Pretty straightforward TD in Chinatown, walk in and the ATMs are there, no separating doorway to the main staff area, so maybe not open to the public after hours? Open 7 days a week. They do not have a bathroom for customers, as a note. Didn't have to wait in line for the cashier at all.
Horrible bank , security guard here usually wears no socks ,no belt, and walk in circles . There a commercial transaction line which enables cutting. ( make a rope line for that , and check if if they have a business debit card ) The staff and security don’t care and maintain no order in this bank . Manager in his office does nothing , could be 50 people waiting and he just doing nothing in his office .
The cleanliness of the all the locations in NYC is purely disgusting! I was just at the branch today and the garbage that has been left behind by the customer from the previous day is still at the same spot. Maybe it is time to change a new cleaning company and don’t be frugal and try to negotiate the cost of the cleaning. You get what you paid for.
I had an incredible experience with Coral at TD Bank! She was very patient and answered all my questions thoroughly. Not only was she knowledgeable, but she also solved my problem quickly and efficiently. Her customer service was top-notch, and she made the entire process much easier for me. I’m so grateful for her help and highly recommend her if you need assistance at this branch!
The staffs are unprofessional and impatience. They gave me the fause information. Made me went to that same location twice for nothing. Wasted of time.
I went to this branch 2 weeks ago about renting a safe box. TD BANK (155 Canal St, New York, NY 10013) I know that there is a long waiting list. I have been already signed in on their waiting list form 2 years ago. But never hear from the bank, so I went back to check for updates.
The teller told me to come back in 2 weeks there will be box available. So, I went back 2 weeks later, but they told me there is no available box and they don’t even know when there will be available one.
So I ask them to check for my status, they are impatience and gave me the looks that they just want to get me out of the branch.
Finally, I get them to work. They took out a note binder with pages falling a part. The banker is acting like he is checking, he just flip couple of pages and told me he couldn’t find it. And told me to continue waiting. You can tell some of the pages are already lost. people that are still waiting don’t even know that they are out, no longer in the list.
Well, this is 2024, they should have a more organized way of putting people in the waitlist, they should have customers name and their contact number in a computer system. This way customers can easily check for their spot on the list.
Very disappointed with their attitude towards the customer, Not willing to help. Very impatience, unprofessional and Unorganized. The bank staffs needs more training, they are paid to do their job right by provide service for their customers.

This morning I went to this TD BANK branch wanting to pay my safety box fee. (155 Canal St, New York, NY 10013) I told the young teller ahead of time that the box is from another branch so he doesn’t need to look all over. I gave him the box number, branch address Ridegewood downtown and branch number that assigned for that specific location. But the teller told me that I can’t pay another branch safety box in this branch. Which is a lie. I told him I had paid it in this branch before, so I know I can. The teller gives you a look that he doesn’t care whatever you telling him, he is chewing gum while shaken his feet acting like he is the boss. he said their system has changed.
To prove that he is lying, I went to another branch that is 5 minutes walk from this one. (250 Canal St, New York, NY 10013) a recent buildup branch. I ask for the same needs, which is to pay another branch safety box fee in a different branch. The teller here said yes, and ask me for ID and box locations branch. Here I got my fee paid within few minutes.
The teller in 155 Canal St needs more training, if something he doesn’t know. He should ask his manager, not just telling lies.
The bank provides banking infrastructure and services, in my case I don’t see the teller is doing his job to help. He is very disappointing and unprofessional. This is unacceptable and wasting time.
This is a bank, not a centre for the elderly, a place for psychological counselling and chatting. And there are bank counters looked like they were used to gifts from some elderly women customers!
Only I can give the review and rated 1 star . The customer service totally terrible not professional hope the manager can train the employees to be respectful to every customer
They got many people working over there, but takes forever for one to just answer the phone. You’ll have to try to call millions times and wait for million hours just get one to answer your phone, and always the same lady. Sometimes they’ll even disconnect your call! Bank tellers are quite nice, but the associate representatives aren’t knowledgeable or nice (ppl that work in front of the desks). Don’t like going there unless I have to! If you can, go somewhere!
The lazy and indifferent customer service guy was unhelpful. He asked me to check out their banking services online instead of printing out the information.
They closed all Manhattan branches , my cousin get access to his passbook account , there (888) # won't send him ATM card you do that in person ! But no branch open in Manhattan ! Horrible service
Was just at this TD Bank about 30 minutes ago. I wrote my name down for customer service. Wait was perfectly fine. The lady that called my name had a very nasty attitude. She was pretty old and as I was asking about notaries, she asked me if I had an account with them. I told her no and her attitude got worse than before. Is it because if I did have an account with them, I could rate her? All in all, I did not have a bad experience with them when I came here (previous notaries I had to do with them because they provide them for free), however, there are just some employees that are dreadful. Good thing I don’t bank with TD bank because their customer service just overall sucks.
This branch is horrible. They will teach you how to be patient to get their service. The lady helped me who has bad attitude. If I don't have previous good experience, I will close out my account today.

The worst customer service I have received from this bank, at the time I was there I saw that the attention was preferential for Asian clients, what a hypocritical service.
So when I first arrived I didn't know how toaccess the atm using my debit card but after seeing instructions on a bank of america atm I learned how to access the atms. For city dwellers this may be old hat but for tourists visitors it would be very helpful to have the instructions more clearly marked. TD customers often choose TD Bank for the user friendliness and easy access to the bank, lack of markings other than the one directly over the card reader is less than ideal.
Had asked the woman manager to add me to a joint account, but she actually close out the existing account and opened a new one without telling me. I was not able to access the account. It was shut down due to fees, but I wasn't even notified for all of this.
Ok, this is the ONLY TD Bank you should almost ever avoid going to. If the few key people are not there, then the way they take care of customers who are waiting on line is so slow there was one time I waited 1 hours and I was the 7th person on line. I am almost always forced to go to the 255 Canal Street location. What I do is I simply stop by to see if it's packed (more than 4 people on line is packed) and I go to 255 without hesitation. How many times did I wait on line just to bring people with me to the other branch because I couldn't hold my urine.
George, Janet, Justine, May, Tony, Victoria, Vickie, Wendy, you guys are amazing and you all deserve 5 stars, but some of the other people my god, they have to do something else like greeting and or taking their medications on time (there's only one who obviously does). It's not even funny. I'm glad the tall toothpick guy is gone, he was always about staring down, down talking and ego tripping customers.
George and Justine, you know what to do to make this place work but you probably don't have the power like the bald guy does.
This bank is busy, no doubt about it. But the staff,- at least the one I dealt with is- was very helpful and tried her very best to fix the issue I was having.
I usually go to this branch on the weekends, the customer service is pretty good. The line for the teller is pretty long sometimes so it make take a while for u to complete your transaction. I really like their store hours because they are open pretty late, and they really try to help the customers if they have any questions.
