I had an appointment with a representative at 12:30, but I arrived at 12:00. I was the only one waiting when I noticed a lady nearby. I smiled and tried to approach her, but she gave me a cold, dismissive look and ignored me. A little while later, an older white lady arrived and sat next to me. The same lady came out of her office and immediately began speaking to the white lady, asking if she was being helped. The white lady mentioned that I had arrived before her, but the staff member still ignored me and told the white lady she would assist her since she handled 'investing stuff.' When I tried to inform her that I had an appointment at 12:30, she curtly said, 'Someone will see you soon,' with a dismissive expression. Yet, she was very kind to the white lady. Eventually, the person I had my meeting with came out and was very polite, helping me right away. Another staff member informed him that I was waiting. This was my first experience with discrimination, and it was hurtful to be treated this way by a Chase representative. I don't understand why some people think it’s acceptable to be rude or dismissive based on my appearance, especially because I wear a hijab. Why should my identity make me less worthy of respect or kindness?"

If you can I suggest avoiding this Chase at all costs. It's filthy, the ATMs are always down and Josefa is the nastiest person I've encountered so far! I had a question about a CD and she was completely dismissive, looks and acts very manly too

This branch is always kept clean and safe. Staff is very attentive and courteous. Thanks CHASE

Opened earlier than stated and Damian was very nice. Sometimes this block gets sketchy, but usually no problem going here.

Worst customer experience I’ve experienced in a bank.

I have been trying for weeks to SPEAK to a person but no one answers. I scheduled an in person meeting snd they CANCELLED it. All I need is something notarized for my Aunt who is a Chase customer but no one is willing to help. Worst bank ever

ATMs aren't open at night. If this keeps up I'm removing my paycheck deposit and going to Citibank.

WOW. Haven't been moved to make a review in a long time. Just walked in there to ask them to verify my ID to finish opening a new joint account with family out of state-You would think they would want to help a brand new customer they're always begging to get. 4 bankers sitting there, only 1 customer in the whole place. Security guard scrolling thru her phone. The head teller guy and multiple other tellers...no one in there..Literally somehow they would not help me. I pushed back asking the teller to go ask the bankers sitting there with no customers if they could pretty please do this 10 minute thing for me-Nope. Literally a joke. Wanted me to make an appt and come back next week. Today is my off day. I sought out a branch open on Saturdays. Wants me to take time off of my job to come back when its convenient for them. Then finally fought thru the cust service line to reach a different Chase 10 minutes further from me-The gal said "No problem, that only takes 10 minutes anyways, come in whenever, I'll help you". Ashamed of yourselves-Not only are you in an awful location, you treat the customers that come there to get help to give your bank money, horribly. The bank at Astor Place was SUPER helpful-Go there instead.

Worst bank I've ever been to. Bank manager said they didn't want to get involved in resolving a problem I had. Who has the audacity to say that to a customer? Pathetic

The outside area of this chase is disgusting. Clean the trash in front and the side of the building. Unacceptable.

Frustrating, aggravated, disappointed and annoyed. Do yourself a favor, do not rely on management at this branch. Do your important banking at another branch. Astro place and 23st are both well run with good management.

I’ve been calling all day. No one picks up. Horrible fraud protection system. I live in another state and they allowed someone with a FAKE drivers license to withdraw from my account. Didn’t ask any of the security questions I put in place. Should have checked if the license was fake considering it’s out of state. This and the New Jersey branch in Union both allowed the same thing to happen. The fraudsters called the bank prior and Chase noted the suspicion and didn’t even call me. Could have prevented this whole thing The entire Chase Bank is horrible. Customer service doesn’t communicate with each other. Bounces calls all over the place. CHASE IS THE WORST

THE WORST CHASE EVER. I have been here since 445p for a quick question about an error in my statement. They asked me to wait. Once 5 o'clock hit everyone got up and said I'm off so I can't help you. Wait for the 530 guy. Which is one guy who is currently tied up with a customer. All I need a quick question. No one can help still waiting at 510. I understand the need to leave by exactly 5pm but it's really sad that they forgot customer service and couldn't help. If you need a helpful banket go elsewhere for sure. This place gets 1 star because of the security guard who is nice and attentive.

Extremely condescending staff. They just assume you are dumb.

4 different people couldn’t use their cards to open the door to access ATMs at 5:30pm

Terrible. They make you wait in line for more than 60 minutes and just disappear. Ridiculous place.

The last time I visited the ATM area of this bank it was "DISGUSTING" with a Capital "D", Yes!!! It seems someone got in there and took a "DUMP" with a Capital "D", YES and spread it all over the place and in the front entrance so as no one could even walk in without hopping over the "CRAPOLLA" they left there, it was AWFUL, where was security, why do they have cameras if things like this are allowed to happen, very "Displeased" with a Capital "D"!!! LOLZ :-D

A bank is a bank but here I've found some good helpful workers

It works for your needs. I find that the teller's who have been there for sometime are really nice. They certainly beat Citibank across the street

I would give 0 if it were an option. Terrible service every single time I go to this branch. Avoid.

Meets all my Banking needs with great service and attentive staff. Once they get to know you, they speak with you and always ask if there is anything in particular that you may need at that visit.

Front foyer with 4x ATMs. Secure and locked after hours. 24hr access with your bank card.

Friendly staff, short wait times and plenty of ATMs make for a pleasant experience.

ATM always work and this place is kept very clean.

This place is horrible for Cutomer service there basically have none. I went there to get a new debit card and no one comes was at the desk that looks like a greeting desk for Cutomer service asking can they help you. I waited there for a while then I left pissed off. Many banker that worked there seen me standing there and walked by me and said nothing I was the customer service desk for a while and then I just left. This bank is bad with customer service. I hate this bank. It's only good for the atm's. Can't wait to they replace all the people with the atm's. The machines are programmed to be much nicer then there employees.
