I went to Chelsea Flea for the first time a few days ago and LOVED my experience! It was so fun exploring all of the items at the various booth. Lots of vintage and antique items! From clothing and accessories to home items and decor, it has everything! When we visited, it was busy but we could easily walk around comfortably. Everyone was so friendly to chat with! Chelsea Flea is a must while in New York City for both locals and tourists! Highly recommend!

Small flea market. We went in January so it wasn't that big. My guess is it's better when the weather is better.

Try out Thrift Hog across the Street. Great company with all profits helping train people who need employment and programs to provide free tutorage to those in need of a bump in life.

It’s a good place to antiquing if you have knowledge about what you’re looking for. There are many vendors selling clothing, shoes, bags, small furniture, and jewelry. It’s fun to look around. You might come across some nice items.

Great experience !! First time visitor :) On Saturdays there’s this one vendor with a huge bunch of tangled jewellery, if you have the time (and patience lol) to untangle and search for the hidden gems, he has great deals !! Don’t forget to also look at the little alley jn the back and the vendors outside on the side of the street !

It is ok, you use to get more of a deal, now becoming more pricey. There's better thrift stops in Brooklyn that are cheaper, like the Goodwill Store.

Such a fantastic flea market, I try to come here every time I’m in town. All the dealers are really nice and characters. I just love talking to them and usually they are full of advice & stories. I just always have a good experience at Chelsey Market. Every time I come here I find something and it’s just full of unique items. Sometimes the dealers set up a little late. I noticed 930 10 o’clock people were coming in and setting up so it’s OK to come here a little late because not everyone is set up yet.

Had a wonderful experience thrifting at the Chelsea Flea Market! Highly recommend if you love vintage clothing items and antiques!

During our stay in Chelsea, we unexpectedly discovered the Chelsea Flea Market. Located just off 25th Street, the Chelsea Flea Market provides a delightful assortment of clothing, accessories, housewares, collectibles, and vintage items. It is a wonderful activity to enjoy on a pleasant day.

If you enjoy antiques and vintage this is a great way to spend an hour or two! Great selection of vendors and items.

First time to be here, I can spend my whole day, finding gems, all vintage clothing, great vendors. I just find difficult to deal with some others😅. Love the place. Hopefully I can comeback here. By the way I'm a seafarer.

I have been coming to the Chelsea flea market for more years that I can remember. If I have to do give a date I will say 2014. I have purchased so many great items here at awesome prices. I am sorry to say that the Chelsea Flea is not what it used to be the items you find are not as good as before and prices are crazy. Many dealers that were there before under the old administration never came back. Please the new administration has to do something to get good dealers back. Please Please. This market used to be one of my reasons for visiting NYC.

The only market to be at on a Saturday in Manhattan. The best collector items, exquisite art and unique fashion pieces. Don’t miss out!

I’ve been coming to Chelsea Flea for over 10 years now and i always walk away with a little treasure! When the weather is nice, there tends to be a lot more vendors and people. There is always an array of clothing, accessories, home wares, and collectibles. The vendors vary but there’s always a good mix

This place is rubbish actually, I shouldn’t say that, it’s not for me. I have never seen so much toot in one place. People were selling anything that they found & at unreasonable prices. I did see a couple of items people might like eg. Vinyl records, African art, Chinese artefacts etc. Summary- if you’ve only got a few days in NY, do not waste your time going here. You will regret it

One of the things to do on the weekend. The market has a lot of small vendors selling multiple different things. The only thing to consider before going is the weather forecast - whenever the weather is not great, a lot of the vendors don’t show or leave very early which is a little disappointing. Wish there was a way to know in advance how many vendors will be there.

There were sooo many things, artifacts, antiques , and vintage pieces here ranging from furniture, coats, jewelry, to books, cameras , and many more. I saw on TikTok about this place and had to make a walk over. The market takes place every Saturday I believe.

I am not a flea market type of person but I happened upon this market & decided to pass through since it looked quite busy. I ended up getting some pretty treasures (see photos) from Africa from a nice salesman (Hamidou Berete) located in the corner by the road.

The flea had such a copious array of vintage wares to choose from! Make sure you get there in time to shop it all.1-3 hours should do it. You know how you shop. It closes promptly. (8am-5pm)

Great experience! Tons of stalls selling different items. It’s easy to find and navigate. I got some cool pieces from different sellers and had a positive experience with all of them.

Great variety of vintage goods! Just a heads up!! Most vendors prefer cash and it seems the only a few have Venmo or Zelle. There is a nearby ATM that the vendors will direct you too! Prices are a bit pricy so you may have to haggle if you want a deal. Overall very fun way to spend an hour!

Located in the heart of Chelsea, the flea market is a must-visit for anyone on the hunt for unique and vintage finds. The market offers a wide range of items, from antique furniture to quirky clothing, and everything in between. The vendors are friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to assist and share information about their products. The market is well-organized, making it easy to browse and navigate through the stalls. What sets Chelsea Flea Market apart from others in the area is the quality of the items available. Each product is carefully curated, ensuring that customers only find the best of vintage and modern designer pieces. The prices are also reasonable and fair, making it accessible to a broad range of shoppers. Overall, Chelsea Flea Market is a delightful experience and a gem in the heart of the city. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for unique finds and a pleasant shopping experience.

I Loved Chelsea Flea Market, lived in the Bronx 40 yrs and never adventured down to the market. Thanks to " HANK" it was an organized outing. It is the perfect encompassing size, and they have all kinds of trinkets, clothes, figurines, and coins. At this time in my life (66), I yarn for the jewelry of Mother's jewelry box, the lapel pins that you wear on a Jackie Onassis style blazer And OMG! I got the blazer and pin for $20. The next time I go , I'm wearing my robe and slippers because I will be investing some quality time! Sat and Sun.

Interesting place, all sorts of knick-knacks. Beads, clothes, furniture, records, jewellery, watches. Much of it old and barley saleable. Some hidden gems of course. Some of it highly overpriced. Some vendor tried to explain to me that a beaded bangle was between 500 and 2000 years old which was clearly nonsense. Worth a visit just to look.

good place for a short visit. interesting folk of visitors. sellers are not very inteesting, mostly unlike other flea markets, people are somehow sure that, in general, it is usually for people who collect old things, especially from emigrants from the ussr. that they have something unique and very expensive in their hand. so it is unlikely that you will buy something but enjoy it. asking prices at the highest level in existence at expensive antique shops and auctions for stuff that i know
