The lady that helped us with checking in was outstanding. Her personality was amazing. She made our stay.

Stayed 2 weeks. Excellent stay due to its location (used a lot MTA line 2), close to shops, to Brooklyn bridge, to joe´s pizza, blue ribbon sushi. Very clean, spacious, safe. Has laundry on 6th floor. Minor issues: TV, 2 towels instead of 3. There is noise, but you will be able to sleep. It´s Manhattan, noise and light everywhere. Good for families: fridge-oven-microwave. All 3 of us liked our stay. Thanks to all the staff.

Everything about the room was as expected and exactly how it was described. The room was great itself, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Will definitely come here whenever I come back to the city

I love the Mint House at 70 Pine. The rooms are very nice and well appointed. The people are delightfully helpful. Great location near all the good stuff downtown.

This has been my favorite accommodation I've ever booked. The room was spacious and clean and the staff was absolutely amazing. We got stuck in NYC for extra days due to the blizzard and they helped us adjust our reservation multiple times to accommodate this.

I booked a night at this hotel. My daughter became ill on the day I was supposed to check in, but the hotel would not refund me for the night. I understand that I was outside the cancellation window, but I would have gladly accepted a credit. Now, I will not stay at this hotel and I will tell others to avoid it.

I can’t remember everyone’s name unfortunately but every time I stay at The Mint House it’s an exceptional experience: from the front desk staff (Jasmine, Rhysa? and the two other gentleman that work the front desk) all the way to how amazing housekeeping is I can’t say enough! Stanley the manager is also an absolute sweetheart and consummate host. Their locations are my go-to spot for when I travel every couple of months. I absolutely adore the interior designs of the rooms and I always feel right at home with my dogs as well. Thank you again for an amazing stay and I’ll see you guys in a couple of months! ~Mia

Honestly, It doesn’t get better than this Hotel. As much as I’d like to gatekeep this Gem, it deserves all the recognition. 10/10 stay
Feb 17, 2026 -
Excellent location and overall good service. The rooms are extremely well designed and well furnished. Ours had a great sound system. My main complaint is their logistics. First, there is no card system. You must have a six digit code to use the elevator and unlock your room. This is very inconvenient compared to a card or fob system, although I guess one need not worry about losing the card 🙄. Second, there is no landline for room service. You must call their national telephone number and wait to be connected to a support staff member. There’s no way to directly call the site’s front desk directly. Frankly, this is far less convenient for the guest.

We booked four rooms at Mint House for a group trip to NYC. We felt like we were the only guests in the place as 'T' provided suggestions for dining and directions for sites around town. She and the staff were extremely helpful during check-in and couldn't have been more gracious in helping with our needs in getting the large group settled in. The rooms were clean and spacious, perfect for our needs, and the location was good, within short walking distance to subway lines. Mint House is highly recommended and we will stay again when we travel to NYC.

I'm tempted not to write about how great Mint House is because I don't want everyone to know and then I can't get a room. I stay there 2 or 3 times a month and it is fabulous.Rooms so big that they could easily be your apartment. Incredible staff (esp. Thanary!) who are so helpful. Best hotel I've ever stayed in. And I have stayed there dozens of times.
Feb 06, 2026 -
Nice hotel with big rooms. Only thing I dont like is that they dont have touch card to operate lift or open room. They gave us numeric code for this which i am not really fan of as half of time room doesnt open as I am putting it bit fast. Also it was bit noisy during my visit late night probabely due to construction work.

4.5 really Spacious studio apartment in the financial district Great location for downtown Manhattan (Wall Street and Financial district). Spectacular art deco building - most noticeable in the ground floor areas. There's a big supermarket in the basement, and plenty of good places to eat nearby. There's several nearby metro stations, one of which has an entrance right across the street. Comfortable, spacious room (once we sorted out the slightly confusing temperature controls). Fun fact: it included a working vinyl record player. Super friendly staff that tried really hard to help us out with the water issue (see below). Our room was on floor 6, and the shower temperature was marginal. It got a little better on the third request to improve things, but it was never hot - apparently it's a problem with being on the top floor. (Water pressure was fine, and the shower otherwise great.) Room temperature control is super confusing. Instead of a room key, you get given a 6-digit code to memorize, which was. little tedious - it's needed in the lift, too. We were given tokens for drinks in the fancy restaurant on the ground floor, but they only work for cocktails, not wine. Even though the kitchen items were washed up for us, we never got a replacement for the pour-coffee pouch. But these are minor. It was a great place to stay.

We had such an amazing experience. Mostly because of our new friend ’T’. She is so kind and helped us with everything we needed. She greeted us everyday and always had a positive attitude. Our room was awesome. I highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you T!!!

When I come to NYC I stay at the Mint House. Wall Street is very quiet at night and this building/hotel are so quiet at night. I enjoy the "seclusion" and quiet here. Very close to the MTA where I can go where I need at very little cost/fuss. Plenty of food/restaurant options near by. I will continue to come here for sure.

We had an excellent stay at the Mint House at 70 Pine. The apartment we had very very spacious and clean apartment. The Kitchen had everything you needed. The staff at the Hotel is amazing, the apartment was cleaned every day (better than most Hotels). The location of Mint House is very convenient and close to restaurants, coffee shops and transit. Will definitely stay there again.

Horrible service. Money grab. Trying to charge me 1000 dollars because they found the end of a smoked joint, not mine. No burn damage. No mention of smell. I would not and did not smoke in this hotel room, as I'm asthmatic. nor was anything damaged to incur 1000$. Getting refunded by my bank.

One of the best hotels in the financial District of Manhattan. The bar in the lobby was amazing the rooftop bar I’ve never seen any better views of a city. The rooms were great. The staff was amazing shot out to T. She was amazing. Brought me a birthday cake to my door 30 minutes after checking in and everything was 5 to 15 minute walk from food to coffee, The liquor store is right at the corner. We couldn’t have picked a better hotel.

Outstanding experience- stay was stress free, and staff went out of there way to accommodate. Spacious suites containing everything needed for pampered stay and more! Audiophiles- Each room is equipped with a turntable with records that you pick out in main lobby! Very good coffee shop on main floor and the Over Story observatory bar on there 64th floor makes this a perfect stay. Reservations and booking services are run on line only- was difficult getting someone on phone for questions, however emails and texts were answered within the hour. Highly recommended to the discerning traveler wishing a different prospective view of NYC!!

The Mint house never ceases to amaze me! This was my first time staying at the NYC location and it was a memorable and unique experience, just as I knew it would be. Gizzel at the front desk was absolutely wonderful and such a gracious hostess. When my husband and I arrived, flustered from our long trip, she kindly helped me book an extra night and even showed me a tour of their room options for future travels to the city as I will be frequently visiting Manhattan in the next year. The gentleman at the front desk also helped my husband and were always so patient and accommodating. I’ll probably be back in November, that’s how amazing this hotel and their staff are! My dogs always love cuddling in their plush beds as well. Thank you again beautiful Gizzel and the rest of Mint House!

We had a wonderful stay at the Mint House over a weekend. It is located inside a beautiful art deco high rise and the room/bathroom were huge by NY standards. The room came with a mini-kitchen and record player. We never heard a sound from other guests and even the street noise was minimal. The bed and pillows were perfect. The Mint is conveniently located near two subway lines, we always felt safe walking around, even at night, and there are food options around every corner, including an excellent coffee shop (Black Fox) in the building lobby. The communication with the hotel (both email and texts) was spot on and very helpful. All of the FiDi/Wall Street points of interest are nearby - I would highly recommend.

After searching for large place with low noise I bet on this place and I will be back. The rooms are massive for NYC, the amenities are top notch, the service is superb. You will not find a hotel like this price. The elevator code system is a bit annoying. Use the supermarket downstairs, it has everything. We rented the studio with couch

Best experience staying in New York yet. From the get go, David took exceptional care making sure our stay was a great experience. He’s literally the best. All the staff, were always friendly and accommodating. Best dining experiences in the hotel as well. I highly recommend staying in spacious comfort at the Mint with everything you need for your stay at your fingertips.

We loved our stay! It was like having our own apartment in the city. Great kitchen space and bathroom. Comfy bed. Quiet. There is a grocery in the building and a subway station across the street. Very convenient!

Like the Place Maker on Wall Street, the rooms are enormous, even by non-New York City standards. There is no good place to unload your luggage on Pine Street. There’s a little curb across the street from an inactive garage where you can park temporarily, but it’s not ideal. If you have a lot of luggage, you may wanna unload on Pearl Street, as there are places to pull over there. Overall, our room (410) was excellent. The only issue was that the bathroom vanity was falling apart, which I made them aware of. Hopefully, they will fix it. They use a code system for the elevators and the rooms, and it failed on us about three times. So we had to go downstairs and get a new code, which was annoying. The staff was super friendly, and the building has a cool art deco lobby with restaurants and a coffee shop. It’s a great location; if you have a family, it’s an excellent setup.

Positives: Beautiful, spacious upgraded studio room perfect for families. Exceptionally comfortable bed/mattress. Helpful staff and clean facilities. Great for toddlers with plenty of space to move around. Negatives: Poor signage makes entrance hard to find. False fire alarm at 2am with no communication from staff - very concerning with a child. Nightly vehicle beeping noise (I think from garbage truck but unsure) from 1-2am daily on street-side rooms. Hotel phone/text numbers don't work reliably. One-way street location causes taxi issues if you have a lot of luggage. Housekeeping come daily but don't seem to vacuum the floors - can be annoying if you have baby/toddler/young children. Bottom line: Lovely room and comfort, but communication issues and noise problems affected our stay. Would recommend requesting courtyard-side rooms, if possible.

Loved my stay at the Mint house, we stayed in the studio plus room. We went to New York to celebrate our anniversary, the atmosphere was phenomenal. The room was super clean, the amenities were spot on! The only thing that I was not happy with was the fact that I felt like I could hear everything through the walls, the door and the windows. But that's not enough of a reason to not give this place 5 Stars. The Mint house is definitely a place that I can see myself staying again!!!

The largest room i have ever seen in Manhattan. Great accommodations inside the room. We got the cheapest room and it was around 220 through expedia for a Saturday in August. Super clean and the shower was huge. Staff were super friendly. Only complaint was the TV, zero channels and apps were not working well.

Heads up- if you're booking from hotels.com and think you're getting a view, you're not. The front desk said no rooms have views. Absolutely everything else was great. Huge rooms with every amenity. Great location. Even the queen sofa was comfortable. Lots to do within walking distance and easy to get to from Penn Station. I'd stay here again!

Great location next to Wall Street subway station. Spacious apartments, suitable solution for longer stay, allowing you to do some food shopping as required. A couple of handy mini-markets around the corner, well stocked with fruit, vegetables, and fresh meat. The coffee supplied in the apartment isn't great, but there are plenty of nice coffee shops around the corner. Laundry service is also handy, $2.75 per laundry cycle. Reception staff are helpful and available 24/7. There is a gym with all you need, plenty of space, open until late during the week. We stayed at the 5th floor, there was a construction site right across the street during our stay, so you could still hear noise, but not enough to disturb us.
