One of my favorite places while visiting NY! The quick service allowed us enough time before dashing to the theatre right around the block. The dumplings were piping hot and fresh and the drinks were perfect. Can’t wait to go back!!

Food is fantastic- loved everything. Service was not the greatest, but no qualms besides that. Great late-night spot, felt lively

The food here was so delicious! Came out very fast, fresh, and steaming hot. My favorites were the chicken soup dumplings and Mongolian beef. The service was also amazing. Definitely come here if you are in the Hell’s Kitchen/restaurant row area!

The restaurant is really good. We did not have a reservation so our wait time was around 25 minutes, the first thing to open up was 2 seats at the bar. It was a good spot at the end and we were ready to eat. We had a wonderful experience at Dim Sum Palace this was our last night in NYC and we wanted some good Soup Dumplings. This place did not disappoint! The orders come out as prepared which is great, everything comes out hot and fresh. We ordered Chicken Soup Dumplings, Vegetable Spring Rolls, BBQ Pork Buns and Chicken Fried Rice. Each item came out quickly - hot, fresh and absolutely delicious. Our service was great at the bar, drinks refreshed and checked on us to ensure we had what we needed, more duck sauce, order something else or clear plates to give us room. It was a great dinner!

Fantastic food and service. The ambiance is not super fancy, but the food and service make up for it. You HAVE to try this place!

It’s nice to have a late night dim sum spot in Hell’s Kitchen, BUT I am always disappointed when dim sum restaurants misrepresent their portions when it comes to their Cheung Fun / Steamed Rice Rolls. Clearly they have 3 rolls pictured in their ordering sheet / photo, but they end up only serving 2. A reduction of a dish by 33% in order to incentivize the customer to order more… Redo your menus or serve what is pictured/expected.

I loved it. Came here after a concert because they are open late which is so nice. Lots of options including for vegetarians. We loved everything we ordered and it came out fast.

Food was great but they were so busy that they could not take orders properly and never brings things at first request. I guess they are severely understaffed.

We have been visiting Dim Sum Palace for 3 years in a row and it continues to be a stand out restaurant in NYC. The restaurant is newly renovated and the upgrades are fantastic. The food is something that we dream about all year. We order a variety of Dim Sum, a noodle dish and a chicken entree. Kevin, thank you for your kindness and hospitality. Everything came out delicious! Pork soup dumplings were delicious, shrimp rice cake were very sweet and sticky, and I highly recommend the duck spring rolls and shrimp shu mai!

I’ve been here before and I am never disappointed. I ordered the spare ribs, B.B.Q pork buns, and the Crabmeat and Pork Soup dumplings. Like always, I was blown away. Can’t recommend this place enough!

We had a group of 8 and surprisingly got a table in the back no wait! We thoroughly enjoyed having the turn table to be able to share all the different appetizers and entrees we tried. I had my first soup dumplings here and they were delightful. The staff was beyond helpful and attentive. We were served very quickly. Food was hot, seasoned well, and just delish! I plan on returning anytime I'm in the area. I only got one picture because we were enjoying the moment and it was just a wonderful experience that we will remember forever.

Such a cute place to come and chill while walking around time square! Half off drinks until 5pm (i came on a Monday while visiting NYC with my husband! Everyone is really friendly and helpful! We will definitely be coming back!

The food was fantastic! The sesame chicken, shrimp lo mein and the pork soup dumplings were fantastic! The atmosphere is very casual (almost like a cafeteria) and there was definitely a language barrier. There was also weird miscommunication with the staff -- they brought our beverages twice and the pacing of when our dishes came to the table was inconsistent. But the food WAY more than made up for it. It's always a good sign when you see most of the diners are locals. It was a fantastic experience for some authentic food. It was also the only restaurant we've been to in our week in NYC that has a wait, and to-go orders were flowing out of the kitchen and crowding the bar. Washed the dumplings down with a reasonably priced bottle of sake. Highly recommend.

My recent dinner at Dim Sum Palace was truly outstanding. The quality and flavor of every dish easily set this restaurant apart. This is certainly a highlight among New York's dim sum offerings. Beyond the incredible food, the service was noteworthy. Our server, Sing, provided great service throughout. He was professional, highly attentive, and ensured a seamless, enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. I highly recommend Dim Sum Palace to anyone seeking both top-tier food and impeccable service. We will definitely be returning.

The food was amazing, especially the lobsters, which were definitely our favorite. They were so good that we couldn’t resist ordering two plates! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We’ll definitely be back again soon!

Great and pretty authentic dim sum. Great pictures on the menu that allows for easy picking. I highly recommend the soup dumplings. We went for the sidewalk seating and it was a lovely experience. Service was quick and polite. Dishes delivered quickly. However, they forgot one dish for us. They quickly brought it out for us though when we pointed out. Nice and clean bathrooms. 5% discount if you use cash. Nice.

Visited with family and had a mixed experience. It took quite a while for anyone to bring us water, and when it finally came, there was residue floating in some glasses and no ice in others. The dim sum took a long time to come out and arrived one item at a time, which made the meal feel disjointed. Some highlights: the boiled short rib was very flavorful, the green tea was nice and comforting, and the congee with thousand-year-old egg was well done. On the downside, the shrimp rice noodle roll was sloppily rolled and lacked the usual finesse. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but the slow service and inconsistencies bring it down to a 3-star for us.

I’ve been coming to Dim Sum Palace on 46th Street for over three years, and it continues to be my go-to spot for Chinese food and dim sum in NYC. Hands down, the best I’ve had in the city—consistently delicious, incredibly fast service, and the friendliest staff. If you’re looking for must-tries, don’t miss the soup dumplings (they’re perfection), the spicy cucumbers, the pillowy taro buns, the vegetable lo mein, and the best orange chicken I’ve ever had. Whether it’s a post-Broadway bite (they’re open till 1am!), a pre-show dinner, or a midday catch-up with friends, Dim Sum Palace always hits the spot. Run, don’t walk.

Dim Sum Palace – West 46th Street, NYC We stopped by Dim Sum Palace on West 46th Street and were really impressed—especially by the vegetarian dim sum platter, which came with a great variety of dumplings that were light, flavorful, and perfectly steamed. The scallion pancakes were crispy on the outside, soft inside, and packed with that rich, savory scallion flavor. We also had the spring rolls, which were golden, crunchy, and not at all greasy. The restaurant has a nice, clean interior with a relaxed, slightly upscale feel, and it’s open late, which is a huge plus in Midtown. Loved the amount of vegetarian options on the menu—definitely a great spot for plant-based dim sum lovers!

Had some craving for dim sum and DimSum Palace just perfectly fit the bill. Parties 5 and up need reservations to guarantee a table. Less can walk in, but I've seen the place with a line outside. So roll of the dice. We were lucky when we decided to go. Got seated right away. The menu for dim sim was huge. You order from a menu sheet that has pictures of what you're ordering. Noice touch. The regular menu was just as big and boy, did we order quite a few items and, as a dim sum officionado, I can say everything was soooo good. Prices were typical for Ney York. Quick, no nonsense service. Will definitely return whenever I go back to NYC. Photos to follow.

We loved everything about our experience. Every single detail is a five star, from food and cocktails to ambiance and service. 10/10 I highly recommend. They even brought out a birthday dessert for my niece! Don’t miss this place! The three of us ate well and have leftovers.

Went in on Friday night week before Christmas after seeing a show nearby at about 945pm. Seated quickly and it was decently busy. You get a paper picture order menu and a pencil to X on the items you want. The dim sum was fresh, hot and the flavors were good. They have a cocktail menu too. Overall was a great spot for the price.

Absolutely delicious food and an amazing experience! Our server was top-notch—super professional and lightning-fast in delivering our dinner. He anticipated our needs, refilling our water without us even having to ask! We can't wait to return for more incredible dishes when those cravings hit. This place is a must-visit! We also were able to practice our Chinese with them : )
