What clients say about POP MART in New York (NY)

Great place to find gifts for your friends. It got different types of toys and plushies. Today they didn’t have bags to give so make sure you bring your own.

Unhelpful staff can’t even answer basic questions about the store and products which is unfortunate because the store is well organized. The managers are very nice, knowledgeable and have great customer service. Employees need to be trained more

I was disappointed with my experience at Pop Mart. I purchased a Labubu as a gift, but my niece already had the same one. When I went back to the store to do an even exchange, I was told that exchanges are not allowed unless the item is damaged. There were no signs in the store explaining this policy. The only place it appears is on the receipt, which you receive after purchasing. If I had known this policy beforehand, I would not have made the purchase—especially since it took me over an hour to travel to the store. I believe better customer service would include clearly informing customers of this policy before they buy. A simple sign at the register would make a big difference.

This store has more diverse options for blind boxes than the one in flushing but the service is terrible. There were about 5 employees by the register speaking loudly and bad about customers. I saw a couple of people leave because of their rude behavior and I definitely do not blame them. The employees that were guarding the blind boxes were just quiet and not helpful. It was overall really uncomfortable experience. 1/13/25

The service here is pretty rude. Everything is mystery. So you spend $20 on a little figurine and you have no idea what it is. I spent $52 on two figurines that were mystery that ended up being junk. Add on top of that five staff members who are rude and doing nothing. Only one person was working the cash register the rest we’re chatting.

My daughter had to get a labooboo. The store is stocked with all the items she wanted. The staff is great. Even though it was crowded, the lines moved quickly to checkout. The store is near the world trade center memorial in a mall that has an entrance that looks like a white spikey building.

I was curious to know what one of the labubu series were called I had never seen them before! I asked this young man with curly hair what series these figures were from and he replied with such a snarky manner saying “we’re out of stock.” thanks but that wasn’t my question so I asked him if he knew the name at least and he told me “google them and it’ll pop up.” well again thanks for (none of) your help, I could’ve done that in the first place anyways :) the label on the display was mislabelled which was why i asked

This is a review for the POP MART store in the Oculus, I visited around 10 AM on November 26th 2025, it was not crowded whatsoever. I have read other reviews saying the store is small and cramped, I did not feel that way when I was there. Maybe from what I can gather they recently moved to a better store/location. The store was on the 2nd floor. I went to get my daughter some Labubus, they had plenty available. We got a BIE and an exciting Macaron. There was also lots of different sized ones available. I will attach some pics. Also I seen other reviews saying there were no bags, however this was not the case, we got a bag for our Labubus when we left, so maybe they upgraded.

Guess the hype is dying down for Labubus, came back to see what blind boxes were available and they had a bunch of Big Into Energy and Labubu Pin For Love Series. They have most of the blind boxes available on their website, I guess who with the overproduction, bad quality control and price increase a while back that there is less demand. Two employees working when I stopped on a Tuesday evening but they did have the hiring sign.
Nov 27, 2025 -
I had a very disappointing experience here. I bought a set which was not what I wanna buy by accident and requested to exchange almost immediately (even not leaving the store). However the cashier told me this is FINAL SALE where I neither could find a sign for it, nor got informed when I paid for it. I asked where i could know this was final sale, and the humorous thing happened. One cashier told me that I could find this was final sale on my receipt. ARE YOU KIDDING? It means you can only know its final sale after you have already bought it if my understanding is correct. OKAY that’s fine don’t wanna waste my time on figuring this out but yeah be careful when you shop here.

Went here on my vacation, had the absolute worst experience ever. As soon as we walked in one of the employees was already yelling at customers. We got up to the cash and I turned to ask my dad a question, we were next in line and the lady at front literally looked at us , snapped and said let’s go guys , yelling at us as if we were toddlers. Then we got up to the front, she didn’t even aknowladge us she scanned then cued the debit machine for us. After , my dad asked for a receipt and she literally said “ if I had receipt paper don’t you think I’d give you one” laughing and yelling at us.. it was absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had in a store. All the other employees seemed to be scared of her as well but no one said anything. She was definitely the rudest person I have ever met and shouldn’t be working in retail. I was very much looking forward to going to my first pop mart but this was not a good experience. Don’t go here if you don’t want to get yelled at by strangers.

Great store for kids and young adult. I found lots of things for my young ones in family.
Nov 11, 2025 -
Such a cute little store. I came in to see if by some infinitesimal chance they had any Labubus. I asked a helpful employee who directed me to the register where I was able to select a big into energy blind box! The cashier was friendly and let ppl choose whichever box they wanted from the shelf behind the register. You never know so if you're nearby might as well stop in to see if you'll be lucky enough to snag something. Lots of other non-Labubu toys and figurines available too.

Our obsession lately and they now have it in NYC located in the Oculus mall on the second floor. This was a nice store but still only had a small selection and some old but not all the latest models. Prices are going up and probably due to tariff price hikes. The staff are helpful when they can. Would still come back to browse when I come back again.
Oct 26, 2025 -
Might be a little biased because I got the box I really wanted, but I would recommend this PopMart because they actually had a good amount of labubus in the back especially the Coca-Cola they cost $50. I was so tempted to get one, but I ended up getting the Lububu cup and I got the one I wanted. I am absolutely obsessed with that pop mart series. They also have a lot of the popular brands like crybaby, skull panda, molly, hirono, pucky!!!!, twinkle twinkle would buy again.
Oct 15, 2025 -
It is a charming store inside the Oculus. Although the figures on display may not be available, the store offers many other options.
Oct 06, 2025 -
Pop Mart is a colorful, eye-catching store that feels like stepping into a playful art gallery mixed with a toy wonderland. Its shelves are lined with rows of beautifully designed “blind box” collectibles—small figurines sealed in mystery packaging, so you never know which character you’ll get until you open it. The designs range from cute and whimsical to edgy and artistic, featuring collaborations with well-known artists and Pop Mart’s own iconic characters like Molly, Dimoo, and Skullpanda.

Easy peasy pick up order from the app. The tourists clog up the store (just like they do everywhere else in the Oculus/entire city) so it's very difficult to look around at anything else they have. One thing that I didn't catch while I was in the store was that the woman asked me if I needed a bag, I didn't because I always have a reusable on me. However, on my receipt from the app it automatically charged me for a bag due to the laws of the city. Its only 50 cents but that's still wack, make sure u get the bag. As a side note though ... my Labubu looks ugly ? I actually think my Lafufus look way cuter. This one has a slightly off center eye and it looks so cock-eyed.

They reopened as a new location! Apparently a few days ago? (Today is 8/8/2025) but no labubu vinyl plush blind boxes were in stock. Also some of the new items such as KUBO city of sunset which is available online from 8/7 was not available at this store!
Aug 09, 2025 -
Went to this location for a Labubu pickup. Small store but lots of options. Pros: They actually had Labubus for sale (Wings of Fortune and Coke - 2 per person). Beautiful understanding “Sister” that worked fast. Cons: Manager is rude (tall guy). Cashier wasn’t knowledgeable (brunette). No shopping bags. They really expect you to carry boxes out of the store in your hand if you don’t have a bag with you. SMH

I recently visited the Pop Mart store at the World Trade Center and was honestly disappointed. The store is small with limited stock, and they’re currently in the process of relocating just a few stalls down. What caught my eye initially were the open-box figures displayed in plastic bins—Pino Jelly, Hirono, Pucky, Molly, Labubu—all mixed together, many missing body parts or accessories. It felt more like a flea market dig than a curated retail experience. While rummaging through the bins was oddly fun at first, I was shocked to learn they were being sold at full retail price. These are clearly used or display items with missing parts, no boxes, no cards, and no QR codes—yet they’re priced the same as new, sealed ones. That makes no sense. To make matters worse, the staff were quite rude. I understand it can be chaotic with customers digging through bins, but yelling out in an annoyed tone that there are “no discounts” doesn’t help the atmosphere. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. Pop Mart, your designs are great, but this approach feels like you're just trying to squeeze money out of collectors without respecting the experience or the value of your own products. I left without buying anything—and honestly, that says it all.

Ugh ? very disappointed. Why all other trendy shops are so big BUT pop mart shop is so tiny. Like Miniso, Teso life, Friends…etc. The shop is located inside the World Trade Center Cortlandt on the 2nd level. This shop is so small, even smaller than the one in Maryland and Las Vegas. You are better off finding more things online than come in here, had to deal with the unruly crowd. Don’t recommend to purposely make a trip here, unless you are happen to in the area. The location is convenient, close to everything, with subway access inside the cortlandt. The only restroom facility of the place is all the in a corder of the building.

This is such a fun store and definitely recommend if you’re in the area. The staff are amazing and kind, pretty chill and don’t cause any issues. They had a pretty good stock but did not have everything I was looking for. Do note they do not sell Labubus, you have to do online store pickup only. Overall this is a great store! ✨

I went to the store today and there's nothing wrong with the staff or anything like that, the only down side is that the store is VERY small and majority of the time you will always find it full so It was super cramped when I went in. There's also not a lot of selections for the mystery boxes, but I didn't wanna leave empty-handed, so I got a DIMOO world box! Overall, I wish it was a little bigger, and hopefully, they get more different mystery boxes

I recently visited the Pop Mart store in New York and had mixed feelings about the experience. While I was excited to finally check out a physical Pop Mart location, I have to admit the visit didn’t quite meet my expectations. First of all, the store was quite hard to find. It’s tucked away in a location that isn’t very visible or clearly marked, which made getting there a bit frustrating. I actually walked past it once without even realizing it was there. For a brand as popular as Pop Mart, I expected the store to be easier to locate and a bit more inviting from the outside. Once inside, I was surprised by how small the space was. It felt cramped, especially when there were more than a few customers browsing. The selection of items was also quite limited. I was hoping to see a wide range of collectible toys and maybe some exclusive items, but the inventory seemed basic and not very diverse. Overall, while it was still fun to visit and see the displays, I left feeling a little underwhelmed. It’s worth a quick stop if you’re a fan, but don’t expect too much.

very small store. Line outside of it. Employee that I spoke to was un-engaging. I walked up to her and she was in the middle of a conversation with her friend apparently. I stood around and waited and she didn’t bother to ask if i needed help with anything. Very subpar customer service. I got impatient and cut off their convo by saying excuse me to ask if they had Labubus in stock. She responded quickly and dry that they were “sold out” of Labubus but told me they have them for store pick up only. What does that even mean ? Do you have them or are you sold out? Doesn’t make sense to me. Im guessing store pick up means you order them online and pick them up there but that just seems like a waste when you’re actually there IN PERSON. Even worse would be waiting in the line to then go inside and be told they’re sold out. Thankfully I did not do that. Seemed like that employee was more interested in chatting with her friend than assisting a customer. ??♂️ should probably find better employees.

Great store for all the popmart items they sell. It’s small but packed with a lot of items. The staff isn’t very nice or helpful. Kind of rude at times but they are very young so not too surprised. Great store regardless although it can get busy.

For a small little thing this place is nice! But common how small can this place be :) they have a lot of cool stuff and it’s right inside the oculus so it’s kind of nice. Definitely check them out!

I came here about 3 times already. Staff is great. First time I came, they had everything I wanted, but I only purchased 2 Molly sets, a Molly action figure (should've bought more of those, they were gone the next week), and the two cute girls who worked there convinced me to buy the Labubu plush keychain. I'm glad I bought it, the character is slowly growing on me. Second time I went, they didn't have the Molly stuff I wanted ready, but they did have a Zsiga set that I wanted ready. They only had one Molly set I wanted but it wasn't ready on the sales floor so they had it ready for me the next day and I came to pick it up. They are very helpful and quiet and they didn't bombard me with questions or follow me around the store lol. I hope next time I go, they could have the Baby Molly set and the Boring Day With Molly set, and maybe some more Molly action figures. I love Molly a lot, just not a huge fan of space Molly haha.

The staff at this location was incredible -- available, knowledge, and enthusiastic! They made my shopping process fun, with genuine interest and excitement in my purchases. They knew what was available online relative to store and truly made my experience. Concerning the store more generally, it was well ordered, displays were always full (I noticed quick restocking), and it had good variety. Converted to in-store shopping when possible from here on out. <3
