Small but great selection of fruit and veg. Even dairy and fish.

We went to Norwich Meadow farms past few weeks - each time, we were scammed by the vendor. They have a rigged scale that weighs much heavier than fair amount and they do it intentionally to cheat the customers. It is not just a scale malfunction. We bought handful of tomatoes, eggplants, bell peppers and a lot of corns - the two girls at the register told us it’s $98. We contested and let them do it again in front of our eyes when we count - the same result. We contested again and the older guy came in like it happened last time and fixed the scale and it became $50 at third time. I asked a lot of questions but nobody answered. I said “what was the mistake?” Responded by silence, twice. They do it knowingly. There were three kinds of eggplants and they didn’t even ask which once but just put the highest price too. We were beyond disappointed and I won’t trust this scammer and won’t buy there anymore and you shouldn’t either. Who knows if that’s even organic or even farm made. I know it’s a relatively new vendor but organizer shouldn’t allow criminal group ripping off from customers in front of your face. I will be reporting this to NYPD and 311 today. I wonder if GrowNY knowingly allowing this kind of activities or do something to intervene. Let’s see. It is illegal what Norwich Meadows people do and shouldn’t be in NYC to disgrace all the other fair farmers. This happened not just once — they will tell you it’s broken scale. No- they do it to scam you and let you spend more than you should. I mean, $98 for a bag full of veggies.

Great little farmers market.

Not a terrible market, I don't get why some still don't take card or android or apple pay.

This farmers market is the most go to everything is fresh and delicious and well priced

It's never been an error that I've driven hours to get to this place and all of your vegetables and fruits have been nutritious to eat. Perhaps the prices were much cheaper than the mall. My family was pleased that they had the fruits that they longed for and needed to enjoy. Right now, I'm the happiest wife. I'm going to keep coming here for more. Thank you very much for that.

They have an excellent farmers market every Wednesday

I love this green market although it is only once a week I never missed it. You can buy really fresh vegetables ( including organic) and fruits from the local farmers. Bakeries sell fresh made breads and pies as well as selection of gluten free products.Fresh fish stall is not to be missed ! Fantastic athmoshpere !

If you are looking for fresh fruits and vegetables, you should definitely try the Farmers' Market every Wednesday from 7:30am to 2pm. Excellent quality, and the taste is completely different than the supermarket fruits and vegetables.

Fresh farmed vegetables at reasonable prices. Huge bunches of kale and scallions for less than $3!

My favorite local green market. Every Wednesday, fresh, reasonable and friendly people.

Great place to chill out in midtown. More vendors in the Summer but about 12 - 15 in Winter. Green MKT on Wednesdays. Otherwise just a chill place to hang out of your stuck in an office most of the day. Composting at the Green Market also through grow NYC

Great selection but on the pricey side, which of course is not surprising for this part of the city.

I enjoy coming here. I find the fruit and vegetables good. The pastry is very good. I come here every Wednesday.

Great to have the market for some fresh veggies and fruit. We also use the compost drop-off. Wish they were open more days of the week.

I love this market. It's not very big, but vendors offer great produce, baked goods, and cheeses among other offerings. There's an apple vendor with a couple dozen fresh orchard varieties, some very unusual ones, and the cost is less per pound than regular supermarket apples. I love the breads from Francesca's Bakery. The market is year-around and a great asset to the Turtle Bay neighborhood Midtown East. Plus, Dag Hammarskjold Plaza park is a really nice place to enjoy lunch.

Farm fresh produce, meat, fish, dairy, bakeries on Wednesdays 12 months of the year except when the UN is in session

Great green market with a nice variety of items, but only on Wednesdays unfortunately. They do run year round so they are there even in the winter months. The plaza is quite spacious and they're using only about half of it.

One of the smaller out door markets but they have a great selection of organic vegetables cheeses and jams and they change vendors so sometimes you have different options and they have a compost station which is really cool

Not too many options. If you want apples or to be lectured about energy usage this is a great market.
