My granddaughter loves imaginative play and Play Street Museum was mecca to her. I had an amazing time watching and playing with her. The facility is immaculate and the staff warm and friendly. What a gem.

You have an amazing place for children to play and let their imagination run free. I am impressed with all the details you have considered when designing all the store fronts. We had a wonderful time. Snack at the end was the icing on the cake. Congratulations on a place that entertains, teaches, and allows children to develop.

My spouse and I were traveling from out of town with our 11 month baby in the February season. We were researching good indoor play space to give our child a chance to move/play between our exploring of the city. The pricing is on the high end side for 1.5 hours, but I think it was worth it for the details below. The online booking process for the time slot and then the check in on the day of was easy. I recommend to come early before the time slot because it can get chaotic with all the parents checking in and getting things into cubby areas. The place was clean, very detailed with their child size themed rooms, and the play items were very good quality! It’s a socks required environment. The bathrooms were clean, and they provided these rubber slippers so you don’t get your socks wet. The only critique I would give is that I would like an option with more crawling gross motor play/play forts (there was a toddler ladder and slide but it was very popular with the older toddlers) as our child couldn’t fully appreciate the pretend play. However, our baby still had a blast and she fell asleep in our stroller after our visit. Goal obtained! If we ever visit NYC again, we would love to come back here especially when our child can play more with the play pretend items .

We had SUCH a wonderful time here, my 3 year old nephew had a blast with all the cool toys and interactive things. I have to admit, I had fun too!!! They were cleaner than any play area I've ever been to and staff was helpful and sweet. Shout-out to Cady on staff especially for answering all of our questions!

Very nice place for the kids go explore and play. What I loved the most was how clean and organized everything was! Will be coming back for sure. Note: reservations required.

Play Street Museum is a charming and thoughtfully designed play space, especially well suited for younger children. It’s essentially an indoor playroom focused on imaginative and symbolic play, and while it’s advertised for kids up to eight years old, I’d personally recommend it mainly for children up to four or five at most. My kids are four and six, and although they enjoyed parts of it, the older one felt a bit too old for most of the activities. The space is beautifully decorated and very “cute,” with several themed areas that encourage role play, such as a mini grocery store, a doctor’s office, an office space, and a pet rescue area. Kids can dress up, do simple crafts, slide down a small indoor slide, and really immerse themselves in pretend play. Everything is clean, well maintained, and clearly designed with a lot of care. That said, the experience feels quite overpriced for what it offers. On top of the general admission, several activities come at an additional cost. For example, making bracelets costs around $12 for three bracelets, and activities like making slime are also charged separately. These extras add up quickly and make the overall visit feel less good value for money, especially considering the size of the space and the target age range. Overall, it’s a lovely spot for toddlers and preschoolers, particularly for a short visit, but families with older children—or those expecting all activities to be included in the entry price—may want to manage expectations.

We had several hours to kill before boarding a plane back home and wanted to let our daughters burn off some energy on a very cold day. This place was fantastic. The value for the time and amount of activities and imaginative play your kids can do is fantastic. I only wish we had one where we live because it was such a great experience. The staff was also super nice and accommodating.

We hosted our sons second birthday party at Play Street UWS after visiting for open play earlier in the year. Ivon, Kristina and James were extremely communicative leading up to the party and helped customize the package to fit our needs. On the day of, everything was exactly as expected and on time. The space was clean and it looked like they had even refreshed it a bit since we had visited earlier in the year. Would definitely recommend for a one-time visit or a private party.

Plenty of options to keep my 4 year old entertained for the full session. She has been asking to go back. It's wonderful that Play Street offers timed windows. Keeps the space roomy enough and not over crowded. Very clean with friendly staff. I am looking forward to going back and scheduling one of the additional activities.

Play Street Museum is a great space for kids to have fun and explore. The play rooms are set up nicely, and the toys are new- unlike other indoor play venues. They did a great job with the set up- it’s visually pleasing. Staff were so polite and friendly!

What an extraordinary experience this Play Street Museum is and run by a team who truly embodies compassion and care! I would absolutely add additional stars to my rating, if it were possible, because this is a welcoming, engaging setting for all kids to play and explore their creativity. Well-maintained and an excellent value for your dollar. Whether you are looking for a party venue or just an afternoon of screens-free play, you have found it!

It's not just another kids' zone; it's a genuine haven for childhood. The space is clean, the games are intelligently designed, and the staff is remarkably caring and attentive. My kids loved every minute they spent here, from the climbing structures to the quiet arts corners. But what truly sets this venue apart is its profound spirit of humanity and inclusion. At a time when our children need safety and acceptance more than ever, the management's response to welcoming Palestinian children was outstanding. They received these children with open arms, without any hesitation, discrimination, or second thought. This sincere support for basic human decency and the well-being of every child is what elevates them above every other place we've visited.

We celebrated my daughter Scarlett’s birthday here and had such a wonderful experience! ? The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They helped me set everything up for the party and even assisted with the treasure hunt I had organized for the kids. Everything went perfectly. Overall, it was a beautiful experience. Thank you again for making this day so magical!

We had a great time with our 3yo and a couple other friends with kids last Friday night at the monthly Night at the Museum event. This space is bright, clean, and large (especially for NYC) and was a ton of fun for everyone. The recycling truck sorter and the scarf wind tunnel were highlights for our son, but everything from the big train tracks to the play cafe and eyeglass shop were very fun and cute. And the Friday night event is a deal that can't be beat -- $30 for one kid and 2 adults with pizza for all is such a steal and a fun way to kick off the weekend! We'll definitely be back :)

This place is so much fun for the little ones :) My son is almost 2 and he absolutely loved it! The staffs are really nice as well. My husband has a hearing problem and they accepted to turn off the music so he could play with his son. We are very thankful and looking forward to go back for more fun times!

Had a wonderful visit here with my 3-year-old daughter, and she absolutely loved it! The facility is very clean and well-maintained, which I think it very important when you have little ones. All the toys are in excellent condition, and there's a fantastic variety of activities to keep kids engaged. My daughter had a blast exploring all the different play options available. Highly recommend this place for families with young children!

I was so thrilled to explore the space with my two year old daughter and we both left feeling great about our experience. The staff were warm, welcoming, and were very supportive when my daughter was a little hesitant about being in a new space. She especially enjoyed the veterinarian’s office exhibit. We’ll definitely be back! :)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 – A Fun, Interactive Experience at Play Street Museum! We visited Play Street Museum on Columbus Avenue this morning and had such a fun, hands-on experience from the moment we walked in! Check-in at the front desk was quick and easy, and we were greeted warmly by the store associates. We placed our belongings in a cubby before heading into the play area. My little nephew was in awe! The environment is super kid-friendly, with a cute mini store to the right featuring hands-on puzzles and gadgets perfect for children. He wasted no time jumping right into the imaginative play space—he especially loved the train station set. Before we left, he looked at me and said, “I can’t wait to come back!”—that said it all. One of the highlights for me was how spacious it was. There’s plenty of room for families, and I was impressed to see five restrooms available! That’s rare for a kids’ space, and definitely a plus for busy family visits. Near the end of our session, the staff gave us a friendly 10–15 minute warning, which was helpful. And as a sweet touch, they offered the children a variety of snacks to choose from before leaving. My nephew enjoyed that part too! Overall, Play Street Museum offers a well-designed, interactive experience that teaches children about community helpers and places like the pet store, doctor’s office, bakery, and grocery store. We had an amazing time and will absolutely be returning. Highly recommend!

We booked my son’s third birthday here, and every single person we worked with was fantastic. We did the package that basically promises that all we have to do is show up, and that was definitely our experience. Kristina helped us coordinate everything in advance, and Grace was there to manage the event the day of. Everyone was helpful and the kids all had a great time. Highly recommend booking with them.

Had a fun afternoon at Play Street museum. My 23 month old enjoyed all the play spaces, especially the firetruck & market! Everything was clean & organized. We will definitely return.

This place is pretty great and it’s very clean! There’s a variety of things for kids to do; there’s at least 5 “pretend” rooms from what I recall. There’s also a bunch of little activities that the kids can add on to their overall stay. I would just note that the high price point is not for everybody and this place is not the most ideal for kids who are looking for a bit more physical activity. Most of the activities are crafts and play pretend, but there’s only one small slide. But the facilities are amazingly clean and the staff is relatively nice.

I went to the Night at the Museum event. The price is super affordable and it’s a great activity for a Friday night. Two adults are allowed per child for $25 for 90 minutes of play plus pizza is served. I love the museum but it’s a bit pricey for our family on regular days, however, this special event was an amazing discount. The museum is always clean and not overcrowded. Perfect for the little ones.

Play Street is clean, welcoming, and a wonderful place for children to learn and play with minimal adult involvement. It's one of my favorite places to take my kids and know that I can relax and let them have fun. We recently hosted our 4 year old's birthday here and the staff was incredible, even getting out a giant ladder to save our special Buzz Lightyear balloon that floated up to the ceiling. Especially great to book when the kids are off school and you need a little out of the house break.

We had the most wonderful birthday party experience at Play Street Museum on the Upper West Side! The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive, making sure every detail was taken care of. All the staff members were highly knowledgeable and helped us with set up and to get the party flowing. Jessi was outstanding from beginning to end. The kids had an absolute blast exploring the different play areas. The museum was clean, well-organized, and perfect for little ones. An incredible add to the neighborhood. We couldn’t have asked for a better party venue. Highly recommend! The owner came by in the end, and was incredibly kind and welcoming. Also it is SPOTLESS.

This was such an amazing experience for myself and my child. The details that the owners put into this place shows and we were shocked with excitement the entire time. Each little play area had its own costumes for the children to match their activities at that time. This space is very clean, very spacious and the employees were super friendly. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners and they were some of the nicest people, very nice, very hands on, and they made the overall experience super nice. 10 out of 10.

We hosted my daughter’s birthday party at Play Street Museum last Sunday, and it was amazing! The entire process from booking to decorating and organizing was seamless, and the team was great to work with. The space is spacious, with fun and educational sections that entertained kids from a few months old to 8 years old. Everyone had a blast! I’m so happy with how everything turned out and can’t wait to plan another party here. Highly recommend!
Nov 25, 2024 -
This is a very nice play space with lots of adorable little details like pint-sized mechanic coveralls and a very cute accessories in all the play centers. My 3.5 year old loved it, although he spent the majority of his time at the wind machine. The place is very clean and well-maintained and there’s lots of stuff to do. But, can we also agree that 50 dollars for one kid (accompanied by an adult) for an hour in a half in what is basically one room is excessive? The Children’s Museum of Manhattan, for comparison, is 34 dollars for an adult and a child and it’s several floors and you can stay all day.

We came on Saturday morning with my 5-year-old and 7-year-old, and the place was super clean and quiet. The session is 1 hour and 30 minutes, and it goes by quickly. There are a lot of toys, animals, and planes to play with. They give you a snack at the end, which is super nice. Very nice experience but I feel like it would have been better for 2 hours .

Play Street Museum was a wonderful experience! We arrived a few minutes early, were checked in my staff, and staff explained that they were finishing up and we could enter in a few minutes. We only had to wait a few minutes and while we waited our daughter “skimmed” the selection of activities and toys at the front of the store. They have a lovely selection to choose from. Upon entering, the place was clean and organized. The time literally flew by because we all had so much fun. Aside from the open play, we engaged in making “dinosaur slime” and cupcake decorating. The set up and selection of “sections” made it easy for children and adults to enjoy. Above all, the staff were extremely kind, knowledgeable, and friendly. You could tell they loved to be there as well. Overall, this location was clean, organized, inviting, and a ton of fun! We cannot wait to come back. We highly recommend Play Stress Museum - UWS!

Took my 5 year old for a birthday party. It was amazing. I can't speak for the details of the party, but I can say that we had a blast. There is so much to do, kids will be entertained for hours. Its in a convenient location, admission price is reasonable, staff is friendly, and the space was remarkably clean. We will totally be back for open play!!!
