Me and a friend saw BLACK GIRL: Linguistic Play which was about young African American women dancing through live music and a mix of modern and ancestral African-American movement traditions--stepping, Double Dutch and Juba. The performance was outstanding.
The New Victory theater small and intimate. The process to get in was seamless and they had sufficient staff to accommodate the crowds. The seats were comfortable and you didn't feel like you were sitting on top of your neighbor.
The theater is in an excellent location with tons of public transportation at your footstep. I will definitely check out some other events at this theater.
That Aladdin show was amazing ❤️ that broadway show with the parking bundle came in handy! We were coming from LI & running late but we got to park quickly at the nearest parking garage and we got to run to the show asap. As soon as we got to the theatre, they seated us right away. We didn't have to look for our seat ourselves so it was easy, and as soon as we sat down, the show started like 30 seconds later. Everything was perfect. The theatre was gorgeous, the view was amazing, the show was amazing, everything was perfect. We had the greatest time. ❤️?
Really cool and fun experience. The theater is accomodating with cultural pass program for NYC residents. The circus is not the most heart-throbbing but it’s really entertaining given a diversity of performers from different ages and physicality.
Our family of four had a phenomenal experience seeing Mario the Maker Magician at the New Victory Theater. The show itself was inventive, engaging, and genuinely magical—a huge hit with both the kids and the adults!
The theater experience was equally impressive. The staff was incredibly organized and "on the ball" from the moment we walked in, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The space is maintained beautifully and felt very clean.
One of the best features of the New Victory is its size and layout; it’s perfectly intimate, meaning every seat offers a great view of the stage. This made the performance even more enjoyable.

Venue is beautiful and state-of- the-art. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Specializing in fun family friendly shows and acts. While targeted towards entertainment for kids, the programming is also enjoyable for "kids" of all ages.

Zap Circus “MOYA” and it was an incredible production! The cast, music, story, and choreography were all top notch. Every age would enjoy this show and I highly recommend it while it is still playing in the city. We loved every minute.
Saw "The Magic City" by Manual Cinema and it was amazing! Incredibly creative use if different storytelling techniques. And the kids always love hanging out in the playroom before shows and getting to do pictures with the performers after the show.
My granddaughter and I had the pleasure of seeing a show at The New Victory Theater. Such a beautiful place. Love the bee theme of the decor. We had great orchestra seats. Staff was very helpful polite friendly and welcoming. We love this place. Ain't Nothing But A Word was a marvelous show showcasing dance expression and movement through hip hop ballet and break dancing. My granddaughter took Ballet the show inspired her to maybe try hip hop now. A wonderful experience her first time at the theater but not her last. Not even the wet cold rainy evening could spoil our evening.
we saw Yuletide Factory here - the show itself was excellent - incredible performers. we especially liked the contortionist and the german wheel. the venue itself is welcoming, and i love that the entire layout is so well thought-out for families and activities. affordable snacks and drinks (water is $1!). really clean bathrooms. would come back in a heartbeat!
We attended on sensory night, which means the show has no intermission and is not as loud. The actual performance lasted 55 minutes, and my kids enjoyed it. The theater had a cozy corner and the cafeteria had tables for arts and crafts before the show, and they also provided little hand fidgets.
Got free tickets to see I Wish through culture pass. It was a one-man show with a very sweet message and the theater experience was very kid friendly. The story itself was just very lackluster. It was quite forgettable and incoherent until the very end. Was still fun to spend the day at the theater with my 6 year old, but wish it had been a better show.
It was my first time at the theater to see the 360 All Stars. It's a family-friendly theater with a concession area selling healthy and affordable snacks and activities before and after the show. They also provide sensory toys and headphones. In addition, there is a cozy area for children who need a break. These were all major pluses.
The only issue I didn't like was waiting in the lobby or hallway for theater doors to open, like 5 minutes before 2 p.m. It was overwhelming, and there were too many people on top of one another. At least open the doors 15 minutes before the show starts.
I can't believe the quality of art, the accessibility offered families with children of ALL abilities & the friendly, inclusive, and warm staff The New Victory Theatre continues to grace our city with. Each production is better than the next & we always have a wonderful time & learn something new, its so enriching to share with our little one. Also deeply appreciate how affordable it is for a family! The New Victory is smashing it at every turn. ?Bravo?
Amazing! My 9 year old and I were visiting nyc for spring break and loved our evening a new victory. The theater was lovely and the show was amazing. Would certainly attend again and give it 10 stars if we could. Highly recommended!
Such a family friendly, colorful and clean theater. Perfectly sized for your Littles. Even our teen was impressed by the show (Zephyr). Amazing cast and acrobatics. A great family option for an NYC theater experience that is reasonably priced and a break from the craziness of Times Square.
It's a smaller theater that mostly does cultural shows, the seats are pretty standard Broadway size. Visibility is decent. Bathroom is all the way on the ground floor. We enjoyed the show and planning to come again in the future.

Friendly, welcoming children's theatre space. I attended Circus Abyssinia as an adult without children. The staff were welcoming, kind and respectful to the audience members of all ages. They created a very safe environment. And the circus is wonderful. A vibrant talented group of performers. And I bet you'll see some circus stunts you've never seen before! They deserve a sold out house every night.
Oh! And they have free lockers where you can leave your coats and stuff.
This is one of our family's favorite outings! They bring in fantastic troupes for a wide variety of cultural and artistic experiences that both kids and adults enjoy. Ticket prices and member terms can't be beat, too!
An incredible venue for children’s theater - most of which will entertain and mesmerize adults at least a much as little people. They’re breadth of programming is astounding, and they do a lot to support bringing in attendees who can’t usually afford or have access to the theater.
We went to see Mr. Poppers Penguins and it was fantastic. Looks like a real theatre but the experience is intended see for kids with pre and post show activities, reasonable snacks, and our tux were just $25 each.
