I' am very disappointed with the customer service.
I received a terrarium as a birthday gift, purchased from this shop, with a value of around $300. In less than one year, the terrarium’s lighting system stopped working, and the plants began to deteriorate as a result.
I visited the store three separate times trying to resolve this issue. On my first visit, I simply asked for the name or contact information of the distributor or brand, since there was no label on the product. I was asked to leave my phone number but no one ever contacted me. I returned about a month later, as the plants were clearly suffering. Again, I asked for help or guidance not a refund, not a replacement, just assistance in identifying the product and the willingness to pay for replacing the light. Once again, I left my contact information and never heard back. Today was my third visit, and unfortunately, the situation was exactly the same no follow-up, no solution, no accountability.The three ladies who were present made me feel at fault simply because the product was not purchased yesterday. They did not seem willing to help or provide a proper explanation, and once again, for the third time, the owner was not present in the store, making it clear that the issue was not considered their concern.
To be clear: I never asked for a refund or a new product. I only asked for help replacing the light or for contact information for the distributor. That was never provided.
For a company where I have spent a significant amount of money over the years including having trusted them in the past with the boutonnière for the groom and the flowers for the ladies at my own wedding etc this level of service is unacceptable. The products are expensive, and without proper customer support, I cannot recommend purchasing plants or terrariums here.
While they do have beautiful flowers, they are extremely overpriced, and unfortunately it feels like the owner does not care much about customer experience or follow-up. At this price point, I would expect much more professionalism and accountability.
Great experience! The attendee, Angy, was mindful of my budget and made an effort to make sure I was happy with the bouquet. She asked for color scheme and flower types. Cannot recommend this place enough! The flowers are slightly pricey but SO worth it.
Shu’s Flower is truly a gem in SoHo. Their hand-tied bouquets and floral arrangements are of the highest quality and truly exude elegance. If anyone wants to just walk in and pick up beautiful flowers in the area, I absolutely recommend going to Shu’s Flower. They never disappoint!

- they had a QR code on the terranrium I bought which gave me care instructions ✅

My fiancé and I stopped in this afternoon for a quick, stupid question(in my opinion) for something simple we were looking for with seeds we previously bought, and the woman(didn’t get her name) who helped us was so passionate, personable, and honest in her knowledge and expertise. Totally went out her way to make sure we got 2 cute little pots and asked us to send an update after they start growing, which we will do! Such a GREAT experience and she made us feel so welcome!
Shu(assuming the owners name) made a really pretty bouquet. She has an excellent choice of choosing the flowers in certain occasions. Thank you Shu!!!❤️❤️❤️ definitely coming back!

I raced to their shop in a panic and they dropped everything to help me out. Within 2 hours, they had beautiful arrangements at my door. Lovely shop and beautiful arrangements.
Bouquet looked beautiful when I first purchased, it was a mix of pink and orange vibrant colors. After 24 hours all of the colors faded to white and 48 hours after the flowers were all dead (even after properly caring for them). For such an expensive bouquet I was very disappointed. The woman who put the bouquet together was also not friendly.

This past summer, we used Shu’s for our wedding flowers and completely loved what we got. They were able to meet our expectation of the bouquet from a few photos we showed them of what we wanted. They came out gorgeous! If you’re looking for a place to cater your flower needs, this is where you can find it.
Went to purchase flowers for my mother’s birthday. I wasn’t sure what to get. The florist was very helpful and knowledgeable in helping me select a bouquet. The flowers were fresh and a great price. I would definitely go back again.
Shu’s Flower simply the BEST. Their attention to detail is impeccable. They are creative, unique and there is nothing they can’t do. Shu’s Flower is my only go to florist. Whether you order online or go directly to their shop the quality and attention to detail is always the same. Love my girls at Shu’s Flower !

I received roses for my anniversary. In less than two days they looked horrible. Dead, waiting and baby’s breath made a mess everywhere. Unacceptable. Horrible horrible quality flowers. So disappointed
Flowers are bought for special occasions, but come to this place if you want to feel stress and treated poorly. Came to pick up two flower arrangements at 11 AM (when they open) for my sister’s wedding that afternoon, and was met with a store attendant who was very rude. She could not locate one of the orders (the bouquet) that was paid for and was very difficult when I explained that I was there for 2 arrangements and made it seem like I was an inconvenience to her because I came when they opened. I asked if it was possible for her to make a new bouquet given the circumstances that wedding was happening within hours AND the fact that we placed the order - she all but laughed in my face at the request, and when the bride showed up with the charges on her card for the flowers, the store attendant was able to find the second order slip (after not even looking upon first request), and was not apologetic at all. I will also mention that I was extremely polite during this entire ordeal in order to try to get this new bouquet as smoothly as possible. I could NOT recommend this place any less.
I had a very bad experience at this flower store. It was I paid 80$ for what was suppose to be a bouquet but consisted of 4 flowers without any creative intention or effort. The green leafs started falling out as soon as I took the bouquet and I started noticing that the other flowers were bruised. I buy flowers quite often in this area in manhattan and this was the worst experience. I would recommend other shops with a more creative approach and a better deal.

Grumpy and unhelpful owner or associate, don’t know if she owns the establishment but definitely didn’t make me want to go back. Pushy and without tactfulness. I always go to SUNNY’s Florist on 2nd ave but she was closed and I came here and what a disappointment. Zero enthusiasm, zero kindness, zero desire to create a beautiful arrangement, very standoffish. At Sunny’s you get the most exquisite bouquet for $15 and here I spent $30 for something not even half as nice. Not recommended.
Immensely overpriced and poor selection. Tried to charge me $60 and $38 for two small succulents. Reading these other reviews it is funny to me the storeperson will laugh at you for complaining about the prices considering any decently priced spot will sell you the exact same things (and will have a better selection) for easily 1/4th of the price.
Maybe the flowers are amazing but it sounds like theyre not. They do sell some unique pots here but otherwise do not give it your business- super overpriced and bad selection.

I ordered flowers from here for Valentine’s Day and have never been so disappointed with a purchase. All of the flowers that were supposed to beautiful were browning, wilting, and drooping all down. It was an expensive arrangement and not at all worth the money. Even the greenery was drooping and hanging over the sides on the first day they came in. Very disappointing experience
A secret garden full of absolutely beautiful (and unique) flowers & plants! Shu is also incredibly helpful and great with recommendations. If you’re looking for some striking additions to your home, this is the place.
I walked in not knowing exactly what I wanted, but I left with a beautiful bouquet of flowers that my girlfriend loved. The peony even bloomed while we were out, which the lady totally called ;).
The lady working at the time was patient while she worked with me and offered many combinations in the price range I set. Their prices were also reasonable and comparable to the websites I usually purchase flowers from.
I not usually take the time for this but I am extremely happy with the service I received today. I was be able to order a bouquet and deliver for my sister the same day in quite short time of period. I called in the morning and Caitlin helped me thou the process and she created an amazing bouquet for me! thank you so much for the help and gave you guys 5 start!!!
Don't go never ever ever! I got 4 roses for $70. It was my first time to buy some flowers in America so i didn't know about the prices. But i realized i've got dumped off a lot!
$70 for just bunch of flowers? He just calls ridiculous prices. How unprofessional! I'm not gonna go there again!
