Needed to run into a Chase in a pinch and was glad I ended up at this one. Yunji Lee went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, and my handful of financial administration items were handled in one fell swoop. Thanks team!

The banks are in a panic because of the economy. They are actively thwarting bank transfers. There is no appeal process, even when transfers have gone through repeatedly with an external account. They withdrew my transfer options and refuse to link another external account. If you want to get your money out, go to a branch. Good luck.

They removed 5 ATM's in this location. Three by the exit doors on Nassau Street and 2 inside the branch. In light of the recent crime wave in ATM's Chase has just this one branch downtown that's actually inside a secure lobby with 24 hour security and they decide to remove the ATM's in favor of the new branch on Broadway which is like Grand Central Station. Who wants to use an ATM at that location? I've been a long time Chase customer, and this is downright the dumbest thing I've seen them do, on top of pulling out of Duane Reade stores.

this is either not the right # or an employee is trying to scam people. tried calling me and asking me for info. no legitimate chase branch should be doing that

It’s October 29, 2024, and I’m at the 28 Library St. Chase branch, just trying to get a five-year bank statement printed. Should be simple, right? Well, not so fast! They tell me they can’t help because – wait for it – paper is “expensive.” Now, I’m sitting there, doing some quick mental math. You can get 300 sheets of premium A4 paper, made in the U.S., for around $20 to $30 – that’s including NYC sales tax. Meanwhile, every time I’ve transferred money from Taiwan, Chase has cost me a $50 fee for online international wires. At least ten times! So that’s over $500 in fees. But apparently, printing my statements is going to bankrupt them! And then, as if it couldn’t get any better, they say they can only send me my statements one year at a time. One year at a time! I mean, come on – my own banking history, and they’re treating it like it’s some rare archival material. Even when I showed them Chase’s own policy, which says I could pay the fee and pick up the statements in the branch, they rejected me anyway – no reason, just a flat-out “no.” I ask if they can show me the rules that back up these rejections – you know, just a little proof. And what do they come up with? Absolutely nothing. Then, for about 30 minutes, we’re sitting in the meeting room, where two more employees join in, like we’re about to hold a summit on the economics of paper. And guess what? Those employees just as lost as everyone else. So, no five-year paper statement for me, but I did leave with a solid story about how a hundreds-of-billions dollar bank can’t afford paper… even with NYC sales tax.

Great experience with great service. Did a currency exchange and the teller was more than helpful and accommodating. She moved mountains for me!

Another masterwork by Gordon Bunshaft (1909-1990) of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. It opened in 1961 and was formerly known as One Chase Manhattan Plaza. David Rockefeller (1915-2017), then President of Chase Manhattan Bank, was instrumental in developing this building. Don't miss the sunken Japanese rock garden and fountain by Isamu Noguchi (1904-1988) in front of it, as well as the sculpture by Jean Dubuffet (1901-1985).

The staff that works here are unprofessional and unknowledgeable. I would recommend going to a different branch if you need any type of help.

Visited and seen to by a financial advisor or representative right away. Very elegant lobby. If coming in south side, take escalator down.

Booked an appointment to open bank account. They called me but when I answer no one says anything. Then my appointment gets cancelled. Tried booking again and the same thing happened.

Customer service at this branch is the absolute worst I have seen in the city. They are simply rude no matter how nice you interact with them. Been there three times and same experience. Avoid this branch.

An absolute disgrace of a bank and what is even a bigger disgrace is Joseph Leal IV as their assistant branch manager and is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. He is extremely rude, very immature and a complaint was filed.

We have a few accounts with them on the business side. We where told that if have a certain balance in the bank across all accounts then there would no fee. Our bank rep does not do anything expect say "That if i don't like him he can move me to someone else" No one wants to take responsibly and we are not getting anything done expect paying more fees. In short if you are a small business go some where else

This is my favorite bank. I used a debit card here since I was 13. The service has always been excellent. The free candy is appreciated.

chase bank treats their private clients with excellent customer care no waits or in conveinience just straight to the office to handle your business needs that you have to handle.

The service is generally fairly good whenever an issue arises. For everyday use the convenience of having multiple locations ensures that it is never too hard to find an atm.

I just received letters informing me that my accounts, which I have used for many years, have been closed after credit review. The reasons are bogus and I will detail below, but what I'm most upset about is their policy of not letting (former) customers redeem their points after account is closed. I have $28.33 worth of points that they now keep for themselves. That is just plain theft. I earned those points making Amazon purchases. I have complained to them as well and I'm not buying from either company the way they treat me. (They also closed my brother's credit card.) So what are the reasons they gave for closing my accounts? First, too much credit. Well, my credit limit probably increased by $700 or so in the last year. Big deal. All because I asked for an increase from a current card issuer, too. Second, too many bank cards. I got an AmEx debit card recently, and that's it. Haven't gotten a new credit card in the last year, although I had applied for a Hess card (serviced by Chase) so I can buy gas, which I think started all this. If that's the way these companies do business, I will not deal with them either. But the reward points should be the customer's, when they are closing the accounts to try to protect themselves from credit risks, when I pay all my bills on time and didn't do anything wrong. Not letting customers redeem points they earned because Chase closed their accounts is nothing but theft.
