I love the large selection of high quality paper and gift boxes that City Papery offers. Their paper products are a pleasure to inscribe calligraphy on. Their store is massive, staff is knowledgeable, and their paper selection is excellent.

fairly large stationery and print shop filled with colorful paper, gift wrap and gift boxes, greeting cards, paper-related items, and so much more. there are so much packed into this store neatly and merchandised creatively. it's nicely lit and stores like this are a rare gem in the city as many stationery stores of this size have disappeared. this store is especially busy during holiday windows throughout the year and also does a lot of work as a custom print shop for events and such. they also carry small gifty items and journal / sketch books. it's cool that stores like City Papery are thriving as shopping for items like this are way more satisfying as tactile experiences as opposed to virtual ones online.
We worked with City Papery to print our invites, menus, place cards, and table numbers, and were more than thrilled! They were extremely helpful in determining which paper to go with, helping balance quality and value. Plus, they were extremely quick, printing everything within just a day or two. Highly recommend for any printing!

I truly couldn’t be more impressed with City Papery! I got all of my wedding stationary printed with them. Turnaround time was absurdly quick, even with me making several adjustments throughout the process. I worked with Arman & Pouya. They were extremely helpful and knew their stuff. I was super particular and everything came out STUNNING!

I cannot recommend City Papery enough!! Pouya was a LIFESAVER with my wedding invites on a tight schedule. I originally thought I’d print my invitations at Staples, buy the envelopes I wanted, and print the addresses at home. However, when I walked in (quite frazzled), Pouya calmly and patiently walked me through my options. The paper quality here was unmatched, and even though it ended up “costing more” it was entirely worth it. After a couple of hours trying to print at home, I came BACK to have City Papery also print my envelopes. I will continue to joyfully recommend their services and come back in the future! We had a great experience working with Poula and Maggie on our custom wedding invitation suite. They couldn't have been more helpful and patient, explaining all the options across paper-types, printing styles, etc. And SO fast (it took less than a week after placing my order before it was ready to pick up). Highly recommend for other brides and grooms who have no idea where to start (Etsy template -> Canva design -> City Papery).
Good selection of a variety of paper and gift wraps. They also have a small fabric section at the back. I was looking for a wider variety of gift bags but wasn't satisfied. However definitely worth stopping by to check their options. They have many nice cards.

I rarely leave reviews but City Papery was truly amazing - Pouya and his team saved the day for me & my wedding. They helped me turn around a ton of wedding print materials (menus, signs, vow holders and more) within 2 days, and everything turned out beautifully!
They are also one of the few places that does white ink printing on colored paper which is another HUGE plus. AND they have the best prices I’ve seen in NYC. This will be my go to place for all future printing needs!

They are so easy to work with! I made one trip to pick all the paper stock for the various items I’d need for my wedding - from there it was just emailing them files and coming in to pick up the items. They were super helpful w templates and recommendations. Will absolutely use them again.
I couldn't recommend City Papery enough! First of all, they have a HUGE selection of paper options to choose from, all of such high quality. The printing team was extremely helpful in giving recommendations and accommodating my need for proofing and printing for a very short timeline. The final products were perfect, and I would definitely never hesitate to use their services again!
I can't stress enough how wonderful the people and the service is at City Papery. I came to them to print my custom wedding invitations and the staff was extremely attentive, patient, and knowledgeable on the printing process and what types of paper I should use for what I am looking for. I will be back! Offer letterpress printing, die cut, and truly anything you can imagine.
We had a truly fantastic 11/10 experience with City Papery. My fiance and I had a large wedding suite to print (invitations with multiple inserts, dinner menus, drink menus, ceremony pamplets, etc) and everything was done to perfection. The designs we had were done with watercolor and the final results made it look like each individual print was hand done.
The complexity of our entire job cannot be understated, but City Papery handled it with expertise. Pouya and David specifically helped us and were absolutely wonderful. They allowed us to sit there with them to review test prints, make design changes to the files, and test print again. Pouya specifically was wonderful to work with. He was easy going, had expert knowledge, and was very patient with us throughout the entire process.
I'd recommend to anybody who needs professional quality printing of any kind.
Highly recommend! Really great print work, I brought in custom envelopes that they matched the font of the return addresses and printed mailing addresses right on the front for me. David was such a help, I emailed him Sunday night and came in Monday and they were done within 40 minutes. I will be back!
I’ve been a customer at this store from it’s very opening. It’s amazing to see how much it’s grown and the amazing variety of products they sell. Everything from gorgeous wrapping paper and beautiful envelopes to art supplies and fabrics. You can find anything. Very clean, very organized. Not to mention the staff is amazing, extremely kind, and always willing to help. Shoutout to Arman! And if you ever need a print job done, this is the place to go. Invitations, calendars, catalogues, stickers; they have it all, and on gorgeous stationary. Best family business out there!

I have been to City Papery on multiple occasions for fine stationery, and for seasonal gift items in the past year, but I don’t usually write reviews. However, on my most recent visit there to look for custom-sized presentation boards for my science class of 18 students, I felt I needed to share my wonderful experiences at this family owned business.
I’m always greeted warmly by the staff upon entering the store, and on this most recent visit, I was helped by a very knowledgeable team at the printing counter. We discussed the various board options available. They cut the presentation boards to the requested size, and when they were ready for pick up, I received email from the Printing Dept. Not only was my order ready several days before my scheduled pick-up date, but they also did a great job of wrapping up the boards for easy transport.
I highly recommend City Papery to anyone looking for excellent customer service, fine and hard to find stationery items, and many other unique seasonal gift items. It’s now my ‘go-to ‘store for all my paper needs!
