I've always had great experiences with ordering my taxis and are even cheaper than any other company providing the service. I'd never change Riverside Car and Limo service for any other.

I’ve been using Riverside Car & Limo for a while now, and they’ve truly set the standard for reliable service in New York. From the very first ride, I was impressed by how prompt and professional they were. Every driver I’ve met has been courteous, and the cars are always spotless and comfortable. What I appreciate most is their consistency — no matter the time of day or how busy things are, they always arrive on time and make sure the trip goes smoothly. It’s rare to find a company that delivers this level of service every single time. I trust them completely and would recommend Riverside Car & Limo to anyone looking for dependable, high-quality transportation in the city.

I use Riverside Everyday to go to my job and college, I really like the service I received., Custumer service Have improved a lot and the New administration really care about the service and Customer.

I had and excellent experience with Riverside Car Service from start to finish their service was very professional. The car was very comfortable and well maintained, which made my ride very pleasant and enjoyable.Driver arrived on time !

On Tuesday 9/16/2025, I had one of the most disturbing and unsafe experiences with a Riverside driver. The driver of a gray Toyota Camry (plate TS31843C) was distracted, repeatedly looking at his phone while driving, braking erratically, and even told me he doesn’t like passengers who express concern for their safety. When I asked him to let us out because I was uncomfortable, he refused to return my belongings from the trunk until I paid him. The most alarming part: after we exited the vehicle, he returned, pulled up aggressively with his headlights off, threw money at us, and shouted “it’s because you’re Black.” This was not only unprofessional but openly racist, threatening, and dangerous. While the dispatcher was polite, Riverside has ignored my written complaint. A warning or a temporary suspension is not enough this driver is a serious public safety risk and a danger to the community. I am pursuing further legal action. In the meantime, I urge anyone considering Riverside to think twice about their safety.

How are you still in business when you have the kind of people you have managing the reservation phone? I had faith that this could be a car service I use for myself moving forward, but wow. I’m speechless. Do better!

This place literally sucks, my friend tried to call a cab for me and they just deliberately hung up on him while he was talking still. I wish I could give this place zero stars but unfortunately we have to give one. I hope they just shut down for good

Dispatchers are rude and hang up on you as soon as you give your pick-up address and destination. They don’t even give you a chance to ask the price or for a receipt (not all drivers have receipts). When you call back and ask the remaining questions, they are annoyed, answer the question with an attitude and hang up on you. I called for a taxi to La Guardia yesterday - he hung up on me. When I called back for the price, he said $60 in a nasty voice and hung up. When I got ready to pay, the driver said $62.50. MANAGEMENT needs to speak to the dispatchers because courtesy and respect are important in every business. Drivers are much better. I use taxis 3 times a week and my average ride is about $34. I sometimes use High Class Taxi Service and they are much better. I will use them from now on.

The worse most disgusting, disrespectful dispatchers ever. This is my last day taking this service. I’m not spending my money where people hung up on me, when I asked their names I was told NO and it is okay to hung up and customers because their lines are busy. I’m done.

Very rude dispatch. Got hung up on bc a friend of mine in the background said we were going to a secret location. Keep in mind this was after I already gave her the address. Rude young lady on a Sunday night 12/8/24

Nasty driver took the longest route. Access a ride should never use these people. 2hrs to get home all because he didn't wanna take the toll route.

Worst customer service ever ( June 13th 2024 12:50pm. I was told i had a 7 min wait for my driver... after waiting 12 min (an additional 5 min courtesy) i called back and was rudely told that i "just got to wait 5 more min" he was rude as hell about it aftet i already been waiting a loy longer than i should have!

Base call is an alternative of Uber and Lyft there have been there for a while before those scammer of Uber and Lyft and they work just fine. There is exceptions to the rules sometimes bad behavior customers and clients. So be always aware and be respectful

0/5 Stars. First time using this app yesterday from my friend’s referral. I chose the card payment form on the app since I did not have cash and once I arrived to my destination I told the driver I paid with card, he said ok and I left. I got upstairs and hopped in the shower and when I got my phone I had numerous missed calls from the driver and from a 929 number. I also had a text from the 929 number stating “This is Riverside, you were recorded.” So, I call the number and the woman who answered immediately begins coming at me very rudely as if I was trying to get off with not paying my ride, saying things like “Your were recorded, you don’t do that, these people are working for their money, you can’t do that, you left without paying” clearly assuming that I was ignoring their calls and not willing to pay their services, mind you I had no idea the app did not charge my card even though I chose that form of payment. I was furious with the way this “customer associate” handled things because she was yelling at me as if I was some sort of thief, I argued back and hung up on her. We are all not thieves or criminals trying to get things for free. So, I called the driver and settled things with him because he had decency and could communicate without coming at me. He explained the woman was just doing “her job” because the payment didn’t go through and since he tried to reach me and I didn’t answer he had to report it to his base. It was not my fault the form of payment did not go through as card but as cash, when I clearly chose card because of the fact that I did not have any cash on me and I do understand that it looked as if I was ignoring their calls since I did not answer, but if the customer is calling back you shouldn’t begin yelling and coming at them as if they were trying to get a free ride. I cannot imagine if I was to refer my mother or someone older to this car service and this same situation occurred to them. Don’t use them unless you want to be discriminated through assumptions. Never again will I use this service.

A driver under the name “Alexis Arias El tipo” got mad at me because i couldn’t find his car so i ended up taking another cab, so he proceeds to text me very disrespectfully & yelled at me when he called me. This is ridiculous, this isn’t the first time i have an issue with this cab base.

The worse morning experienced ever. I called over 12 times for a cab at around 12pm and it’s ridiculous that I couldn’t even get in contact with someone. To make matters worse , the guys at the windows were just letting the phone go off and not even worried about attending to. And I was the one calling from across the street Worse cab service ever! WILL NEVER RECOMMEND

I wish I could give you a CERO. I reserved a minivan to go to JFK Airport. They sent me a small car. It was too small for me, my family and our bags. The driver damaged one of my suitcases, I gave him $95.00 plus $10.00 tip forgetting the small cars are less pricey. So he never return to me the extra money I payed and. He is not paying my suitcase. I will never use Riverside Car Service again. The managers did not make the driver return the extra money, did not make him pay the suitcase. They demand respect from customers but. They do not show that respect back to the customers. They are not loyal to customers.

I take their cabs every day and recently they tell you one waiting and you end up waiting a lot longer. I called at 7:57 today, was given an arrival time of 3 minutes and my cab got there at 8:16. I told him no thank you, my Uber is only one minute away

I wish I can give you zero star. It order for my to comment I had to tap one star. The drivers in these company are the worst. I called a cab for my son who has been in the ER At Columbia Presbyterian for over 8 hours. When the cab gets there and my son is walking to the car the driver Alejandro just took off on him and drove away. All my son wanted was to get home. We are a family that’s educated with morals, principles and descendants. My son is no delinquent. I will never use Riverside again.

I WILL NO LONGER BE USING THIS COMPANY FOR MY TRANSPORTATION!! They confirm your pickup 3 hours in advance, then you call to be pick up at your scheduled time, now they can't find you a driver. I scheduled this appointment 4 days in advance. Then the dizzy girl dispatcher have the nerves to give me ATTITUDE. BECAUSE SHE'S THE INCOMPETENT 1 THAT CANT DO HER JOB!! CUSTOMERS DON'T USE THIS CAR SERVICE PLEASE. IT'S NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE!!1

Would give zero stars if I could. Booked a pick up for my family to go to the airport 5 days in advance, they never scheduled the driver and when I called 5 minutes before the scheduled time to see where the driver was the dispatcher told me they don’t pick up from my location so no car was coming. HORRIBLE customer experience, and I will never use them again because they cannot be trusted to actually deliver even when I booked on their official app.

Im literally in shock. Ive been a very loyal customer and my family as well for years. But lately the drivers are not professional. They are always attempting to romance the female customers. First it was my sister, then my wife. I used this car service because of their past reputation. But it has now been tarnish. I want my family to feel safe and assured that they will have a comfortable ride. Note being hit on.

Literally got yelled at by the taxi driver at for fault in the app. I’ve driven with them several times and I’ve never had an incident like this till last month. When I started sharing my story several others mentioned a similar incident or worse. I only want them to train their drivers to show respect to the customers as incident could have gone COMPLETELY different.

I have been a loyal customer for years.my entire family as a matter of fact . Every tip to the airport and any outing that calls for a car riverside was the one and I my car service.however like many on here have described the dispatcher is a total bulldog when it comes to customer service. Extremely rude and I do not appreciate the way he spoke to my parents .yes I get it a lot of your customers are Latinos mothers and fathers older folks thst are not tech savvy .but they deserve respect. My mother left her house keys in a car and she called to find out if she left it in the cab.the answer received from the dispatchers “ he is not working and I’m not calling to wake him up”. Is that the way to answer?how about no report of keys lost but try calling at such time when the driver goes back on duty. I will not be using this service anymore I will be cancelling my app and taking this report further because no one is going to treat an older lady with that kind of disrespect and a loyal one at that. Have a nice day .

The application cancelled the car and charged by card. When I called the car service line, I was placed on hold for 30 minutes and hung up on. Was told is not their problem my car service was cancelled that I need to wait for the bank to give me my money back instead of sending a new cab. The dispatchers need to be retrained or fired!! This is not the way to treat loyal customer. Also the application should be fixed or not be advertised at all.

After reading this review, you probably can figure out that I am not the kind of person who would normally post a review on rental car services. But, this time with Rental Car and Limo Service, I had to. I am pleased with the services offered by them. The staff is really humble and sweet. The driver was understanding and made sure that I was comfortable during the ride. I loved the overall experience. Highly recommended!
