mukhtar is amazing and super helpful! i had an issue with my ipad air 5th generation that prevented it from charging or turning on. the damage may have been due to a faulty charger, but i went to apple to try and get it fixed and they instead told me that i should just get an entirely new ipad! i found SPR and mukhtar was very kind and helpful. the repair took around 2 weeks but my ipad is now running like it used to before!

I can’t praise Mukhtar enough. My laptop battery died and I needed to replace it a quickly as possible. I contacted SPR on a Saturday morning and Muktar agreed to meet me at his workshop that very afternoon. Within a matter of a few hours, my computer was again up and running. Mukhar worked quickly, efficiently and provided his service at a reasonable fee. I highly recommend.

SPR is the best - fixed my phone’s logic board after I got liquid into a crack in the back of the phone. He was able to fix the board and restore my battery health for a great price - he managed to do all this without losing any of my data.

My iPhone wasn’t charging so I brought it into this shop and Muktar fixed it. The next, I realized the mic was off so I brought it back for his review to see if something else was thrown off during the initial charging port exchange and he was able to kindly check it out and fix the issue which was a very minor fix. Great guy and quality repairs at a reasonable rate.

Mukhtar is awesome, you can tell the dude cares about helping people out and is not just in it for money. He fixed my brand new $3500 laptop with fatal water damage to the motherboard for much cheaper than I ever expected. Doesn't cut corners, very honest and trustworthy. Recently has my Ipad Pro fixed at SPR. My kids had shattered it to pieces and it was all bent. Mukhtar left it like new fixing both screen and frame in 24hs. He also did not exceed his original quote from a cost/service perspective. I would definitely recommend you to use his service.

I gave him my laptop & it was fixed in 2 days. He is knowledgeable & works efficiently. I will definitely be returning to him if i have any laptop issue in the future.

I had my Macbook screen repaired here about a year ago. They were prompt, responsive, and the repair seemed to be good. But it is a stopgap: the quality of screen replaced was visibly lower than what I'd had before (slight yellowish tint) and a year out, my screen has been having some issues that have to do with the nature of the previous repair. Ultimately: good for a temporary repair but know you may be simply extending the life on your broken computer and not truly fixing it!

My computer broke down suddenly, I took it to SPR and he was able to repair and recover all the data. I can't assess if the price was expensive for the job or not, but the work done was perfect. One point that might be an issue for soem people: the shop is in the third floor of an office building. Just to enter the building you have to show ID. So that's something to keep in mind.

I usually don’t do reviews but I have to because this guy Mukhtar is an absolute pleasure to do business with. 100% honest, fixed both my iPad screens and gave me a great price. Definitely recommend SPR Computer corp to everyone who needs to repair their electronic device.

I went to get my laptop battery replaced and Mr. Mukhtar did an amazing job! The problem I had is that there were 3 stripped screw heads at the back panel which was very complex to remove and can't access the battery due to the screws. Mr. Mukhtar was able to remove it, I already went to 2 different technicians one of them being Best Buy and there were unable to open the back panel. I highly recommend Mr. Mukhtar if you have a similar issue, he is very professional and get's the job done.

Yes, yes, yes!!! This place is a gem! Mukhtar to the rescue! My MacBook Air keyboard stopped working and Apple Care told me it was water damaged. The price to fix was quoted at $800. Absolutely insane! And I never spilled anything on it. I inquired and Mukhtar responded right away. He said I could drop my laptop off at my convenience. This business is insanely close to my job so I walked over and in a day and a half, my laptop was fixed! The cherry on top is the cost was almost 70% less than the Apple Store price. AND, my laptop did NOT have water damage! If you're looking to repair a keyboard on your MacBook in NYC, I highly recommend going here. When I picked up my laptop he actually charged me less than his original quote. Unheard of. Feels so good to give money to an honest business.

Excellent service. I had two MacBook Pros that needed battery replacements, and he was able to replace both batteries within two days. Mukhtar is very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I'd highly recommend him, and I will definitely return to SPR Computer in the future.

SPR was able to fully repair my Macbook pro with a damaged logic board and an exploded battery. It was an incredibly difficult job but he was able to do it perfectly and even gave me a discount. He is incredible and I would recommend him to everyone! Thank you again from the bottom of my heart <3

My mug fell off, and water splashed onto my MBP, causing it not to work anymore. I took it to the Apple Store, and the employee told me that I had to replace the logic board, which would cost too much. Fortunately, I found Mokhtar at SPR Computer Repair, and he took a few days (as he had some urgent things at that time) to check my MBP and then gave me a reasonable quote to repair my MBP. He is very friendly and very professional. After around two weeks, I picked it up and started using it as my primary workforce. Everything worked fine, except it rebooted every night, and the Touch Bar flickered sometimes. I googled it and thought the Touch Bar might cause the issue. So I sent a message to him with my guess. He responded as quickly as before and told me to bring my MBP back to his office for a full inspection. He told me not to worry because he guaranteed three months for the repair. After handing the MBP to him again in around three weeks, he let me to pick it up and told me that it was indeed the TouchBar issue. At this time, he replaced a new TouchBar for free and doubled checked the MBP to see if it would reboot for around two weeks before I picked it up. Now everything works fine now since I used it. Mokhtar did a great job, and I would recommend him to anyone as I promised.
