responded, “I’m not bothered,” and said he charged me extra for the queso. Instead of $1.00, he added $3.00. Trying to keep calm, I then ordered chips and salsa. My final total was $18.00, but I still wasn’t sure where the charges added up. When I asked for a spoon at the end, the cashier showed me attitude again — clearly uninterested in helping or making things right. This isn’t just about a few extra dollars. It’s about how customers are treated, especially at a tourist-heavy location like the Empire State Building. People from all over the world visit this site, and this kind of behavior can leave a lasting negative impression. Chipotle is known for its consistency and customer service. But this experience left me questioning that reputation. I hope the management at this location takes this seriously and ensures better training and customer care — because small interactions can shape big opinions, especially in a place as iconic as New York City.

I ordered a burrito bowl with steak and they filled it up to the brim!! Every bite I had, had so much steak on the fork they gave me so much steak AND I ordered delivery

So not worth the money. Where is the rice. I’ve eaten here twice and the portion size is crazy. You actually have to ask for extra and then pay $20. They need to keep their utensils stocked. Atleast the first time I went they made the food look like something after I said it looks funny. They told me about the survey for free chips. Yesterday I paid $2.00 for chips that taste old. Get better service, better portion size. CAVA is better y’all.

They had everything available. The new chicken alpastor is good. Guacamole is extra. Burrito on the side is extra. Portion size is reduced for a bowl. The employees were not putting even a spoon of everything ordered. Chipotle is no more a poor man's food. Coming to the place, decent seated space for newyork public. Restroom is available for use to the public. Drinking Water is available. Overall tasty food.

Located in NYC and such a poor service is disappointing, unfriendly staff, no napkins, no cups for water, not that clean which should be, therefore just 1 star for service and atmosphere. Food- Chipotle’s chalupa and tacos taste are better in other chains, you guys getting customers because of the location but you should definitely improve on the cleanliness, service, food.

Busy lunch spot with a fully staffed counter that moves the line efficiently. Plenty of room to sit. Ample portions and scoops - you won’t feel unsatisfied here, I had to leave some in the bowl. Everything tasted fresh. Appreciated everyone’s attention and hard work - the employees are tuned in. Seemed to be a constant set of online/app orders being picked up too.

No napkins, no trays, not clean, trash is full and everywhere, all tables are dirty. Employees don’t feel like working and very rude. Worth Chipotle ever.

DO NOT GO!! They don’t wash their lettuce!! CRAWLING LIVE BUGS !! I left my house early to make sure to get to this location on time so I can grab food before work. 5 minutes before I clocked in I open my bowl to dig in for a bite, just to realize there was BUGS on my lettuce! Not 1, not 2 or even 3! There were about 5 CRAWLING ALIVE BUGS on my lettuce!!! For a food industry spot to have there workers place bad lettuce onto display to serve guests without seeing any of that would be another reason why I would NEVER come back here, IMAGINE what else can go wrong!! I had to use my 30 minute lunch break off work to return to this location just to get a refund, terrible!! DISGUSTING!! UNSANITARY!! CRAWLING BUGS 🤮 I’m glad I also looked too because if I ate without looking I’d probably could’ve gotten really sick as well! If I can rate this Chipotle a negative 0 I would!!!

Its true mexican joint with hundreds of outlets all over USA. Always crowded. Anytime you go you get thefreshest ingredients at CHIPOTLE MEXICAN GRILL. BURRITOS TO BOWLS.....white hearbed rice or brown rice..black or white beans to beef to chicken to pork as choices of meat with lots of accompaniments....love it...

Not a great experience. We thought they was short staffed. Waited 35 min to get a small burrito, with one person in front of me. As we ate our food we noticed bunch of Chipotle workers in the back hanging out. Like 4 people on break? The place is trashy and disgusting. Been here and no one wiped a table. Need to hire more people. No ice, no where to throw trash away.

First impression, this restaurant has potential only these major turn off. Although Love the fact they wear gloves, I can't overlook not remove the gloves and hand on the counter, touching money in between. Just ask to change gloves. Food brown rice and chicken were cold, but well seasoned. Clean store.

I come to this location extremely frequently because it is so close to the Manhattan Center where my church meets for five services. I always order on the Chipotle App before I go, so I do not have to wait on the long line. This day, in particular, I ordered on the app and my food came out quickly, despite there being an extremely long line. I always enjoy my food. Chipotle never disappoints me.
