I came in with a pair of glasses that had the wrong prescription, and Lamont was so thorough and took care of placing an updated order. He also helped me out with tuning up my spare glasses so they’re presentable while I wait for my new pair. Thanks Lamont, you’re the best!

This was my first time going there. Although my prescription couldn't be made because they are too strong, I did find a cute pair of affordable everyday wear frames. The optical there are very friendly and attentive to your needs I was assisted right away.

My appointment was exactly at the time they gave and I had two booked, one for my son and one for myself. The staff was very professional and approachable; I was helped as soon as I walked in and everyone I encountered was pleasant and knowledgeable. Definitely will come back for future eye care and wear.

Great selection of frames at fair prices. Dr Fleysmakher was amazingly detailed and went the extra mile to look into an issue I am having. Kim was super patient while I tried on every frame in the shop, and did it with a smile.

Marielle was deeply helpful and patient while guiding me thru understanding frames and fits. It definitely made me feel confident in deciding which 2 frames to commit to - which is huge for me as a indecisive person ? Shout-out to you, girl!

Had a quick, easy, informative, and painless experience with the Warby Parker team. Exam was well explained and pricing was laid out in an easy and non-intimidating way and both the tech and the optometrist were incredibly kind. The sales team made check out smooth and quick.

Staff are friendly and attentive , even during a pretty busy Saturday afternoon. I was immediately greeted and placed on the waitlist to see the optician to get a frame adjustment - was called in about 5 minutes. Ant was especially kind and patient with me , and gave me advice on what looked good and fit my face better - which for an indecisive gal like me was super appreciated!

Terrific experience all round. Dr Reyes, my ophthalmologist, did a very thorough exam and explained everything clearly, making me feel very comfortable and well cared for. Then I great frame advice from my sales associate, Nick, and a very easy fitting for my new prescription glasses from Kim, the store’s optician. 10/10, thanks ladies.

My partner was looking for glasses and he made the experience fun and easy. He explained the prescription details and answered all of our questions. I came here for a simple DMV vision screening, which costs $25. Despite being able to make out the chart, I was told that she "could not pass me" and would need a “full” eye exam instead, which is $135. This didn't sit right with me, especially since I recently got my license and passed the DMV vision requirement without issue. I, ultimately, went to an independently owned pharmacy on the DMV’s approved vision registry. Not only did they conduct the DMV test correctly, but I passed instantly, with no hesitation and no suggestion of needing further exams. I also learned something important: the DMV standard only requires being able to read the 20/40 line with one eye. Not both. At Warby Parker, I was never even asked to read that line before being told I failed. The pricing jump from $25 to $135 makes the experience feel less like an objective medical screening and more like a sales tactic. I left with the feeling that once I paid for the full exam, the next step would likely have been purchasing frames for my “new” prescription. A prescription I apparently didn’t need, given that I passed the DMV test elsewhere with ease. If the DMV thinks my eyesight is safe enough to drive, I’m not sure why Warby Parker believes it isn’t, unless the test here is designed to lead everyone to a $135 full exam and, eventually, a pair of glasses. Which is unfortunate, because I've always considered purchasing frames from this company, but this experience left a bad first impression. I recommend that anyone seeking the DMV screening go to an independent provider instead. You’ll get an accurate test without unnecessary pressure, added costs, or doubts about your eyesight.

Amazing experience. Antonio helped us out with choosing 2 pairs of glasses for my husband. And we got them with a big discount so it basically became almost 2 for 1!

Great experience, helpful staff, and affordable selection! Note to WP, Inc: The lighting in the store is glaring/harsh (like a doctor's office, in a bad way) and made it harder to decide. Regardless, I'm confident I found a great pair of glasses that are an almost perfect match to an expensive designer brand, but for a great price.

I had a great experience with Antonio at Warby Parker. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about frame styles and fit. He took the time to understand what I was looking for and helped me find the perfect pair without any pressure. His customer service was excellent!

I love Warby Parker in general, but this Union Square store has a special place in my heart, because I was treated with such care and attention by one of their employees. Ant is their name. I needed help to fix the only pair of glasses I had. Despite the fact It wasn’t a WB frame, they didn’t hesitate when I walked in, fixed my glasses on the spot and refused to charge for it. They are the best!

This was an INCREDIBLY smooth experience :) I scheduled my eye exam an hour before it started, arrived, and checked in easily. I was greeted right away when I entered by the sweet employee up front and then I browsed around while I waited for my appointment time. Gracie was so kind and informative during my appointment. Everything that was happening was explained to me in an easy to understand way, and she was so nice the whole time. Dr. Fleyshmakher was efficient, kind, and informative as well :) after I got my prescription, Zach (unsure of proper spelling), helped me find frames within MINUTES. He knew what questions to ask and what to recommend. Although I couldn’t afford the add ons to the prescription, everyone was informative about their benefits! Best of all, I didn’t feel heavily pressured to add the add-ons. They were offered to me and when I declined, Zach in no way made me feel bad for not adding them on (which has not always been my experience with glasses shopping at other brands). Big 10/10 to this staff, they deserve any possible praise and recognition possible :)

The manager at the Union Square Warby Parker (Hakim?) is an absolute G. He and the staff were really top notch. He is so knowledgeable and friendly. He even spent the extra time helping me replace a damaged pair of glasses. I didn't have to do a thing and he made it so quick and easy. Don't go anywhere else. Thanks Again guys!

First time WP shopper today. I brought in rx from a doctor who doesn't provide materials. I always say advertising is irrelevant (if I don't want a Prius, it doesn't matter how many times I have to see the commercial) but in cases where the consumer may not have brand awareness, I see (haha) it works. Price, selection and hipness are as advertised. Might could use more locations, but OK. Best part of the shopping experience was the friendly helpful technician, Vilma. Although I ended up with the style I had in mind going in, she picked out several other good frames, and explained the different options for lenses. Seemed to be only one or maybe two other techs on duty at the moment, but evidently I picked a slow hour, so I was in and out in maybe 20 minutes. Style and quality of frames look good, and my lenses are way out of date, so I am looking forward to picking up my new glasses next week.

Been a customer for several years now, usually at the Greene St store in Soho, NY. Always great service. But since having moved, went to the store on E.15th on 5th Ave. for new pair, and was assisted by Ariel. She was so patient and helpful, not only in picking new glasses, but also with new prescription, which I had questions on since getting prescription readers. She's phenomenal and hope she gets a raise!

Very good experience, Zach was great in assisting me with my purchase. He didn’t miss a beat, he recommend frames without being overwhelming, told me what looked better, gave me additional options when I needed it and answered all of my questions efficiently and politely. I was in and out with glasses ordered within 30 minutes. I would recommend it! And give Zach a raise, he was great to work with!

Stopped by today for an exam and new glasses, the assistant/nurse and eye doctor were super meticulous and detailed with their work! I was greeted and helped the whole time by Rory, who was so incredibly sweet and patient as we tried to pick out a frame best suited for my eye shape and she walked me through each step of customizing my new pair of glasses. This is definitely my new favorite WP location! Will be coming back many more times in the future.

Union Square is on a roll today - every store my son and I have visited has been absolutely amazing. The staff at this location is truly fantastic - they treated us with such kindness and respect. It's such a refreshing change to be treated like normal people, especially when we've experienced discrimination elsewhere. I can wholeheartedly recommend this location 100%! When I went in looking for glasses for my son, whose prescription frequently changes, we found a pair that he absolutely adored. The pricing was exactly what I was looking for, between $100 and $150 - such a great value for the quality we received. Our glasses will arrive by March 14th, and the best part is that no expert is needed for the fitting. I am eagerly anticipating receiving them!
