Aarti is the best! I needed a new phone, a new line, and wi-fi service for my apartment. She handled everything with great care and efficiency. My situation is quite specific and required extra time and effort, but in spite of several setbacks and complications, she remained extremely committed and helpful to getting it over the line. She was reassuring and always kept a positive attitude when many would've given me attitude. It felt really nice chatting with someone who clearly had my best interest at hea and who wasn't just trying to sell me the most expensive item or plan. She went above and beyond and even stayed beyond closing hours to make sure that we get everything done. If you're in East Village, please do yourself a favor and go to that Verizon location and see for yourself!
This store has great staff - she is knowledgeable courteous.All my issues gets resolved I feel confident once I visit the store, Believe me this is kind of my local go to store . I have visited ‘N’ numbers of times I have been greeted well when I wasn’t even a Verizon customer. Eventually I ported number and joined Verizon. Got a great deal on the new phone and the monthly plan.
All steps right from cost of monthly bills plans and when to expect a higher monthly charges all were very transparently explained thoroughly.

The owner overcharged me for a phone at the register and is refusing to refund me even though she was told she has to. Total con artist saw I was in need of a phone and had cash. A 899 phone magically came to 1350!!! Now she is playing games and won’t give me my money.
I want to bump the harassment I experienced from store manager, Aarti. I never received any follow-up from the store even though the number I set up at the store was used to call me 7 times in a row to yell at me for my review.

The reason for my visit was a bill I received showing that I owe $566.44 for my iPhone 16 Pro.
When I visited the store on June 12th, I was very clear that I did not want to sign a 3-year agreement and that I wanted to pay for my phone in full, with no commitment. At that time, the store representative, Arti Solanki, explained that I could return my old phone and the balance I owed would be paid.
She also explained that I would receive a credit of around $600 if I got a new phone, and all I had to do was pay the remaining balance, which was about $800. I can’t provide the exact numbers because the purchase also included a case ($47.99) and a power adapter ($24.99). In addition, she added a $70 setup fee.
So the total with everything was $866.99 plus tax, for a final total of $997.19.
In the end, it turns out that instead of getting a deal, I paid $724 plus tax ($788) for my phone and still owe $566.44 , which bringing the total for my iPhone 16 Pro to $1,354.00. For comparison, if you go to the Apple Store, you can buy the phone for $1,208 with tax included.
Now, if I want to get the $600 deal that she promised, I have to stay with Verizon for another 3 years and receive only $16.66/month as a credit, exactly what I DIDN’T want.
I have been a Verizon customer for 13 years, but lately the customer service and coverage are not what they used to be.
With that being said, this was a very disappointing experience. The store at 313 1st Ave feels like a scam! I would strongly advise others to avoid it at all costs.

Great Verizon location! Super helpful with all questions about getting a new phone and returning an old one. They even got me the phone I needed quickly as it wasn’t in store when I arrived. They had it by the next morning and helped me set it up!
Aarti was extremely helpful and knowledgeable helping my wife and I through a complicated account transfer and upgrade process, even working with us well past closing hours to get our issues resolved. If we need anything in the future we’ll definitely be going back to see her!
Absolutely phenomenal experience with Aarti. She really went above and beyond for me and made my experience absolutely seamless. She clearly really cares about her customers. I’ve been a Verizon customer for nearly nearly 20 years and she’s the best representative I’ve ever had. I’ll 100% be going back because of her!
After waiting till way past advertised opening time (9am) for this shop to open- following instructions from a Verizon employee to head here to collect something - the woman who greeted me was rude and hostile saying it was the wrong place. Never been spoken to so rudely for following out the directions of their own companies helpline.
I've been to this location many times over the years for assistance for both myself & my wife. It's great to see a familiar & helpful face.
I just purchased a new phone and Aarthi was again very patient in answering all my questions & assisting in setting up the new phone in a non-condescending manner.

The woman who works here, mentioned in many comments below is extremely unprofessional and rude. She makes completely baseless claims about what Verizon can or cannot do. She is very hostile and short. She tried to overcharge me at every chance. She tried to change my personal settings in my phone against what i wanted and had programmed. Do not go here
I've been to this Verizon store twice with family. Each time, the customer service representative has been extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. She explained service options thoroughly and answered all questions and doubts that my parents, who are senior citizens, brought up about new phones and plans. To top it all off, on our first visit we walked away with Verizon sunglasses with which to battle the hot summer day. Highly recommend this store!
The store manager yelled at me and cussed me out for “asking too may questions.” I know all I have is my word on this, but believe me, I was completely calm and polite before she started yelling. I asked her one question and then two clarifying questions and she got extremely aggressive and brought me to tears and told me to never call again. She also said something along the lines of “come down here then.” The only thing I said was that she was rude after she was already yelling and cursing at me. She then lied and said that she didn’t curse and that she is going to call the cops on me. I know that it sounds like I am leaving parts out but I promise I was completely calm and polite and it really was that crazy. I was hoping to set up internet with Verizon but I am not going to if their employees are going to attack me for asking questions. Maybe don’t be in customer service if a couple of questions make you yell and curse.
Edit: after reading other reviews it has become clear that the manager in question is named Aarti. She is spiteful, unprofessional, and clearly can’t handle her job if she looses it at the simple questions that I and everyone else in the reviews had. I can’t believe that the complaints go back two years.
Aarti is the best, she is super helpful and does not waste any time. She also does not pressure any upselling which is really refreshing because you can tell she really just wants the customer to be happy. I will be returning to this location anytime I need something phone related.
I had a great experience at this Verizon store thanks to one amazing staff member. She was incredibly patient and kind while helping me set up my internet, even though I was having trouble figuring things out. She stayed after hours just to make sure everything was sorted
We had great service offered to us from this store. We purchased 2 new phones from this store. Person working here in this store is very tech savvy. She spent lot of time with us with care, patient and dedication. Gave us tutorial about our new phones, data sync what’s app help calling, registering our international numbers, guidance in calling, phone to phone video calling. Also, she gave us an assurance to come back for any concerns as many times, it is hard to find these levels of help given in service industry. We definitely recommend people shop here!We are senior citizens we appreciate all the care given to us!
Aarti is amazing. She made upgrading our phones a very easy process. Handled everything very professionally and treated other customers with kindness and patience as well.
Ms. Aarti gave us superb customer service this afternoon - we switched a family plan w/4 phones from another provider to Verizon. She had the patience of a saint and knew exactly how to navigate all the sign ins from our Apple IDs to from my old provider. She made sure all my questions were answered and our phones were fully set up. Thank you so much!
I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at this location. I went in to purchase a portable charger, and was offered a Ventev charger for $70, supposedly a 'sale' price from $128. Initially, Aarti was incredibly sweet and I had a lovely conversation with her about how I was headed to the airport shortly for a trip and needed the charger. I was told this was the cheapest option offered and given my impending trip, I made the purchase.
Upon returning home, I discovered the same charger was available online for a maximum of $49.99 and on sale for $24.99. I returned to the store to politely inquire about the price discrepancy, assuming there might be a system error.
Unfortunately, the sales associate, Aarti, became immediately hostile. Despite my calm and respectful demeanor, she raised her voice, accused me of interrupting her, and refused to acknowledge the price difference. When I inquired about Verizon's price-matching policy, she escalated the situation, ultimately refusing service and creating a scene in front of other customers.
While she eventually agreed to refund $20, bringing the price down to $50, she remained confrontational and unprofessional. Her behavior was not only disrespectful but also created an incredibly uncomfortable environment. She made comments to other customers in the store, trying to garner support against me, which was very upsetting to me since I thought we had a good rapport from when I had made the initial purchase. She knew I was on a tight schedule and used this information against me by saying I would have to wait at least half an hour if I wanted an answer to my question.
This experience left me feeling deeply disrespected and disillusioned with Verizon. I understand pricing discrepancies can occur, but the way this situation was handled was unacceptable. I expect a service provider, especially one as large as Verizon, to maintain a level of professionalism and respect towards its customers, regardless of the situation. I would strongly advise others to be cautious when purchasing accessories in this store, specifically from Aarti, and I hope Verizon addresses the customer service training of their employees.
I am seniior 85 year old woman and I was hesitant to get new phone but my old phone almost gave up on me. When I came into the. Verizon store a lovely kindhearted young woman greeted me and was very helpful. She was patient courteous and knowledgeable with all the tech issues which she tried to relay
to me.
She helped me get the newest device with great patience and great pricing. I am very excited with my new Samsung phone and i am sure i will continue to get all the help i may need in the future.
We recently got the entire family upgrades with new phones. We are very happy to get excellent service from this Verizon store. Every thing was explained in details. New android phones has so many new functionality, the representative gave us a great tutorial and assure us if any questions concern to stop by. Received awful customer service from this location. My family has been on a Verizon plan for close to 30 years and never received such poor service. Upon walking into the store, my husband and I were rudely greeted by a middle aged, short, middle eastern woman in a blue sweater asking us what we were doing in the store. She continued to stare me down as we browsed the store. She left us on the sales floor to walk to the safe in the back. I do not understand why it was open, but she made sure it was locked. Throughout the entire experience, her eyes never left us. It was unnecessarily accusatory and incredibly uncomfortable. Her attitude gave me the impression that she assumed we were stealing… even though we were appropriately dressed and clean (in other words, obviously not homeless). We decided to leave instead of purchase due to her service.
I am very pleased to get an excellent customer service from this store. I got a new phone with great holiday promotion trade in value for my old phone. The sales person is very patient in answering all my questions she resolved all of them, gave me great service. I got great subscription included with my plans and also got my mobile and home reward activated. She is very professional and thorough in her work.
As a senior citizen I appreciate all the time given to me because to reset all my accounts with all new passwords is not an easy task!
Yet another amazing experience at the Verizon store! Last year I was struggling to activate a replacement iPhone and the woman working at the store spent over an hour troubleshooting until it was resolved. Not sure what caused the problem (calls into Verizon couldn't resolve it) but she was able to find and fix the issue. Today I upgraded to a new phone and it was a seamless experience!
Wonderful customer service and a good range of diff phone's available. I'll be coming here for sure for my next upgrade.
