THEY ALWAYS TELL YOU TO CALL BACK, NOT EVEN THE COURTESY OF SAYING WE WILL CALL YOU BACK WHEN THEY TELL YOU "ALL OF OUR AGENTS OR WHOEVER THEY ARE, ARE BUSY. I HAVE CALL DIFFERENT BANKS AND STILL CAN'T GET A STRIGHT ANSWER. I AM READY TO CHANCE BANKS AFTER YEARS OF BEING WITH CHASE AND I'M SURE OTHER ARE ALSO YOUR " CISCO UNITY SYSTEM" IS THE WORST SYSTEM, THEY REPEAT THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

Chase bought my bank so they onboarded my bank account onto their systems. Now they have blocked me out of it and the only solution they can suggest is to walk into a branch, problem is that I live outside the US and have no access to branches. The phone line guys tell me to write a secure message, the secure message guys tell me to call the phone. Weeks go by no solution. Utter clown show, disgraceful incompetence. I will have to close my account. Avoid at all costs, UPDATE: I travelled to the US and spoke to a branch in Las Vegas, they confirmed that closing the account was the best option as they are unable to help me outside the US. What a horrible, horrible customer experience. I am a really happy non-CHASE JPM client now!!

Chase Bank in Groton Connecticut has kept my Social Security for almost a month and not sent me a freaking check. They lied to me and told me they sent a check on the fifth of the month and I haven't gotten it and they told the Shelter that I live in that they sent the check Friday There's nothing but a bunch of liars and thieves and they also kept my income tax money of $620,000 that they said they sent me a check for a long time ago that I would get in 10 days and I haven't gotten it yet. It was not a bogus check. It was from the US Treasury and I think they're keeping my money from me. I think they're trying to steal my tax return.. They've given me bullshit reasons why they haven't sent me the check yet and the bank manager. You need to get a new one because she sucks.

I got an email from Chase Credit Journey that I thought might be spam. I called the Chase Customer Service # and went through prompts. The AI wanted my SSN which I would not input. When I finally talked to a person they were at a call center in India and said that I needed to call customer service.

Investments by JP Morgan in LNG are actively harming our climate, increasing consumer costs, and harming our critical ocean ecosystems. We only have one planet and we should not be sacrificing our only home for corporate profits. Plus their lobby is ugly.

JP Morgan supports climate harm through LNG projects, spiking costs for Americans and threatening ocean life. Truly a terrible place to try and do business with.

Poor experience overall in the last year. No goodwill offered to long-term customers. Doesn't matter if you've had a medical emergency or death in the family, this company will pounce at the opportunity to negate your credit score, and use their own reporting to reduce your available credit. They will not inform you of detrimental consequences either in advance. Ruthless.

Chase has made 3 new decisions without customer input. The first was adding Zelle against my wishes. The second was not allowing me to pay my car payment within the Bill Pay app beginning last month. The the third, which I discovered this week when I called about the car payment app not working was the bank's customer service phone line which demanded that I say a sentence allowing the bank to use my voice recognotion phrase to be my identifier. WITHOUT NOTICE TO ME OR MY PERMISSION. There are hundreds of proveable news stories -- including two on 60 MINUTES about how easy it is to clone voices and I DON'T WANT TO LOSE EVERYTHING BECAUSE SOMEONE CLONED MY VOICE AND EMPTIED MY BANK ACCOUNTS! So now I can't pay my car loan -- which is no longer on my bill pay list -- or access customer service without a secret 0#0# code and THEY STILL CAN'T HELP ME.

ZERO STARS - GREEDY LIARS AND THIEVES I had two major problems with Chase in the last two months alone: 1) My monthly payment has always been set to minimum payment. I often pay early, and a little more than the minimum, including in May 2025. The day after I checked to see if my paycheck stub was pending in my checking account, I saw that Chase had pulled out nearly $3k putting my bank account in the red by over $700. There was no pending transaction. Somehow, my payment was set to pay the statement balance after I made my monthly payment. Chase claimed it was my error, but changing requires multiple steps so I could not have accidentally done that. It took over a week to get my money back, causing me to call and request delayed payments for my medical bills, student loans, and car payment. 2) I saw a promotion for up to $300 statement credit if I was approved for the IHG Travelers card. My car and well broke down in the same month, leaving my family with enough funds to fix the car and part of our well. We desperately needed to bathe and shower, so we compared cheap hotel rates for one night and stumbled upon the pictures promotion. It was a financial relief! The statement credit was never given, however, and both Chase and IHG sent me back and forth refusing to listen to me or accept responsibility for the statement credit. I sent Chase the picture attached per a representative's instruction, and they are choosing to not honor it. I will actively share these stories with anyone who banks with Chase or even considers banking with them. Thankfully, I've already saved a few people the risk of similar experiences.

Closed my Credit card account with no explanation in 1 day. Account paid in full by the way. Sending a letter in the next 7-10 days for explanation. Really Who cares at this point what their reason is They just ran me around and around with typical we're not allowed to do this and this I asked who wrote the letter? Where is it and to boot they are sending it regular mail. So, i asked what happens if I do not receive it. Their response was we are not responsible for the Post Office. What a joke Adios Chase Although they do have a great spell check. Well life goes on a little venting and by weekend like it never happened Have a great day They treat you so nice at first and then toss you out like yesterdays garbage with no Explanation. Amateurs, not a serious institution I received an email with an offer to open a checking and savings accts - I went to a branch and opened both - I already had a Chase credit card with linked external accounts, the new checking and savings were grouped on the same userid/password - while in the brancth with the rep, i entered the initial transfers from my linked external acct, to meet the min balance requirement not to incur in fees - in the evening, the transfers were rejected - I called CS and they told me "someone called saying to call this number, option 2" - I called and I was told that the verification process of the external accounts, already linked x 15 years, would take time, that I should perform the initial deposit by wire - they would not pay for the wire transfer fee, nor would they wave the newly opened accts monthly fees in view of the fact that min balance requirements would not be met due to their procedure - the fact that the external acct was already linked in that same userid/pword combination, for my credit cards payments, was a matter "of another backoffice" - I told them an acct was either verified or not, not a matter of backoffices - the Filipino I believe customer service rep told me she would pass along my feedback! A major commercial bank acting in such an absurd manner? Ridiculous, imagine if you ever need this bank for any reason whatsoever! Mind the opening of the accounts followed their colicitation by email: as I told them, they should have mentioned this circular reasoning situation on the email: when you open the accts even if you have linked external accounts (chase credit cards) you will not be able to use them until "another back office" verifies the account; you might want to transfer the initial funds by wire (and pay the 30+ $ fee, whatever your bank charges) or wait a week, in which case you will be charged acct monthly maintenance fees.

Ok, I fielded a call today from a Chase rep, and they only identified themselves and not who they were calling from. My suggestion to them was to identify themselves as "Hi, my name is xxxx xxxxxx with Chase card services, etc....". They give me some jive that "they don't allow us to do that." So my review is to get attention of corporate, stop being so vague, this is the 21st century, and nearly everyone has caller ID. Be professional in all you do. you're a giant VERY profitable company. Stop trying to be sly or however you want to explain from the C suite and identify the COMPANY and PERSON calling....be professional. You expect every one of your clients to be(notice I said expect because I know not all people are), yet you want to be vague, step up to the plate and do right if you expect others to be. People will not talk if they don't want to anyway. For the folks that will be like "pay your bills on time then", I say that we were only a few days late and we had already paid over 30% of the balance hours before the call. I answered the call and dealt with my business. Life happens, and sometimes you miss stuff, but the bank should always be on the up and up being a giant profitable company.

Banking with JPMorgan Chase for years and now I'm leaving. It is difficult to get service or file a claim - they hook you up to a call center in India where there is zero accountability. You spend over an hour working with an individual, that has a poor grasp of English, and nothing gets done. You find out your issue went into a black hole that is Chase.

The Chase Sapphire Reserve card is not worth it. I'm booking my first flight with points and I'm now on my third phone call and have spent nearly 190 minutes on the phone. I do not recommend the Chase Sapphire Reserve card. It's a premium price for a substandard service experience.

Charge high late fees regardless of the CFPB litigation and my attempt to be upfront and figure out a solution. They got rid of the "secure messaging" in the app, and everything now is "call 1-800-waitforever" or a chatbot that advised me to stop making payments on my card....yeah.

Chase Instacart MC handles disputes terribly. Pamela a manager refused to escalate me above her level when the rep closed my dispute because I opened it under the wrong category online. Neither rep informed me it should have been opened under a different category and they allowed the merchant to close the dispute saying there was no overbilling when I provided the final invoice and credit card statements showing the overbilling.

JPM HQ, odd chemical smell in the stone lobby, almost reminds me of some kind of exotic wood mix? Also some interesting sculptures.

I'm here in New York, attempting to settle my uncle's estate. He has a chase account and safety deposit box, provided the paperwork to gain entrance and open an estate account on June 22, I have sold the house and car but need the title and deed from the deposit box. The branch keeps telling me it's with another department but they can only email no phone calls. Why does it take this long to settle with the bank when all the paperwork came from the New York courts? I need to go home to my ailing husband, this is costing his estate more money each day chase delays. I'm only waiting on chase and nothing else...why? Someone should have a supervisor or management review this process urgently!

Worst bank ever, hands down. I opened this account to store money in it to prepare for an upcoming trip with friends for my son’s birthday. They closed my account for “fraud” over my friend sending me a zelle payment. She confirmed she in fact did send the money & they still wanted another party to confirm when on the phone they told me that specific person. They also told me unless the third person can confirm I won’t be receiving MY FUNDS! I contacted my lawyer & had him speak with customer services supervisor & they sent me my money! Overall would not recommend. Why do I have to contact MY lawyer to receive MY FUNDS? I got my money back but will never bank with chase again.

I would not recommend chase to anyone. Convenience is in the negatives for ratings. Issues that I’ve had: they held a check I tried to deposit for THIRTEEN DAYS. Never got a straight answer from anyone with reason behind this. I got like 3 different reasons. When mailing a debit card they sent it to the wrong address even though I specified what the address they’re sending it to would be. They did this twice, so I didn’t have a debit card for weeks. Third thing- because I don’t use personal checks, I needed a letter from them stating my routing and account number- pretty simple, right? They couldn’t email it. And sending it via mail would have taken TWO WEEKS. So I had to drive to a different city to visit their branch to get it done in person. Probably my mistake for joining a bank that was so far from me. Local credit unions for the win.

Worse bank ever. They linked my personal account to my business account to open me up to fraud. I asked for the account to be frozen several times. They didn't honor anything. They purposely linked my personal account to my business log in so hackers could steal my money. Now they are blaming me. Thousands of dollars gone. I'm not backing down. See you in court chase. If you are a person of color. Leave Chase. They do not protect you despite advertising zero liability against hacking and ID theft.

Firstly, you’ve never mail me my card after I open an account. So I was only using the digital version. Secondly, when I called one more time to figure it out. They just suspended my digital card. Finally, God bless the Bank of America. They always take care of me when Chase sucks

One star was a generous gift for this credit card company. If you have to travel internationally, don't waste your time. You have to call them every time you cross a border and even then, might have to call them to reactivate. However, the international number they post does not work. So, the money you may or may not save (considering how much time you are willing to spend on the phone with customer service) will go to waste due to international calling fees. Plan to call about 3-5 times per issue, because they certainly won't fix it the first time.

This is the worst bank filled with even worse employees that you can possibly choose to do business with. The only benefit is if you need to use an ATM they have a bank every other block but what for they do not help loyal clients- your money is not safe! This is an horrible institution filled with who cannot communicate or document vital information accurately. Capital one is a better option because at least you know they will protect their clients money. I suggest everyone close their account before you also lose your money due to “policies” that do not protect their client. If i could give them negative stars i would.

I do not recommend Chase Sapphire card because if you have any technical problems brought about by Chase, you will have to spend a lot of time resolving it because Chase won’t. Also I had to cancel the card because Chase couldn’t fix their technical issue so I lost $95 to the annual fee even though I was planning to keep the card if Chase could have resolved their problem. I had a Chase Sapphire Preferred card but was forced to cancel due to the time and effort I had to invest just getting a credit card replacement. 1. I went through several representatives who could not issue the credit card properly. 2. The third representative I had to speak to changed the credit card number without my consent, did not inform me that the number was changed, and did not answer my questions. The representative did not want to deal with my questions so she immediately transferred me to the fraud department. The fraud department said they are not the correct department (obviously). 3. I canceled my Chase Sapphire card and submitted a complaint about the representative to the supervisor at Chase. The superviser took notes and then just hung up on me. I didn't expect Chase would have so many problems issuing something so simple like a credit card (and a credit card that costs $95 per year by the way). I had to go through a total of 3 representatives to try to resolve the issue (which never got resolved) and go through an additional 4 representatives to get my credit card cancelled because that representative changed the credit card number. Very inefficient, especially from a labor standpoint. Edit: An update - Because Chase could not print my name correctly on the credit card, I was forced to cancel the card and the manager verbally promised me a partial refund of the $95. A month passed and I did not get the partial refund. I called Chase and was *interrogated* to answer what *Chase did* to my credit card. The representative also asked who the other authorized user was on the card. So Chase has no idea what they did to my credit card and has no idea who the authorized users are??? It was as though Chase was interviewing me (a customer) and questioning me what Chase did to the card that they issued to me. I had to explain to the representative what Chase did, and I don’t even work for Chase. Chase should pay me for basically explaining to Chase what Chase did. Chase should have a record on their end. The representative said there’s no refund, which implies the manager lied to me. The representative said he’ll pull the recorded phone call and submit a claim. I didn’t even bother asking why I was interrogated like this. I just wanted to end the phone call. I heard Chase bought First Republic. With the way Chase had no idea and no record of what they did to my Chase sapphire card (which prompted the representative to ask me), I won’t be surprised if Chase goes down too.
