What clients say about Paradise Club in New York (NY)

Nice space, very modern and clean. The bartenders are great. I came during an open bar for the converse fashion show. Nice stage and the audio was good.

Amazing show at Moonrise. The players put on a top notch show. Very impressive. The entrance activities added a unique experience. Felt like being initiated. Very creative. Cocktails were all amazing. Food was very good - my 1 criticism is that my portion of halibut was very dry (but my partner's portion was not). The short rib was delicious. I loved the presentation of the dessert tower. GiGi, the manager, was also very friendly and chatted with us at the end of the evening. The servers were all friendly. We felt very welcomed to the space. Thank you for a lovely night out! Well worth the travel out of state to visit NYC for this show! We hope to return.

It’s a nightclub in Times Square- what do you expect? The food is run by Chef John Fraser. His Michelin star restaurants are well known in New York. This meal for MOONRISE was a three course prefix. So I don’t have much say over it- But it was tasty for what I paid- My partner has allergies and they were accommodating. The drinks are expensive, but they definitely going to give you a good time. I see people complaining about the prices- But I don’t think they’ve been to New York before.

Club itself was decent and DJ was good. Bartender Kristen needs extreme training on customer service and trained on basic drinks. Bar manager on staff wasn’t helpful and didn’t take ownership. Still paid $68 for 3 drinks that were not drinkable. Marriott shouldn’t send their guests to this club as a partnership as it does not align with the hotel experience.

Went for a Cobrah concert, and honestly was super disappointed. It was a small venue seeming like it was trying to harness the dark/sexy energy of The Box (swings, bdsm, etc), but honestly didnt succeed in the vibe. If anything the audience brought the vibe for the aesthetic. Didn’t help that the DJs were incredibly mid in setting the energy. Felt like the ideas were there, but not the execution. Though, what really bugged me was the prices. I already accept that NYC scalps you for drinks, but this was a whole new level. Cocktails were good but not 25$ good. Thought shots would be cheaper, but they were $20 each for tito shots. I could buy my own bottle with that much. Also the club set a standard of 20% tip, that was circled every time. Bartenders were friendly tho. Could go on about other details, but overall felt like a club posing as a “NYC club,” to charge “NYC prices,” but doesn’t provide the vibes that a NYC club provides for those prices (the box, le bain, basement, joyface, etc).

Came for a Muzika event with paid tickets. Was not expecting to have to wait in line for as long as we did, with security suggesting we slip them cash to get in faster (again, we had paid tickets). Will definitely never come back to this venue again.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Was set up w a female promoter and then when we arrived she wasn’t there?? And was switched to a different promoter outside the club. Extremely rude man with some greasy mustache at the door wouldn’t even look at our ids. Ended up leaving and had a way better night elsewhere. Don’t waste your time or money here
Sep 15, 2024 -
Omg! What a fake place… totally a scam. They ad around free party and if you get ticket on Dice and you go there, they are like “Is it from dice? It’s probably only promotion :) Oh you should pay $50 for cover and $20 for the girl” Pardon?? So do you trick people? (No reason by the way and front of us weird teenagers are getting inside easily) Anyway we paid because didn’t want to waste time. But yeah such a ghetto club. Not local. A gin&tonic is $30 so and i feel like they’re kind of mafia, charging stuff over price

We attended an event after being invited by the host and placed on the VIP guest list. When we arrived, we informed the staff about us being on the VIP guest list, but they did not check our names and allowed others to cut in front of us. After contacting the host, we were told to ask for a specific staff member by name. However, when we asked for her, another staff member referred to us rather sarcastically. Although she stamped our wrists and let us in, we soon realized that we were waiting at the wrong elevator because no staff informed us about the correct path to access the venue. When we tried to wait for the correct elevator, the self-proclaimed "head of security" yelled at us and made us go to the back of the line. Despite telling him multiple times about our VIP status since the time of arrival, he ignored us. When he finally allowed us to access the elevator, he attempted to stamp our wrists again as if he didn't even know that we were already let in (we informed him multiple times). This experience left us feeling disrespected. However, I wasn't surprised by this incident. A journalist friend of mine shared his encounter with me before my visit. He attended an event at the venue to cover it (hosted by his friend). Shockingly, security personnel attempted to extort $50 from him, despite having a valid ticket and a personal invitation from the event host. Due to the discourteous and inept staff, as well as the lack of noteworthy aspects beyond their disrespectful behavior, we regret to inform you that we cannot recommend this establishment to others.

This has to be the sexiest spot to catch avant garde performances and after-dark dinner theater in Midtown Manhattan. I went with my boyfriend to catch Moonrise over the weekend and was totally blown away. From the moment we arrived, we felt transported to an alternate universe (and welcomed it wholeheartedly). The dinner was wonderful from start, to finish. The service was stellar and the drinks were delicious. The show itself was a sight to behold. The performers were next-level talented. I'd recommend a visit to anyone coming into NYC, looking for a unique after-dark experience that's not your run of the mill Broadway show or concert.
Jul 02, 2024 -
As we entered the venue, a man with a mustache approached us. His behavior was peculiar and unsettling from the start. Despite already having our tickets, he rudely demanded additional money. His approach was unprofessional and inappropriate, making us feel awkward and unwelcome!!
Jun 23, 2024 -
Honestly this club is one big embarrassment. Personnel are beyond unprofessional and just plain rude. It resembles more of a strip club than a typical club. We wanted to check it out since we were staying nearby but highly discourage anyone coming here. Security have an attitude, no wonder it was empty and no one wanted to come in. Avoid AT ALL COSTS. NYC has SO many better spots than this. I’ve seen better vibes at a grocery store. And charging $100 cover is just embarrassing ?

my boyfriend bought my friends and i a table so we wouldn’t be treated like trash and somehow the guys out front still made us wait in line and treated us extremely poorly letting people in the other line pay to get in before letting the people WHO PAID THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO BE THERE IN. the short man with the hideous handle bar mustache then proceeded to throw a tantrum when he realized he had messed up. extremely embarrassing and inappropriate behavior. anyways besides the horrible service out front and the questionable crowd they let in this club has serious potential. the DJs are great and they offer delicious mixers at their tables. the bottle girls are also always super sweet!! the cucumber juice is my absolute favorite and probably the only reason i’ve been here more than once.
May 21, 2024 -
Cool venue and solid DJs. No issues at the door, however it did give the vibes of a place that assesses people trying to get in the club. For those complaining, this is unfortunately a common practice amongst many clubs around the city where if you don’t meet certain criteria of the person at the door, you will get charged a ridiculous fee to get in (even if you have tickets) Suggestion is to make sure you look up the place and skim the comments and insta to make sure you fit the vibe
Mar 30, 2024 -
Bartender cut me off... from water... at a rave, after I asked for my SECOND cup (and by cup I mean probably 3-5 ounces of water... a few sips). And my $26 whiskey ginger was nothing special either. Bad vibes in this place. It is clean and a nice physical space but the people working there don't seem too nice.
Mar 18, 2024 -
This was the weirdest experience. Had a reservation at this club which is not cheap. Apparently it doesn’t matter if you have a reservation or are a guest if the hotel. If the door man doesn’t let you in for whatever personal feelings he has, that upholds. This was our case. To this moment I don’t know if this was abuse of power or what to call it but will be informing social me is of this experience. Never again. Was treated with such disgust, attitude and disrespect for people who dropped a good chuck of money just for a reservation. Patronized the hotel restaurant and bar for a door man to decide who gets a stamp. The man with the twisted mustache and the tall black man with a beanie. Shame.
Feb 04, 2024 -
I’ve been to this club in the past and it was nice, not sooo busy but nice. Tonight was told it was a private party and even though being guests at the hotel, was told it is $150 pp. yeah I get it, it might not matter you are a guest or not but I highly doubt it was busy. There was zero people around wanting to get in. I just saw the ropes and thought oh let’s check it out before we call it I night but for $150 for a few minutes I said no thanks we will come back tomorrow. Went to grab pizza down the street, came back and there was a line up of random people. I doubt these people were going to pay that price nor were they part of some “private” party. Not really sure who they think they are but in bad times, I am those people that would support this kind of establishment. I don’t mind to pay cover but if you try to rip me off, no thanks.

Delicious cocktails, terrific decoration. It gives Studio 54 vibes (same owner). I love the terrace for taking fresh air

Stay far away! Went to see a show there with a pricey $200 ticket that included dinner - cold weird appetizers were on our table when we arrived. No waiter came to see us until halfway through the show but they still charged a 20% service charge not just on the price of the drinks and dinner but on the price of the entire ticket. Added in a $30 “show fee” for good measure.
Jan 03, 2023 -
Nice ambience and show was good. But oh my gosh the pricing. High drink prices with mandatory 20% gratuity charged on the event *ticket price*, not just on the drinks, plus additional fees. “Dinner” is a preset table of cold appetizers.
Dec 11, 2022 -
The guy letting people in at the door obviously picks and chooses who to be nice too. Very weird. Pretentious, gate keeping vibe. No cover when we went on a Saturday night. Music was okay? Environment kinda cringe. Just people recording themselves, not really enjoying anything. Bartenders are nice, no menus, no prices displayed.

Paradise Club is the best with a Lovely atmosphere at paradise. Me and my friends had a great time. The service was excellent. Our host was such a delight to us! She was able to get us a section by the counter and helped us out. She was attentive, quick with the bottle service and kept checking up on us to make sure we were okay. If go to paradise ClubI highly recommend to visitors with friendly customer service!

My husband and I had a fantastic evening listening to Sophia Anne Caruso. Her vocals are extraordinary. The club ambiance in the sultry, sexy. The food setups are a bit strange. We shared a table with people we did not know. This is a great way to meet new people.

Food is awful, drinks were so so …ambiance is perfect for a dinner! Good service. But our waiter was about to add an additional 100$ to the bill, and when i asked him he didn’t know why the bill was high. Ha,that’s happening when they trying to get you drunk and than give you an enormous bill!!! Not good! Place overall is good!

Update: we got our jackets back!! They found the person that stole them from the club and contacted her. Thank you! Original post: We had 7 jackets stolen on Friday 8th between 2:30am and 3:15am. We left them between the dj booth and the table on the left - view red arrow on the picture attached. We have tried to call to see if anyone can a look at the cameras but no one picks up the phone. Could you please help us get our jackets back? Pictures below show us before and after jackets. Thanks - Gaby

One of the best spots to go in Manhattan. Show is really incredible and the party is super fun — great mix of people and very fun vibe. Doesn’t feel like you’re in Times Square. It’s the best parts of Studio 54 reinvented for 2019.
Jun 16, 2019 -
What a decadent experience! The tasting menu was incredible - courses coming nonstop that were so delicious. My favorite were the "caviar nachos" - such an interesting surprise. The venue is gorgeous and the show was produced so well - I was impressed because I didn't expect the performers to be so talented for some reason, but they were. The aerialist was particularly amazing. Highly recommend paradise club for a different night out!!
