Terrible customer service. Be very careful shopping here they over price their items, and when some things go on sale, you get to the cash register & its regular price. This has been going on for years and they get mad when you bring to their attention.

I work next door . Everyday I have to clock in by 7 am. Every time I come in this supermarket at 7am to get a sandwich deli guy tell me he is closed . I come at 7:05 , 7:10 he is closed, I can’t win overall I stopped going . Customer service extremely sucks at the Deli, he always have an attitude because I stopped him from flirting with me so he is big mad since then he has been closed for me lol . Do your job. Thank you

Clean, well stocked. Cooked food. Great staff. I think the deli guys are the best. Great sandwiches and the best coffee in the neighborhood.

Unprofessional management. I called to inform them of an error in my employee packaged food (plantains) and he simply said I’m lying. No apology no benefit of the doubt. Just being defensive when I didn’t even want a refund nor was I hostile. Horrible.

Excellent....everything on.there shelves are in order employee's are very friendly and helpful. Cashier was funny and nice. She said the whole time which is my personal mantra "if you want it you got it ". Wish men would say that more to us hard working ladies. Lol. Great store. Everything thing is easy to find and fresh. Please shop in your neighborhood so that these supermarkets can remain in YOUR neighborhood.

I was not only ignored by most of the employees but they bumped into me as if I wasn't even standing there and then were very rude when they did web eventually acknowledge me! F this place! I won't spend a single cent here!

They have a lot of extremely overpriced random items. Why would i ever pay $6.50 on Chips Ahoy cookies? That just makes no sense. Even at CVS i can get those for $3 all the time. I never pay more than $5.

This Supermarket had many of names and now it's called Cherry Valley Marketplace. The prices are marked up extremely and the cashier's are very unprofessional. They assume everyone is stealing who is non Hispanic and the atmosphere that their employees creates for the shoppers is a unpleasant vibe. I would definitely recommend that people go somewhere else to spend their hard earned money with another establishment who appreciate the support from the community. Even if you have to walk an extra 10 blocks like I do. Shop where you will be respected as a customer.

DO NOT VISIT. POOR SERVICE. Place used to be great, but got much worse in service in around 2019, and prices are not competitive. On my last visit they didn't let me in to the store cause i had backpack I didn't want to leave at the entrance.

Overpriced products, less than quality meats, and the staff could use customer service training. Watch out for food poisoning and if you buy meat or milk cook and drink immediately because it will spoil within a day or two.

Items are ridiculously overpriced. Keep your eyes on the screen when cashier is scanning groceries. Some sale items don't scan sale price and you get charged more. New supermarket opened on 116th St between 1st and 2nd Ave. I suggest you shop there instead.

54 year old woman couldn't buy a $7 bottle of sangria with 6% alcohol without ID but I can go buy hard liquor from any liquor store with no problem. I don't care how well a person takes care of themselves, they will not look 20 years old at 54 years of age.

Great little grocery before with big amount of items. I go here for shopping mainly for preserved items like noodles, Rice's, eggs, oils, flour, popcorn, chips, soda. The vegetables and fruits could be more fresh or at least cheaper. There is something always disappointing about how the fruits are down to ripe or only seven lemons and all are weird looking. So, if you have non fruits and vegetables, I recommend.

A good enough selection, but ended up leaving without buying any of the 4 things that caught my eye. These guys really ought to work on visibly pricing their merchandise.

Not really worth it. Meat and frozen food is overpriced, deli guy is barely there, frozen food section is really lacking (and overpriced) and whenever there's a sale you can count on the item not registering correctly at the counter. Check your receipt! You're better off going to Target. You'll at lest save $2 on TV dinners and ice cream.

Some of the cashier are rude no eye contact normally on looking at phone screens or talking to a fellow cashiers or just dont seem to want to be at work I over heard one cashier tell a customer very loudly that the food stamp machine was broken to the customer's shocked expression said I'm paying cash why would you even assume because I'm black cashier did not apologize I just shook my head in this place needs customer service training and fast with alot of other to shop and with competitive pricing you need a loyalty from your client and build but it doesn't seem important I'm probably not the first to complain about this

Lines get long, but service is nice. Always check you meat. They will not replace spoil meat without receipt. I don't buy meats here

This supermarket is 24hrs which is the best part. Their choices for vegetables are not the best pick, there usually rotting or not fresh at all. I tried various occasions and its always the samething ...mold on vegetables or flimsy greens. Feels like they buy from the bottom to make their profits greater... the meat department samething. I ended up going vegetarian so thankful to look away...the supermarket is organized but noticed they need to upgrade their system, they have long lines sometimes bc while they accept WIC they have to manually search and put the amount of purchase for the WIC participants. You ll be waiting on line forever for this process...instead of scan and go...so prepare for the wait if you are a participant or have one on line in front of you. Sale prices are competitive with others and prepare for the cat smell around bakery section..needs improvement but thankful for the option of being 24hrs.

I'm blessed to have a local market that's 24 hours! The staff is very nice and will help bag all of your items and the like. The produce selection is great and the sales are even better! 3 dozen eggs for 5 bucks? Seriously, I lived in Maryland until a few weeks ago. Never seen a sale like that! The meat sections are good, the pork shoulders are overpriced unfortunately but you can get a good steak for around 4 bucks! Always a winner in my book! I highly recommend!

Besides an adequate selection considering the immediate area and an all-around pleasant shopping experience, mgmt treated me with the utmost courtesy and respect when items brought to their attention required adjustment going so far as to check the videotape discreetly for verification of claims. All personnel are courteous and professional right down to the gentlemen bagging groceries.

Verry Racist towards blacks.. Every time I would go into this store the fake security guard literally follows me around the store it's rude & ridiculous. After a few months I finally went to him and ask why every time I shop here you must follow and watch me I never stole anything from here plus I live a block away, He then ask me in a heavy accent "if this is my home then proceeds to say No, okay, then waves his hand at me. I just walked back to the register and refunded all of my things and said I will NEVER step foot in here again and I will make sure anyone I know don't either. If you are Black/African American/ or Native DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH THEM. You're better off in Aldi or Target.

First it's convincingly open 24hrs, it isn't as small as others say. Some staff are very helpful. I must agree though that when you buy meat on sale you must check it.

I come here for my sliced cheese and other items that are on sale. The deli counter workers are very friendly and helpful. Most of the cashiers are Spanish speaking and have a hard time understanding English. They should have MORE English speaking workers. Also, the prices are relatively high, much better off going to Aldi's and/or Target for groceries.

Formerly known as differently named supermarkets (c-town), they have changed a lot! Thanks gentrification! But I do like that there is more selections of healthier options though the prices on some things are a bit much. It is also 24 hours now so that's a plus for customers not so much employees.

Watch your price round up! They have tried to overcharge me for items.. Assuming something cost after not being able to scan the item. After 4 years.. the smell of dead animal or spoiled milk is still lingering near the back near the corner by the freezer section. At least it is 24 hours now. They have a no bag rule at night which they expect you to leave your bag with them while you shop. Assuming due to theft? Of course it is also sexually biased since they allow females to walk around with large purses.

Everyday this place gets worse and worse. People dont speak english at all and that is what makes it really hard place shop. Specially in the heart of Manhattan. Service is good but again, you cant judge what you cant understand and I cant understand a thing they say.

There are a dysfunctional supermarket they always hiring people I believe the people on the cash register's are under the books . I went to the supermarket today and ask for the sugar this was on special well the girl didn't understand English and proceeded to charge me an extra bag of sugar The one that is not on sale I had to keep repeating what's going on even the person that was bagging didn't understand English either. I was there for 25 minutes just to explain and receive the right sugar bag. I live across the street and I hate that supermarket so bad that I have to walk from 115 to 116 Lexington to go to city market that supermarket is much better the people is Spanish but understand English and talk English back . I feel that this supermarket should hire girls that talk and understand both languages. But instead they rather hire girls that are a part of their family or their friends family
