We had an amazing experience at Brooks Brothers Rockefeller! We worked with Chancis, and she truly made the entire process special. She had the best energy, was such a sweetheart, and immediately made both my husband and me feel comfortable and confident. We came in for two suits, and the tailoring experience was incredible. Two weeks later, we returned to pick them up, and both suits fit my husband perfectly. We are so happy with the service, craftsmanship, and overall experience. Highly recommend this location and working with Chancis!

I had a great shopping experience. Chanchis was increadibly helpful and made it a very easy task for a last minute outfit. I highly recommend this store as the staff is knowledgeable of body type and style.

I live in Dallas, Texas and was hunting down the last of two pairs of holiday plaid trousers and the Rockefeller store showed to have them. I place a phone call and spoke to Choudry. He was so helpful, found the pants and called me right back arranging for them to be shipped. He also followed up with there tracking number. I will always contact him now for anything I need assistance with. Highly recommend this salesman and store location!

Had a really great experience with Andrew. Super patient, charming, and knowledgeable. Helped me for about an hour picking out a selection of shirts and dress pants. Amazing service, manners, and hospitality. Thank you Andrew, you made the entire experience a pleasure.

Had a wonderful experience at this location - my fiancé and I came to get him a new suit and as soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Chancis who was incredible. We ended up getting fitted for a new suit and picked it up a week later - it’s perfect and he loves it - shoutout to Chancis - we will be back!

Went in on a Friday afternoon, needing a new suit for Monday evening. Between salesman Xavier and master tailor Jorge I was fitted and alterations were completed with time to spare.

Best retail experience I’ve ever had. Faisal was the absolute best salesman and helped me with everything I needed. If only more retail stores had managers like Faisal—they’d be doing much better!

I was looking for a jacket that was sold out online. I asked a worker for help looking for the jacket in-store at the FIDI location. A worker, Rick, helped me look for it and when it was not in-store, he called three other locations for me! Rick went above and beyond to help me find the jacket I was looking for. Amazing customer service!!! He was so helpful and kind. Thank you Rick!

Horrible customer service. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION! I am a huge fan of Brooks Brothers. Up until today, I had never had a bad experience at one of the stores. I walked in, was not greeted by anyone. I wondered around the store and picked out a few pairs of trousers I wanted to try on. I went to the fitting room area and stood there for 5 minutes as employees walked by (seemingly ignoring me). I ended up getting in the checkout line to get assistance. I realized that the length of the trousers would need to be altered. There was a gentleman assisting another customer in the formal wear area so I waited politely for him to finish. The employee finished helping the other customer, then just flat out ignored me and disappeared. I stood there for another 5 minutes as employees walked by until I realized that I was obviously not welcome and my business was not appreciated. I really needed a belt so I did decide to buy that. At the counter I told the associate about the experience and how I felt not welcome. He apologized but didn’t offer to do anything (like help me with the trousers), he just rung me up. This cemented that I was not deemed important. The crazy thing is, I was wearing formal wear and a wool Brooks Brothers top coat. I don’t know how you could be dressed more fitting for the store. You shouldn’t ignore any customers but definitely not ones that are clearly loyal to the brand. I hope I can get a chance to share this experience with management.

Most atrocious customer service experience of my life I order shirts whose colours is not specified. They arrive and seem purple so I contact BB saying I expected these to be navy as that was my desired colour They confirm it is their navy actually - no change vs prior navy from BB I decide to then keep them I use them and still believe it’s purple. This time “surprise surprise” they confirm it’s purple. No t just that, they confirm via showing that in their back office database it is purple. Obviously the customer never sees that To make it even worse, they prove I knew it was purple using a made up order, where they even have wrong sizes (different from mine!) Stay away!

My son Eric and I went to Brooks Brothers to get a suit for Eric. We were helped by Molly Sullivan, who was absolutely terrific! She took great care of us!

NYC has no shortage of clothing shops/tailors but Brooks Brothers Midtown has become my go-to for dress shirts, suits, tuxes, and even some casual ware. The whole staff is wonderful; Eric Araya in particular has been working with me for a few years. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable, and he always goes above and beyond with recommendations. Nothing but good things to say about him and the entire store!

Amazing service and professionalism at this location. I was lucky and fortunate to meet Mr. Hamza Elharchaout who was beyond Amazing. Very charming young man. Hamza loves his job and knows every detail about making you look the best. Very detail oriented and advise you in every step of your suit journey. The entire team makes you feel at homes and comfortable. The manager Mr. Faisal and Supervisor Mr. Eric were also very nice and kind to give their input in designing your suit. It was an amazing and awesome experience. They have made me a life long client of Brooks Brothers. Kudos to the entire team.

As a word of friendly advice, you may want to skip calling the store. While the young lady who answers the phone is perfectly pleasant and polite, she appears to have only a passing acquaintance with the merchandise — a surprising twist for someone working in retail. Even more ironically, when she transfers you to her manager for clarity, things don’t improve much. He, too, seems to be navigating the world of fashion with the lights off. It’s an oddly charming setup — like asking for wine recommendations at a hardware store. Proceed accordingly.

I love Brooks Brothers, but keep in mind that this location is considerably smaller than expected, as is their store on Madison Avenue, about 35 blocks away. The shop staff were friendly but the store felt limited in both off the rack suiting options and available shirt patterns, outerwear and accessories. If you’re in Midtown and need something in a bind, this location might just work for you.

I had the pleasure of working with Anton and Corinne on a MTM tuxedo for my upcoming wedding. They both were very cordial and professional. Corinne took my measurements like a pro. Anton was very patient with me as he held my hand throughout the entire process. I ended up purchasing the entire get up (suit, bowtie, shirt, cummerbund, shoes) with Anton's assistance. I was very pleased with the outcome and service here!

I had the pleasure of working with Supervisor Anton and the in-store professional tailor, Mohamed. I purchased a suit online, but when it arrived, I noticed that the jacket cuffs and pant legs were too long. This is clearly visible in the photos I took before the alterations. I asked Anton if tailoring services were available, and he immediately used the wireless intercom to call Mohamed to assist me. In the fitting room—equipped with four large mirrors—I was able to view the suit from all angles while standing on a platform. Mohamed was incredibly meticulous. He carefully adjusted the fit and took precise measurements. For the sleeves and pant hems, he even used a white erasable marker to fine-tune the adjustments. Later, Anton joined us and impressed me with his thoughtful communication. He asked what kind of dress shoes I usually wear, since shoe style can affect how the pant length appears. I told him I wasn’t wearing my usual shoes, and he followed up by asking if my regular dress shoes had laces—which they do. That level of attention to detail really stood out to me. Before the pickup, I called the store. A staff member, George, confirmed that the suit would be ready on the scheduled date. Attached are two photos—before and after the alteration—taken by Anton. You can see that Mohamed did a fabulous job tailoring the jacket cuffs and the bottom hem of the pants. Overall, I truly appreciated their expertise, clear communication, and genuine care for customer needs.

I live across the country, but save all of my shopping for when I come to NYC for work because of the service I receive here. Hamza is always extremely helpful and communicative. Whether I am purchasing a new suit/shirt or asking for an update on an order or alteration, he is very thorough and thoughtful in his responses. There are also many other associates that have also helped out and provided their expertise as needed such as Anton, Timur, and Erik T. I always look forward to my next visit and appreciate the excellence the gentlemen mentioned above provide time and time again.

Eric is INCREDIBLE. He took care of styling me before my wedding. We worked on a AMAZING custom dinner jacket. I lost of weight right before the wedding and he pulled off a miracle and did a last minute alteration for me. I great store in general but Eric is super special. Definitely ask for him when you go, and ask him about custom suits, jackets and shirts! They are more affordable than you think! Highly recommended.

The Definition of elite conservative American men’s clothing store. Like my forefathers I have been viciously loyal to brand and continue only to purchase its high quality traditionally styled items which I treasure and now share with my son.

It reminded me about the style my grandfather used to like, I will follow his advice and get a nice jacket.

The staff was helpful and professional, even though it took me a solid two hours to choose a suit and shirts. It’s a smallish store but their cellar has extra stock so they can often find sizes and patterns that aren’t on the shelves. It was a great experience, especially thanks to Eric.
