I’ve been banking here at grand street for so long! Kristen is honestly one of the best! She’s always so helpful, patient, and easy to talk to. She really makes you feel taken care of.
Sang me Kim is a very good customer representative in my opinion. She was extremely helpful when I first met her couple weeks ago, helped me with my bank account reactivation, followed up via phone as needed, and helped me with everything at our subsequent meetings at the branch. I'm so happy David Wylie and Sang Me Kim helped me set up online banking and paperless, Sang took her time explaining what the user id and password meant, I'm not good with computers, their service was excellent, will recommend highly all my friends and family to bank here, David is so highly skilled and knowledgeable, this is the best customer experience I ever had,

Horrible customer service. The manager of the branch just now told me he'll close my account for giving "attitude". Which is crazy considering he couldn't help with closing a bank account that's a joint account for my mom and dad WHO'S DECEASED. So he cant help to close my moms old account but he was quick to tell me he'd close MY joint account with my mother. He said he would call me back and never bothered. He didn't like my attitude but proceeded to give me one. The banker told me my mom would be able to transfer funds with NO ISSUE however they refused to help when she originally called, telling her that over the phone money transfers cant be done. My mom called AGAIN and finally the manager decided to authorize it (he could have done that from the beginning). Now he's saying the system is glitching "that's not his problem" HOWEVER his problem is bad customer service and no patience. He continue to give me the run around and defending his employees AFTER telling me what they told my mom was wrong. SHE IS ABLE TO DO OVER THE PHONE TRANSFERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been a customer at the Apple bank on Grand Street for many years. The bank is very convenient. But what really keeps me coming back again and again is the customer service. My favorite person at the bank is the branch manager: Hulya Samuel. I give her a lot of the credit for the wonderful way the branch is managed. She is available to talk to whenever I need to. That is such a comfort and most unusual at other banks. I hope that this branch will stay open for many years with Hulya Samuels as the manager.
Herman Romero is the nicest teller I’ve ever met. I’m president of a charitable organization and sometimes I give him over one hundred checks to deposit. He accepts and deposits them with a big smile. Herman works in the Apple bank on Grand Street NYC
Do not open an account at Apple Bank I am a disabled woman that was treated very unfairly at my branch and Grand Street I was told to walk to a post office and fix my problem when they could have fixed my problem where they were without even recognizing that I was holding a cane and I had a disability they did not help me at all I let Apple Bank go I'm at another bank now please don't go to Apple Bank
I initially had a less than professional encounter when trying to open an account. For some reason, I thought that since it was during the quarentine that they'd be more accommodating, however there was a distinct lack of interest detectable. I was told what documents I needed for the type of account I was opening. I had a very difficult time obtaining the document due to quarentine restrictions, but did return with the document and then was told I needed an additional document. SERIOUSLY! What type of novice customer service is this? Travelled 6 hrs 6 hrs rd tp to get the document during quarentine to be told I needed another document that should have been explained in my initial meeting. As if my risking breaking quarentine once wasn't bad enough.
Although it's a small community Bank it's unfortunately apparent they're not keenly interested in gaining new accounts. Decided to check reviews, and to my surprise others have also been on the receiving end of this poor professional demeanor. It's worth walking to a more accommodating bank nearby.
Opened an account here because is the only bank near where I live, the worst bank ever, waited a month for the the debit card that was supposed to come within 5-7 business days and after a month of waiting I went back to the bank to inquire only to be told by the same person that opened the account she forgot to put in the request for the debit card. Unbelievable as to how such irresponsible worker is allowed to continue working in a place where she is so negligent and get away with such irresponsibility.
Sandra Rodriguez did a very poor job in customer service yesterday morning. She was extremely slow, had a terrible attitude and personality, and she was not kind. This is shocking because Apple Bank has a great reputation for hiring and monitoring excellent people who provides excellent customer service. Sadly, the Management dropped the ball in this site. We want more accountability and better training for this site. Other sites like those wonderful employees at Staten Island and 1168 1st Ave are an excellent examples on how they serve their clients with respect, dignity, and kindness. I'm proud of them and I'm proud of my bank: Apple Bank.
I wanted to transfer from another branch to this. Teller was hostile and taciturn; officers were listless and monosyllabic. This branch oozes apathy. It's very unpleasant. So I'm not transferring. 12.2018
Stopped by there today to open an account and the attitude was like they couldn’t care less. No answers to my questions. Tellers looked hung over. So I left and will put my $ someplace else
